• Amina (10/5): - Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel. Le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse, toujours attentif et disponible. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, servi avec une vue splendide. L’emplacement est idéal et l’établissement, à la fois propre et typique, offre une vue imprenable sur les magnifiques montagnes d’Imlil. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation !

• Daniel (10/5): - The best part was the extremely hospitable hosts. Hassan and his family team was always at our beck and call to make sure we had everything we needed and didn't charge us for tea or soup--delicious, hearty harira. We appreciated the well-done decor, traditional but stylish, and enjoyed the tranquility, the spectacular view of the mountains and the starry sky above visible from the balcony and rooftop. The only thing we didn't like was the remoteness, a long walk from town with facilities like shops and restaurants, which makes it inconvenient if you don't have your own vehicle.

• Roderick (9/5): Superb - Hassan (the owner) & his family are all very helpful & they can arrange professional guides for your treks. There are fantastic views of the Imlil valley from the terrace & the location is perfect for numerous local walking trails. You can leave stuff at the Lodge if you're heading off for a few days to Toubkal. The food is great, too The lodge is a 40 minute walk up the road from Imlil (taxis are reluctant to take you), but this is no problem if you're carrying a rucksack.

• Mark (5/5): Passable - Decent size rooms, felt secure, nice roof terrace, fine as a base for hiking for a couple of nights, basic accommodation reflecting the price. Whilst the linen seemed clean, the bedding and pillows didn’t feel that way. The hinges on the doors all need oiling as they are very creaky.
• Mireille (6/5): Quirky and friendly - Quirky and friendly hotel in the heart of the Atlas Mountain. The local guide devised a gentle itinerary for our group but could have easily walked us to the top of the Toubkal, the highest Atlas peak. The hotel was on the edge of town and some people might prefer to be more in the centre of things. We had a car but parking access was so tight you certainly didn’t fell like messing up with that.
• Ward (9/5): Superb - The breakfast was a great Moroccan breakfast. Really good! We also were served a traditional tagine dinner which was some of the best I've had in Morocco.
• Zeaaje (1/5): The Careless Woman - During my 10 minutes living in this lodge on 30th/12/2023 at 14:07pm . I liked Mr Hassan for his greetings. . Well, we were a group of friends (2 males-2 females), driving all the way from Tetouan to Imlil, more than 10H road trip to spend a beautiful night in this lodge as we expected. HOWEVER, our expectations were truly down.. On 28th/12/ 2023 I booked 6 bunk beds room, one night for 30th-31st/12/2023 because I couldn't find on booking two separated twin rooms. My first negative observation was after I booked, I sent them a message they didn't reply back. I had two reservations one for 30th and other one was on the 31st in Essaouira. I sent two messages to the places where will would be staying, after 5 hours Essaouira The BerBer Hostel replied back with a heartfelt and warm welcoming message. However, The Imlil Lodge no reply back. On 29th / 12 / 2023, I called a number the one that I have on my email address in the confirmation email. I called him he didn't give me until 2 minutes from his time to talk about the reservations, what he said "I am going to send you a number in SMS message you can call her for the reservation". I accepted his impolite, rude pre-treatment. I waited 2 hours, he sent me nothing. I phoned him back he didn"t pick up, after 10 minutes he sent me a number I called her she said a cold welcome. I felt it in my deep heart. In the first hours of Saturday's morning, we went out from Tetouan towards Marrakech, and we arrived at 8am, we had a beautiful healthy breakfast in the centre of the city and we moved to a beautiful garden just to wait for the 14h to enter the Imlil Lodge. We were dead sleepy because we couldn't sleep during the road trip. We were at 14:07pm in the Imli Lodge place, Tired, dead a sleep people, and frustrated with the off-road due to the earthquake effect. We met Hassan, he said "you are 4 people in the 6 bunk beds room" we answered "positive", he said "do.you have a marriage paper ?" We said no we are friends.

The food was absolutely delicious The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay. The staff members were not only professional but also exceptionally kind, making every interaction a pleasure. Overall, I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a top-notch holiday retreat

• Irene (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing beautiful accommodation, the room was big, with a very comfortable bed, 4 pillows oh we slept so well, very nice view to the mountains, but the best of it the staff, they are so welcoming and kind, when we checked we were a little hungry and we were looking for a restaurant, they had already closed the kitchen and since a restaurant near by was already closed, they quickly prepared something to eat for us anyway, while inviting us a beautiful tea. I would recommend this place a hundred times, the best stay in Morocco so far. Everything was perfect
• Irina (10/5): Excellent choice for staying in/near Imlil! - It is a lovely place, very peaceful and welcoming. The lodge is located right next to the Imlil village but enjoys quieter surroundings. Great base for hiking in the mountains. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Our double room was cosy and clean. The food was excellent, and we can highly recommend having a nice home-made dinner directly at the lodge. We enjoyed our stay very much and would be happy to come here again!
