• Tascau (4/5): O experienta de nerepetat - Locatia este in apropierea mijloacele de transport in comun si in apropierea magazinelor si restaurantelor. Personalul a încercat sa fie drăguț si lenjeria a fost curata. Am stat la et. 2, camera 217, o camera foarte mica, cu o baie improvizata in interiorul ei. Camera precar igienizata, foarte mult praf, cu mobilier vechi, lumina foarte slaba, un singur bec in camera , total insuficient. Scara de acces este abrupta si foarte zgomotoasa iar in camera se aude absolut tot ce se intampla in camerele vecine si pe culoar. In terasa restaurantului este muzica de la ora 22.00 pana la ora 2 noaptea. Imposibil sa te poti odihni. Geamurile sunt foarte, foarte vechi si nu se închid bine. Micul dejun f slab, in fiecare zi acelasi...servit la porție, pe o tava de plastic. Internetul s-a întrerupt continuu. Doua zile din 7 nu am avut apa calda....

• Evren (4/5): - Das Hotel ist in einer belebten Straße mit Kneipen und Cafés. Wir hatten das oberste Suite mit kleiner Terrasse zur Straßenseite. Das Zimmer war wirklich in einem nicht guten Zustand. Der Boden war klebrig und In einer Nische lag ein großer Kartons und eine Regipsplatte rum. Die Eingangstür zum Zimmer hatte eine unverputzte offene Regipsplatte mit Nägel und Schrauben. Das Bad war stark sanierungsbedürftig mit einer nicht mehr ansehnlichen Kalk- und Seifenresten befallen und defekten Duschkabinentür. Bis spät um Mitternacht war Livemusik zu hören und die Fenster hatten so gut wie keine Schalisolation. Vor einer Fensterbank lag zudem ein ausgerolltes dreckiges Handtuch. Zum Schluss dachten wir, dass vielleicht uns noch das angepriesene „Kontinental Frühstück“ etwas milde stimmen könnte. Leider war auch das sehr enttäuschend. Letztlich ist uns wirklich schleierhaft wie das Hotel zu den guten Bewertungen gekommen ist. Unser Start in den Istanbulurlaub ist mit dieser Unterkunft gänzlich missglückt. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert

• Verified traveler (4/5): Enforce the non-smoking rule - We stayed for two nights and honestly should have left after the first. I will preface by saying that the staff who helped us were very kind and attentive. Our problem is that the hotel is listed as non-smoking, with signs literally everywhere stating that smoking is prohibited, yet the lobby and all areas of the restaurant allow smoking. Even with the signs in the lobby, people (including staff members!!) smoked. Our first room was in the main building, right above the restaurant. The cigarette smoke was unbearable and we weren’t able to sleep. The next day, I asked to be moved to another room to avoid the smoke, which they obliged. The new room seemed fine, it smelled normal and was further from the restaurant and in another building. HOWEVER, during the evening, some other guests were smoking and it permeated the hallway. Because there is a gap between the door and the floor, the smoke wafted into our room. When I complained to the front desk, they told me they couldn’t tell who it was and couldn’t help me, that I should put on the air filter in the room’s aircon (couldn’t, they removed the button). We opened the windows but the music from the restaurant was so loud, we (again) couldn’t sleep. We really regret not just asking for the second night to be cancelled so we could go to a hotel that was actually a non-smoking hotel. Either enforce the rules or don’t list your hotel as non-smoking. The signs all over the lobby were performative, they meant nothing.

I didnt get her name, but you cant miss the only redhead for miles in every direction~ The room was just as advertised, and there were four bottles of water (two spring, two sparkling) in the fridge. My only complaint is how loud the neighborhood is. Someone played the same at top volume for literally six straight hours. Otherwise, it's a great area with tons to do~

• Tanaz (8/5): - Great staff, great location, beautiful rooms. The only thing is there’s live music until 1 am every night and the sound does travel. If you are looking to sleep early , this is not for you but if you want to be up late, it’s perfect.

