• Johanna (10/5): Super Unterkunft, tolle Lage, sehr nette Vermieter - Zeitraum: 3 Nächte Mitte Mai Lage: etwas oberhalb der Altstadt (140 Stufen bis runter zur Stadtmauer), toller Blick auf Adria und Altstadt/Stadtmauer. Sehr ruhige Gegend abends, man hat keine Autos oder Nachbarn gehört. Ausstattung: die Fotos stimmten mit dem Zimmer überein. Großes, sehr angenehmes Doppelbett. Großer TV. Küchenzeile mit Tisch und Stühlen sowie allem, was man braucht (Kühlschrank, Spüle, Geschirrspüler, Geschirr etc.). Bad mit großer Dusche. Viel Ablagemöglichkeiten in der ganzen Unterkunft. Die Klimaanlage mussten wir noch nicht benutzen. Betreuung: wir hatten guten Kontakt per WhatsApp mit den Vermietern bzgl. evtl. abholen vom Flughafen (gegen eine Gebühr) oder wo man auf uns wartet. Da man in Dubrovnik nicht überall mit dem Auto fahren kann, war es toll, dass wir vom Taxi zur Unterkunft gebracht wurden. Selbst mit Google wäre es recht spannend geworden, die richtigen Wege zu finden. Man bot uns auch eigens erstellte Touren nach bspw. Bosnien an, aber wir waren nicht lange genug dort, um das in Anspruch zu nehmen. Ich kann mir aber vorstellen, dass das auch super abläuft. Marko und Team waren sehr sehr nett, stets hilfsbereit und erreichbar, wenn man mal Fragen hatte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! -

We had rented two apartments for six people one of them was a studio and one was two bedrooms. They’re actually not in the same building but very close to each other. It didn’t seem to matter as we liked them both.
• Jane (10/5): Beautiful property with beautiful views and wonderful hosts. - Amazing property with beautiful views and wonderful design. It was gorgeous and very well appointed. The hosts were extraordinarily helpful and even arranged for airport and ferry pickups. The building is older, but has been restored and is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. While it was very close to the old town, it was also uphill which many properties are. It was a hike up to get back from the pile gate, Lots of stairs. From other areas, it was a more gradual uphill. But you have to be up high to have good views so it was worth it.

• Magdalena (10/5): - Apartments Cava ma świetną lokalizację- bardzo bliskie sąsiedztwo OLD TOWN, widok z okna na fort Lovrijenac i mury obronne miasta Dubrovnik. Poranna kawa z widokiem na Adriatyk i miasto umilały bardzo poranki. Apartaments bardzo nowoczesny i bardzo czysty. Ekspres do kawy z pyszną kawą uatrakcyjniał poranki. Dojście do apartamentu schodami i wąskimi uliczkami wprowadzały bardzo romantyczny klimat. W bliskim sąsiedztwie na pergoli nad uliczką kwitnął Jaśmin gwiazdkowy i roztaczał piękny aromat. Cechą kraju jest wprowadzanie pergoli z winorośli i kwiatów kwitnących i mocno pachnących-to bardzo wzmacnia odbiór wrażeń. Pobyt uważam za bardzo atrakcyjny, duży plus za lokalizację Cava i czysty wystrój. W dniu wylotu mieliśmy jeszcze Całą Rodziną zaplanowane kajaki- Marko zaproponował, żeby bagaże zostawić w bezpiecznym miejscu i cieszyć się kajakami- po zakończonym rejsie mogliśmy już nie mając pokoju-już się wymeldowaliśmy- wrócić się przebrać i zabrać bagaże- to było duże udogodnienie. Pobyt oceniamy 10/10- pełna satysfakcja.

• Jin (10/5): Thank you! We really enjoyed our stay. - We liked the location. Close to the main gain of the old Dubrovnik town but away from the noise. There are a lot of steps from the town area but you can most of the steps by entering via back streets.

Such as the coffee machine with a wide range of pods and a large selection of teas, being British, my wife still brought her own tea bags! Met by Marco who showed us around and gave us lots of useful tips for our visit. Highly recommend. Plan to return. We couldn't stay longer

• Shelby (10/5): Great location, super comfortable and incredible host!! - The property was in a great location, with an amazing and helpful host who truly thought of everything to make our stay exceptional. The space was clean, comfortable, and upon arrival we were welcomed with a local bottle of wine, fresh bread, and some goodies waiting for us—which was incredible after landing after 10 p.m., starving, since all nearby restaurants, airport stalls, and grocery stores were closed at that hour. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly. The only thing to note is that when you get dropped off with your luggage, make sure to go directly to the pin Marko shares. The alternative route from the bottom involves stairs, so going down is much easier than going up. Nothing.
• Paul (10/5): Was an amazing stay and would highly recommend. - The property was great! Clean, modern and very comfortable. It’s well appointed and comes with coffee and some snacks. It is close to Old Town with a great view of the Fort. Marko is an excellent host, he handled everything for us including transfers to and from the airport. Make sure you take one of his tours. Sunset tour was great. Nothing I didn’t like.

