Lori (6/5): - I was just staying for one night. I didn’t realize it was located beside a bar. I am a light sleeper. I know the hotel can’t control the noise. I heard bar noise at first then someone’s tv until 2am. I had to wake up at 4am. Needless to say I didn’t get much sleep. I will give it another try because now I know what to expect and it’s close to what I need it for.

Verified traveler (8/5): Its ok if you have no other place to stay. - Photo in the office shows the hotel circa 1965. My room had the exact furnishings as the room in the photo. The. Exact. Furnishings. Only the bar/restaurant next door for a meal. Food was average small town fare. Pillows were those small ones that have been washed a million times. Bed was comfortable enough. Seriously, it would be a cute hotel if they would put some money into it. There was a sign in the office proudly stating that it was family owned since 1960. Which means it should have been paid off by 1990.
Heather (2/5): - The hotel was given an 8.0 rating which is ridiculous. Obviously that is artificial because there is no way that people staying there would give it an 8.0 rating. It should have something below 3.0. It smelled so bad in the room and there was no way to air it out because you couldn't open the window. There was an air conditioner in there that was so disgustingly full of mold and mildew and kept blowing air through that mildewy air conditioner into my room during the night. Even though it was 58° outside, I was not able to turn it off. Plus, the surfaces of all the furniture was sticky and disgusting and I didn't want to touch it. The only thing good is that the refrigerator seemed clean. I would have left but I didn't have another place to go and I was driving away the next morning. I was so happy to leave as early as I could. I had a terrible night's sleep and I would never stay there again. If it only cost me $40. I still would have thought it was a bad deal but I paid almost $100 for that disgusting room. It smelled like there used to be a smoking room and then they decided it was going to be non-smoking but the stale cigarette smoke still hung in the air plus that disgusting air conditioner which was just pumping foul smelling air into the room all night. On Yelp it only has positive reviews plus that 8.0 very misleading rating. So it makes me not trust, Yelp or any reviews.

The only idsue was i walk with a cane and someone had all the parking spots filled by my room. I just had to walk a little but it was rather inconsiderate for other guests to use other than their own parking place.

There was no breakfast room and since we were on the 2nd floor, it would have been too difficult to carry breakfast to our room so we didn't eat any breakfast. Quiet,pet friendly,lots of room to walk the dogs, had picnic table and charcoal grills, which I would use if I stayed again in warmer weather months. We had a simple,double bed room, with a desk,charging station,TV, fridge, microwave,coffeepot.I accidentally locked us out of our room when the door closed behind me upon checking in. The key had been left for us at the office in an envelope, as we arrived after office hours,and just be aware, the office is not staffed 24 hours, so I checked at the restaurant / bar next door, and they contacted someone who came and let us in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Deb (10/5): Great room for an affordable price - Older, family owned motel. The room was clean and had lots of furniture. There was a rocking chair, 3 upright chairs, a small dining table, a long series of wooden furniture. There was also a coffee maker, microwave, fridge and iron, ironing board. It has everything needed to live here for a few days. It was a good value.

We arrived lately than we planned and they waited for us and then the next day when we went to check out I forgot something in the hotel room and they got it back to me before I even realized I forgot it. Kate (4/5): - I visit this area annually and the first time I stayed here was alright. This time I reserved a room with two beds. My bed, to my surprise and disgust, had little bugs that started to jump on me after a couple of minutes laying there. I checked the corner of the sheets but didn’t find anything to lead me to think there would be a problem. Fortunately the other bed, that my daughter was sleeping in, seemed bug free. I was very disappointed and hope not to encounter something like that in the future.

It's not fancy, but the room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, the price was fair. The staff was friendly and there's a bar / restaurant next door that offers a discount for guests. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Arianna (10/5): Third visit & I'm finally leaving a review - This was my third time staying at Cianci's & I am as happy as I was the last two times. It's a qaint little place, nothing fancy really but plenty comfortable. My best friend originally picked it last year when we went out to see my family and because we loved it so much, we came back later for Christmas. This last time I came out for a family emergency & was able to book a room for two nights with a day's notice. I also came out with my boyfriend this time, who was just as pleased as my best friend & myself with the place. The only downside I can mention is that this unit's door was a little wonky with locking; this isn't something I experienced previously with two non smoking rooms, so I suspect this means that the smoking rooms either get more usage, have perhaps "rougher" guests sometimes, or a mixture of both. We let the front desk know when we left, so I do expect that has already been remedied. My bf & I didn't mind having to be particular with it, but I'm sure if we had let them know the first day, it would have been taken care of or otherwise accommodated. The staff is always so friendly. We'll definitely be back!
Bruce (10/5): Off the beaten path Hidden Gem - We rented here as a base from which to go find a good eclipse viewing site in Western PA. Turned out that with the well-maintained open picnic areas, clear sky view, and nice walking trails behind the property (and all for motel guests only), it was a perfect spot for us and our dog to watch the eclipse, shared with only a few other people. With lots of parks and natural areas, hiking, biking, flat-water kayaking possibilities nearby, we plan to return!