It must be stated however, you really should bring earplugs, because holy Mary is the music around the accommodation loud haha. It is the price you pay for having this amazing location in the middle of all the fun in Kadiköy.
• Mahir (10/5): Geschichtsträchtiges Haus in Kadiköy - Das Hotel hat durch seine besondere Historie und den Zustand seiner liebevoll restaurierten Räume eine besondere Atmosphäre und somit ein besonderes Flair. Das Hotel ist der zentral und liegt mitten in Kadiköy. Man kann also alles super gut zu Fuß erreichen. Auch der Fährhafen ist in paar Minuten Entfernung gut erreichbar. Ich finde auch super, dass unglaublich viele Bars, Restaurants und so weiter in der Nähe sind. Ich fand die Mitarbeiter auch sehr hilfsbereit und super nett, vor allem Seydi an der Rezeption, der sich um alles gekümmert hat. Top!!! Vielen Dank noch mal dafür!!

• Marion (4/5): Vous payez l'emplacement - Nous avons été acceuillis convenablement mais on ne nous a donné aucune information (accès aux chambres par l'extérieur de l'hotel, mais via une porte à digicode dont on ne nous a pas donné le code et pour laquelle il a fallu retourner à l'acceuil pour demander de pouvoir rentrer, pas d'explication sur l'accès wifi ni lors de notre accueil ni dans la chambre, pas d'explications sur les horaires et procédures de check out, ... bref aucune explication). Ensuite la chambre donnait directement sur la rue, qui est une rue festive et animée donc en soi c'est bien, mais pas quand la fenêtre est cassée et ne ferme pas correctement, que l'isolation phonique est inexistante et que vous passez donc la nuit comme si vous étiez litéralement dans le bar à musique Live. Le chauffage impossible à baisser donc il a fallu mettre la climatisation pour réguler la température de la pièce (super ecolo...) donc on a eu trop chaud et trop froid tout à la fois toute la nuit en plus de ne pas pouvoir fermer l'oeil avec les décibels. Mais le lit était confortable, le linge de maison propre, et la salle de bain propre et équipée d'un seche cheveux, savon, shampooing, après-shampooing, kit brosse à dent et coton tiges, ce qui était appréciable. Douche spacieuse et agréable. Mais vraiment je ne recommande pas si vous venez sans boules quies, c'était l'enfer. Nous avons trouvé le prix de la chambre éxagéré par rapport à la qualité du service, vous payerez l'emplacement au centre de Kadikoy c'est tout.
• 778carolt (10/5): Fabulous hotel - Absolutely loved the hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly, really couldn't do enough for us. We loved the rooms, spacious and clean. The location was fabulous They even provided us with pillows, eye masks and a snood for our flight home . Hospitality at its best. We will definitely return.
• BertVanWinkle (8/5): 4 days in Istanbul - Nice little hotel in a bustling location. We stayed 4 nights at Sarniç, it’s an authentic old building, so don’t expect to be using a lift to get to your room, it’s a spiral staircase, in keeping with the age of the property, the room was small BUT very comfortable & clean . The area is lively, loads of bars and restaurants to choose from, or just book a table at the hotel, it’s a nice restaurant. Great location for exploring the city, 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal, old tram runs through Kadikoy, worth a ride on. The staff made our stay really good, couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we need, helpful beyond belief. Would we stay here again? Definitely, thanks Sarniç for all your efforts to make our trip so happy, just sort out the WI-FI 😂 it’s a bit hit and miss .