• Robert (10/5): Excellent!!!The best apartment I have rented so far plus the hosts are so helpful!!! - The apartment is the best. So neat and organized. Plus, complimentary wine and locally made alcoholic drinks made us so special! The stairs to reach the apartment from the Old Town. But I guess that's the excitement part 😊, and stairs are part of Dubrovnik so it's not so much of a big deal. Special thanks to Vedrana, Marko's sister of whom we asked a big favor to get us a suitcase from downtown.

• Anja (10/5): - Die Lage war toll. Kurzer Weg in die Altstadt. Und einen tollen Transfer vom Flughafen vom Vermieter angeboten bekommen. Seine Touren, die wir spontan auch mitgemacht haben, waren auch prima und haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich aufgewertet. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

• Maurice (10/5): - This property is perfect in every way. Apartment is very spacious and tastefully designed, and has a lovely view of the Old Town, which you can walk to easily. We had the two-bedroom apartment, which also had a room in the attic with a double bed that can be considered as the third bedroom. The place is fully equipped with a nice kitchen area, cooker, oven, dishwasher, utensils, washing machine, etc. They even provide you with bread, butter, jam, teas, coffee and condiments. Marko, our host, was very coomunicative and arranged our airport trasfers efficiently. Will definitely stay here again in the future and will also recommend it to our family and friends.

Marko is a generous host- there were plenty of coffee pods, dishwasher tablets and washing detergent!!! Such a bonus. Comfy beds and everything was fresh and clean Nothing!! Oh.. be prepared for some steps to the old town but it is Dubrovnik!

The WiFi wasn't great but Marco explained that he had done everything to sort it but this was definitely not a problem as we had things downloaded.

• Suzeng (7/5): Comfortable and clean stay but beware of steps. - Modern, clean and super comfortable. Had a living room with a bedroom that had great view into the old town and water which was amazing. 8 min walk to the old town downhill. Quiet and serene. The stairs. If you have heavy luggage like me you need to ask for help otherwise it's going to break your back moving in and out as you'll need to go up at min 40-60 steps. This is a frequent issue for all housing unless you stay in the old town itself which can be very busy and touristy.

Bardzo czysto, świetnie wyposażona kuchnia, wygodne łóżko, piękny widok z okna, świetny kontakt z wynajmującym Marko. Przyjechaliśmy późnym wieczorem, a na miejscu czekały na nas podstawowe produkty śniadaniowe, także nie musieliśmy się od rana tym martwić. Gorąco polecam! Nie było takiej rzeczy.

• andyjD7650XI (10/5): A true gem of an apartment - An amazing apartment just a short walk from the Pile gate entrance to the Old Town. Clean, tidy, looks newly refurbished to a high standard. Dubrovnik is on a hillside, so please expect a lot of steps no matter where you stay. There are about 145 steps down to the Pile Gate but the apartment is an absolute gem and well worth it. The views are amazing. Marko was an excellent host and the apartment was generously equipped with tea, coffee, bread and milk. Even a lovely complimentary bottle of white wine chilling in the fridge upon arrival. If you have mobility or fitness issues maybe this isn’t for you. For everyone else I would highly recommend due to location and the high standard of the accommodation.

Also being very helpful during our stay with tour options on Dubrovnik. Location is less than 5 min walk to old town. Heaps of cafe and restaurant options. Highly recommend the stay. With all the years of travel and accommodation stays I couldn’t fault anything about this property.

It was easy to connect Marko, he always in touch with us for any need. Rooms were clean and you have everything you need at home. Beaides they leave coffee, tea, wine, breakfast goods and some bread. Overall good. Location is good with some stairs as everywhere.

• Sini-anna (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was absolutely beautiful, exactly the way it looks in the photos. Perfectly clean, spacious and with modern appliances and amenities. We couldn't get enough of the stunning view from the window, overlooking the Lovrijenac Fort. The location was perfect, very calm and cozy but only 5min walk to the Old Town and Pile Harbor. Marko was an amazing host, very friendly and always available, always making sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. He even managed to arrange an early check-in for us at the peak of high season which we really appreciated. We will definitely book again if we're ever back in Dubrovnik!

