Many fun details with decorating and accommodations. Absolutely would stay again. We didn't love the starched sheets but know many people do and this a unique feature some would greatly appreciate. For our taste, the pillows were too thick and stiff.

- Russell (4/5): - The property with somebody who took a motel, gave it a paint job through a picture on the wall thought it was really a cool mid-century look nothing like the things I’ve encountered in Palm Springs or other places where they put a lot more money into the rooms and the furnishings and the comfort. It just looked like a motel where they ripped out the carpet and tried to make it look something special, but to me it was absolutely underwhelming. If I knew what it was, I would’ve never reserved.
- Stacey (4/5): - I was excited to stay here and initial communication was great. Had requested a ground floor room due to mobility and received a msg back several days before our arrival that they had it all taken care of. Unfortunately when we arrived they had us upstairs and there were no more double rooms which is what I had booked. They then were going to give us 2 rooms, 1 upstairs and 1 down but only after I had told him the one bed would not work. We really wanted to stay together so ended up with a rollaway bed which really aren't meant for adults. I went in the next morning and talked to the manager who apologized and said she would look and see how she could compensate us for the issue. Seemed nice but never heard a word again. All on all a very frustrating and disappointing experience. As for the room, it was clean. The bed is VERY firm, like caused body parts to fall asleep firm. The rollaway was short but the mattress was better. There was hair stuck to the blankets we were given for the rollaway, not pleasant to see. The pillows were quite fat, though one they brought for the rollaway was nice. The shower had decent water pressure though we struggled at first to figure out how to get the water hot, it's the button on the handle if you have that one that does it. The shower gel smelled and felt wonderful. AC is LOUD and rattles. Granola truly is as good as everyone says. Lots of yogurt flavors and muffins. If we had received the room we booked it would have been an ok stay.

I saw some reviews on it being louder, I could see how if it was crowded that could be, but we stayed on a weekday and it was not crowded, and silent. Right next to a nice park. Main parking lot was easy, and they have an overflow if needed.

I would reccomend to anyone looking for a n - Cute and fun atmosphere, unique design, comfortable room, very friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful outdoor garden/patio area. Everything was clean and functional. A cat came and visited my partner and I while we were eating breakfast outside in their outdoor hangout area. I don’t know if this was the hotel cat or not but I appreciated the visit. The included breakfast was only granola, yogurt, and some fresh fruit, which were all very good but I didn’t expect it to be so limited. Not necessarily a fault but the only thing that didn’t live up to my expectations. Not the most filling breakfast, so next time I would plan for that.

The staff removed the painting when I asked them to, especially as I was traveling with my two young kids. But that was highly unexpected and will honestly probably prevent me from booking here again.

I then asked Matt for a pack and play for the baby to sleep in, and he promptly fetched it. Tried to tip him, and he refused to accept. Continental breakfast was nice too. The hotel is right by a very nice park, and a block from beautiful gardens and a few more from the city center.

We were also able to walk to dinner the night before. The room was clean with a comfortable bed & a coffee maker. We never saw housekeeping, but we were easily able to fetch some fresh towels from the front desk staff.

I loved my morning elevated continental breakfasts & visiting with the staff. Very friendly. The Only reason I didn't give 5 stars, was that the tub drain was Super slow & the front door lock required 2 hands to unlock. I let the staff know. :)

I’d probably switch out the comforter for something lighter in the hot summer… encourage window opening instead of noisy air conditioner…needs body lotion.

- Emily (10/5): Cool refurbished motel with affordable rates in a convenient Sonoma location - Great decor and landscaping, cozy outdoor spaces for hanging out, nice breakfast , bike storage and friendly staff! The hotel is near a park and a lovely bike trail and right across the street from the historic Luther Burbank gardens. Nothing we didn’t like

- Linda (10/5): Clean, comfortable retro - Love this cute little hotel when we're traveling to Santa Rosa for medical visits. Got a textured top sheet that was a bit clingy this time, but the beds are comfortable, bathroom clean, and a nice continental breakfast awaits in the morning!
- Matthew (10/5): Great Revamped Model - Recommended!!! - Great revamp of an old motel. Rooms are comfy and clean. Great fire pit. Walkable to the town center and other cool areas. Great breakfast restaurant across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
- Thomas (9/5): Lovely place to stay in Santa Rosa - The property is really nicely furnished, the staff are really nice and the general room elements are high quality (Casper pillows, nice decor, waterfall shower). Aircon and general amenities in room were good. Hits a really nice sweet spot of chic, comfortable and not too expensive. Hard to access hot water for tea / coffee. No kettles or anything in rooms. You can get hot water in the lounge but this is only open till 10pmish and you have to ask someone for it. Reception closes at 10pm and doesn’t seem like there is an overnight person (only an emergency number to call), in this day and age is a little strange and we weren’t aware before arriving (fortunately we arrived before 10pm) No real food facilities on site, just a simple breakfast in the morning (but it was nice, they do also seem to have a nice partner restaurant)
- Junko (10/5): Clean, comfortable stay with friendly staff! - This place must be just built! Air conditioning, bed, shower and bathroom… everything was super new and clean!!! Breakfast was so good with a lot of fresh produce from their own garden. Location was close from downtown.

- Linda (10/5): Delightful boutique motel in lovely Santa Rosa near downtown - Vintage delight and well appointed boutique motel with a fun staff and good breakfast. Well positioned near downtown Santa Rosa’s restaurants and shops.

- Robert (10/5): Nice retro motel - Nice retro motel. Basic amenities. Comfortable. The heated/AC is very noisy but functions well.
- Julia (10/5): Mid Century Modern stylish motel - A beautifully maintained, clean, comfortable motel. The decor was a wonderful shout out to mid century modern style, and elegance. The bedroom was extremely comfortable, the light breakfast was excellent - yoghurt, granola (locally sourced) fruit, delicious coffee. Good location, 10 minute walk from Downton. We would definitely stay here again.

- Linda (10/5): Personality plus in a central location - Had a great stay while my husband was a patient at a nearby hospital. Very clean, quiet and comfortable, and it was nice to have the option of housekeeping as often as you want/need it. Centrally located for easy access to shopping, restaurants, parks and hospitals.

- Cushing (10/5): Slice of Sonoma - Great hotel/motel, very cozy, comfortable and great outdoor space. Breakfast was fresh and amazing, well stocked. The location is great, walk to the park or downtown. Will definitely visit again.
- Jan (8/5): - Clean and wonderful sense of design. The outside area which is very nice is difficult to enjoy due to street noise.