• 197David (2/5): Backward unprofessional and appalling customer service - This is a very backward hotel / restaurant. I stayed here over the weekend but when a friend asked if we could reserve a table for two we were refused because they do not accept bookings from groups without women. This is a very backward establishment that should not exist in todays modern society. Instead I recommend other great restaurants which treat you much better, such as Ciya.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Kadıköy’ün kalbinde keyifli bir konaklama - 2 gece konakladım, otele girer girmez resepsiyonda güleryüzle karşılandım, konakladığım süre boyunca da tüm çalışanlar sempatik ve ilgiliydi, sağolsunlar ❤️ Otelin konumu mükemmel, Kadıköy Caferağa’nın kalbindesiniz, otel binası tarihi dokusuyla Kadıköy’le uyum içinde. Oda ve banyo temizdi, sabah kahvaltısı klasik ama gayet doyurucuydu. Akşam canlı müzik sesleri rahatsız edebilir ama bana sanki yazlık bir yerdeymişim hissi yarattı bu yüzden sorun etmedim. Kaldığım odanın manzarası yan binanın cephesiydi ama zaten manzara seyretmek gibi bir derdim de yoktu, gündüzleri zaten odada değildim. Bina eski bir yapı olduğundan, zemin ve merdivenleri ahşap, yürüdükçe ses çıkarması olağan, ama merdivenleri biraz dik, bavulunuz vs varsa dikkatli inip çıkmak gerekir.. Gördüğüm kadarıyla ziyaretçi profili de belirli bir seviye üstünde. Özetle sıcak, samimi bir konaklama tecrübesiydi. Tarihi bir konakta yaşayan eski bir Kadıköy sakini gibi hissettim 2 gün boyunca. Teşekkürler.
• Ingie0 (2/5): Disappointing stay. - We were very disappointed with our stay here. We were allocated a tiny bedroom on the 4th floor. With a very steep spiral staircase there was nobody available to assist with our suitcases. Secondly the establishment has a bar/restaurant with loud music playing every night till 1.00am. The noise was very loud and the cigarette from the restaurant comes into the bedrooms. If you want a good night's sleep do not go to this establishment.

There are tons of restaurants and stores walking distance from the hotel offering a variety of options. Beds were comfortable and the staff friendly. We had a very early flight and they arranged for a taxi to drive us there at 5am which was much appreciated.

• JUDITH (2/5): - It's like trying to sleep in a bedroom located in the middle of a concert where everyone around the room is heavily smoking. I couldn't sleep there AT ALL. I had to cancel my reservation and move to another hotel. Worst hotel experience in my 25 years of traveling around the world. The noise goes on until the morning hours every day of the week. Staff will say rooms are sound proofed (they are not). They'll also say it's prohibited to smoke inside the hotel. This is true, nonetheless people smoke inside the hotel, including overnight workers. They smoke A LOT. Other than that, it's a beautiful and comfortable hotel.
• Rachel (10/5): Fabulous location and staff! - The room was gorgeous, with Ottoman style painted walls and very high ceilings. Very cool spiral staircase leading up to the rooms. The restaurant and the neighborhood are very lively at night. The neighborhood in general was incredible as well--so much to do and see and eat! But the really special part of the Sarnic is the staff--they were all very warm and caring and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and that we were enjoying our time. Thank you!