It is clean and has everything needed. The host, Marko, was helpful and very accomodating of all our needs. There were not many available TV channels, but we were not in Dubrovnik to watch TV, I'm trying to find some negatives of an excellent accomodation.

Comfortable, well equipped, convenient 5 minute walk into the old town. The old stone building means it is naturally cool when you return on a hot day, but there is also air conditioning. Very helpful and accommodating hosts. The walk back up the steps each evening! But it's really not that far.

The views were spectacular, and there was also a bakery and grocery store steps from the apartment which was really convenient—especially for our first morning there.

We also had a nice view of the old fort from our window. It was a very good place to stay to experience Dubrovnik!. We really liked everything about the apartment. it was very spacious and similar to staying at an Airbnb. There are no services like there is at a hotel. I understand that this type of setup is fairly common in Dubrovnik

• Laura (10/5): A fantastic 3 night stay in Dubrovnik! - Spacious apartment with a super well equipped kitchen! Comfy Bed and felt well looked after, very modern and loved the tall ceilings. The best part is definitely the view from the window, can’t be beaten! Marko who manages the property is super accommodating and responsive to messages, he even took us on an evening tour of the city & provided a complimentary bottom of wine! 2 tiny improvements - as a British girl I would have loved some breakfast tea bags. We also could have benefitted from more shower jel being provided for our 3 day stay. Super small details, everything else was perfect :)

The apartment was spotlessly clean, all the equipment high quality, the bathroom excellent and the bed comfortable but the highlight had to be the view over Dubrovnik! The small patio was a lovely place to enjoy a cooling drink after a busy day exploring Dubrovnik. Marko, the owner, offers airport transfers and we were so glad we took him up on this offer. The older areas of Dubrovnik are a maze of small alleys and stairs with very few street signs , so finding your way is not easy. Marko took us straight to his apartment - just a short walk from the nearest road - so not far to carry luggage. From the apartment it is easy to walk into the old city via Pile Gate - lots of steps - but that's just part of the Dubrovnik experience ( although we did find a route back that was mainly on paths with very few steps!) We would most certainly stay in Cava Apartments again . Everything was perfect. Totally professionally run apartments but with a most welcome personal touch from the owner. A real find !

O apartamento é espetacular, tem todo o necessário e mais um pouco para uma estadia perfeita. Silencioso e central ao mesmo tempo, perto de todos os pontos turísticos, fizemos tudo a pé. Há alguns lances de escada para subir até o apartamento mas isso é em toda a cidade e com todas as acomodações. Amamos nossa estadia, voltaríamos a ficar nessa acomodação sem a menor dúvida.

Marko was an amazing host and welcomed us warmly - very efficient and friendly. The apartment had everything we needed with an amazing bathroom and spectacular sea-views out the window to the fort. We loved our time in Dubrovnik and highly recommend Cava Apartments as a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful view of old city, walls and sea. Transportation was also arranged, very smooth. Not a dislike but noteworthy.......there are 206 stairs from the old city street entrance to the apartment. Don't forget anything ;-)

• thedearmans (4/5): A lovely apartment but beware of the steep steps. - The apartment is really nice and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Marko, the owner is a lovely guy and was very apologetic when we checked out after 3 days when we had booked and paid for 7. What we didn't know was that there are so many very steep and uneven steps to get anywhere. I am 80 years old and my husband 82 and consider ourselves fit and in good health for our ages. But these steps defeated us so we moved to a hotel, by the sea which was a 20 minute bus ride from the old town.

The location was very good for visiting town and there was a bakery and food shop just up the road. Marko, our host, was great, very attentive and always available with advice, responding very quickly. We booked a sunset tour with him which we recommend. So glad we booked this apartment. We would come again tomorrow if we could. 😊
• Ran (10/5): Exceptional - The location is superb! Steps away from the old town and lots of stores (convenient store, bakery, cafe and etc.) nearby. The unit has probably the best view in Dubrovnik and the design is super cool! It has everything you need - kitchen, laundry machine. It’d be great for long term stay as well. We enjoyed the stay and Marko’s hospitality so much! Marko is very helpful and always responsive. Highly recommend!!!

Such nice quality, and very calm and luxurious with high ceilings (studio flat 1). I wish we could have stayed longer. V easy to get to old town. Everything was lovely.

Fashionable but with care to maintain the historical elements like stone walls, doors and shutters. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. But the best features were the great views of the old town and fortress and the very trrrrrrr location close to old town and to many restaurants and attractions.