Canlı müzikte çok güzeldi tek pişmanlığımız restoranda yer ayirtmamis olmak, bizde odamızdan müziğin keyfini çıkardık.. Kahvaltısı oldukça doyurucu ve güzeldi, personel guleryuzlu ve ilgili..Daha ne olsun,tekrar tercih edeceğim bir otel.Hersey için tesekkurler, güzel bir haftasonuydu..
• Eda (10/5): - Otele giriş anından itibaren , çok güler yüzlü ve ilgililerdi. İstanbul’un göbeğinde sanki tatildeymişsiniz hissini yaşatan bir otel . Meyhanesini de çalışanlarını da çok sevdik . Canlı müzik , küçük ve sevimli meyhanesi , odaların dokusu , tasarımı çok keyifliydi. Çok teşekkür ederiz.
• C.Polydorou (10/5): Friendly staff and meets expectations - I had a great short stay in this hotel. Awesome location and friendly staff. The room is also comfortable and the staff prepared me that there would be some noise at night (since there are bars, restaurants etc) on the street and they even gave me ear plugs. Overall had a great experience and would recommend. Very fair price too.
• Bahar (6/5): Gürültülü - Hafta içi 3 gece burada konaklama yaptık (salı,çarşamba,perşembe). Normalde gece 12 ye kadar canlı müzik dolayısıyla ses olabileceği söylendi. Biz zaten hep gece 1 ve sonrası otele giriş yapacağımız için sorun olmaz diye düşündük. Fakat gece 2:30 gibi hala aşağıdaki müşteriler bağıra bağıra şarkı söylüyordu. Diğer taraftan resepsiyondan konuşma sesleri geliyordu. Haftasonu kalsak muhtemelen daha da rahatsız olacaktık. Odaya biryerlerden sürekli sigara kokusu geliyordu. Odadaki lavabo o kadar küçüktü ki yüzümü yıkarken sular hep ayaklarıma aktı. Gümüş odada kaldık. Kahvaltı idare eder. Biz sadece ilk gün otelde kahvaltı yaptık diğer günler dışarıda kahvaltı yapmayı tercih ettik. Konum güzel fakat sadece konum için tekrar burayı seçeceğimi düşünmüyorum.
• Ceyhun (10/5): Memnun kaldığım bir deneyim - Otele giriş yapmadan bile karşılaştığımız ilgi alaka çok iyiydi. Otelde bulunduğumuz süre içerisinde de her şekilde ilgilenmeye çalıştılar. Odalar temiz ve konforlu. Biraz gürültü oluyor bulunduğu konum yüzünden fakat bunu bilerek buraya geldik, bu konuda da yapabilecekleri bir şey yok. Rezervasyon yapmadan önce de uyarıyorlar zaten. Kahvaltısı da iyi, kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

• Lama (10/5): Love it - I had an amazing time at this real historic property you will feel the real wood nice smell the staff are sooooooo friendly more than you can imagine you will feel like you are having your breakfast with your dearest friends, speaking English as well, also they have nice restaurant you’ll enjoy ur night with different music style every night i do highly recommend and notice that i said it’s really historical I do highly recommended
• Jayme Rafael (8/5): Perfect location, kind staff and comfortable room - The team from Sarni Otel was really nice and helpful even before I arrived, by helping with changing the date of my booking after I made a mistake in the rush. Already at the place, I felt very welcome and enjoyed my stay a lot. The hotel is quite charming, in a buzzy street in the middle of everything. The restaurant on the back, ran by the same owners also has nice music and chill environment. The only thing to take into account is that it's in a quite bohemian area, so it can get noisy on weekends, but I think that's the case in many of the nice parts of Istanbul...

• bakaN_14ever (10/5): Historic and comfy - Amazing place at the heart of Kadıköy. The receptionist Şilan was really kind and helpful. Strongly recommended. Food of the meyhane was really good. Prices are normal. Only concern might be the noise of the street. A fair price if you want to be in that district.
• Erman (10/5): - Simply amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and cute :) It is a super convenient location if you want to see Kadikoy. The hotel is just steps away from amazing restaurants and really close to the ferry if you want to cross to the EU side. The hotel room has really nice spacing. I really enjoyed staying here and definitely a would stay here again when I visit Istanbul.

• mert (10/5): - Otelin temizliği, personelin güler yüzü, sürekli yardımcı olmak istemeleri, konumu sebebiyle defalarca konaklama yaptığım bir otel. Gitmişken restoran bölümünden de faydalanarak çok daha keyifli bir konaklama yapılabilir.
• Ogün (10/5): Tarihi bina ile güzel bir butik otel ve restaurant - Çok güzel bir konaklama yeri ve tarihi binadan oluşması, tasarımı bu tarz mekanları sevenler için kesinlikle tavsiye olunur. Merkezi konumda bir çok restaurant ve mekana yürüyerek ulaşabilirsiniz. Oda ferah, temiz ve rahattı. Planımızda değişiklik olduğu için çift kişilik oda için tek kişilik rezervasyonu iki kişi olarak değiştirdik ve gittiğimizde yardımcı oldular. Ufak bir değişiklikle en üst kattaki odada kaldık. Dışarıdan çok ses gelmedi, bulunduğu konuma göre de gürültü olması doğal. Çalışanlar samimi, güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Banyoda sabun, duş jeli vb.yanında diş macunu ve fırça da bulunması artı. Odada çay, kahve, soda ve su ikramları var. Kahvaltı da gayet güzeldi, beğendik kesinlikle tavsiye ederiz. Çok teşekkürler.

Everything was so good, i had a chance to meet a nice woman Şila that works in here as a reception, she love her job and help you best as she can. Because of the place of hotel the nights is a little bit noisy but deserve it.

Dışarıdan bile neredeyse hiç ses gelmezken resepsiyondan her ses duyuluyor. Gece resepsiyonda kalan çalışanın telefon konulmaları, tv sesi, gelenlerle yüksek sesle konuşmalar sabahın 04.00-05.00 arasına kadar devam etti. Ayrıca akşam 22.00dan gece 05.00a kadar 15-20 dk aralıklarla çalan kapı sesi gram uyutmuyor.

• Prof Gokhan (8/5): Good for a short stay in Kadikoy (asian side) - In the center of Kadiköy area. (asian part) It’s an old house bur decorated finely. Rooms are not sound-isolated so that you can hear neighbours or street. It is in a lovely street with full of bars and cafes.

• kyle (8/5): Careful about the live music. - Spacious room but the queen bed was two twin mattresses pushed together. My window was connected to a restaurant which had loud live music. Music wasnt an issue bc they stopped at 10pm, but could be trouble if you want to get to bed early.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Hot water wasn’t working but it was fixed quickly. They also sent my clothes out for washing and they were returned quickly. Not a great view as it is in the center of many buildings but this also means everything you want is immediately available when walking out. Some of the receptionists spoke English and some did not, relying on google translate. No major problems.
• sevi_2017 (8/5): In the center of Kadikoy- Kadıköy'ün Merkezinde - + Otel is really near to all transportation tools like subway, ferry, bus, High Speed Train etc. Otel gerçekten de metro, vapur, otobüs, hızlı tren gibi bütün ulaşım araçlarına çok yakın. + It's clean and safety. Temiz ve güvenliydi. + People were very kind, helpful and gentil. İnsanlar kibar, yardımsever ve nazikti. - Just because of taverns, it was too noisy. I couldn't sleep very well. Meyhanelerden dolayı, çok gürültülüydü. Çok iyi uyuyamadım. - Also unfortunately Wifi was not working very well :( Ayrıca maalesef ki Wifi çok iyi çalışmıyordu.

• fefe43r (10/5): Romance - Beautiful wooden hotel right in the middle of Kadikoy. Stunning rooms, very pretty and also quiet given we were in the middle of the action. Staff super friendly and helpful. Would stay again for sure...my only negative comment would be breakfast was very basic considering it’s also a quality restaurant, but this is easy to fix. I look forward to my next visit there. Thank-you team Sarnic!

• StefanieK (10/5): - Sarnik Butik was a great experience! We stayed there on our last evening in Istanbul. The hotel is located on a very cute street in the hippest neighborhood of Kadikoy, there are many fantastic restaurants and shops within walking distance. When we mentioned having early flight out the next morning, the staff offered to make us sandwiches to take away as breakfast was included in the reservation and we would be missing it in the morning. We had high ceilings (12 feet) and the room was beautifully and tastefully adorned. Very good sound proofing too, considering being located on a busy street, we had a very restful time. Highly recommend the Sarnic Butik Hotel!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - An absolute pearl! Right in the thick of the best part of Istanbul. Hustle, bustle but also serene tranquility if you walk just along the coast to Moda. Close to the metro, ferry or larger boats. Easy to get everywhere. The hotel is in an old villa and thoroughly beautiful. The staff are really friendly, helpful and happy to help.
