• PetraSK (10/5): Buena calidad/precio y tranquilidad - Un lugar muy céntrico, tranquilo, con habitaciones alrededor de un patio grande interior, donde descansar del calor de día, café de cortesía y amabilidad de sus dueños. Repetiría! No hay llave de la puerta del acceso, si alguien volviera más tarde, tendría que despertar a la señora.

• Alice (9/5): - The hosts/owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, even in my very broken basic Spanish they were very patient and helped organise my laundry for a very good price and helped me with photocopies that I needed for my shuttle to El Salvador. The location was very good also, literally 5 minutes away from the white cathedral and really easy to walk to the main museums, places to eat etc. I liked the courtyard which was nice and felt fresher to sit in during the hot days rather than staying in the room. The area was quiet and I had many peaceful sleeps which was important to me as I was working remotely EU hours. Internet worked fine for my work (video calls, emails etc. Included). When I first arrived there were a couple of mosquitos in the room but on the second/third day I think they did a fumigation and I didn't see any mosquitos in the room after that which was good for me. The size of the room was perfect for me and I found that the storage available was really well thought out and there was more than adequate space to place my belongings and hang my stuff. It is very hot, so if available pay extra for Aircon as it was still very hot with the fans, although I was able to sleep once the sun went down and it got a little cooler. All the rooms face the inner courtyard so I did have small ants and a small lizard which kept visiting my room from time to time, but this didn't bother me!

• Laura (7/5): Great location but a bit too hot to sleep - The staff were really friendly & the location was brilliant, not far from the main cathedral square but quiet. I was very hot in the room at night, the fan gave little relief and my bathroom in the room didn’t have a door on. The latter didn’t cause a huge problem but I’d have preferred a door.

Creo que hace falta el contacto con los clientes. - El lugar es limpio, la anfitriona un poco fuerte el tono de voz para con los clientes, su manera de hablar pareciera que te estan haciendo un favor ppr alejarte. El señor muy amable, la señora no tanto. También por pague 15$ extra por el aire y no incluia el desayuno por ese precio en otros hostales incluye el desayuno. La manera en que habla la anfitriona pareciera que te hace un favor por el alojamiento El precio sin incluir el desayuno no es justo. En otros hostales con ese precio lo incluye Eramos 3 personas adultas y solo nos dio 2 toallas para el baño Poca ropa de cama para la otra cama estaba como incompleta y solo tenía una almohada En Fin creo que por lo limpio y céntrico volvería si no encontrara otro lugar

• Philip Andrey (10/5): Ótimo Custo Benefício - A equipe é muito simpática, e claramente é um empreendimento familiar. O quarto é amplo e confortável. Deve-se pagar um extra caso queira usar o car condicionado, mas tratava-se de um período de noites frescas, e foi desnecessária a refrigeração. Sua localização é ótima, e se trata de um excelente custo benefício.

• Coto Solano (10/5): Estadía perfecta: cómoda, accesible y con excelente atención - Me encantó mi estadía. La ubicación es excelente, con fácil acceso a todo lo necesario en León, lo cual hace que moverse sea muy cómodo. El lugar es acogedor, tranquilo y bien cuidado. Además, los dueños fueron sumamente amables y atentos en todo momento, lo que hizo la experiencia aún más especial. Un gran punto a favor es que aceptan pagos con tarjeta, algo que definitivamente facilita mucho la estadía. Realmente no tengo aspectos negativos que destacar. Todo cumplió e incluso superó mis expectativas.

Bij bijboeken wellicht vragen of er een schoonmaak nodig is. Vond zelf het bed wat hard en ventilator was echt noodzaak (maar daardoor ook geluid in de nacht). Ze hebben de deur vol geplakt met "regels". Kan wat onvriendelijk/streng overkomen.

Ventilation in my room was not great, the room was hotter all night then outside my room. Fan helped a little bit. There was a bright light outside the room so I had to keep the shade over the window which affected ventilation and kept the room hotter. I think this is probably specific to my room. I think in general, they should not keep you from staying here.

• Gerald (8/5): Gute Adresse für einen Aufenthalt in Leon - Gut geführte Casa. Sehr gute Lage, sauber und komfortabel. Eigentlich nichts. Die Richtlinien sind für mittelamerikanische Verhältnisse ein wenig streng. Ausgecheckt wird erst, nachdem das Zimmer kontrolliert wurde. Beim Check-In wurde ich gleich darauf hingewiesen, dass ich das 3. Bett nicht nutzen dürfe. Komisch, da ich ja ein größeres Zimmer gebucht und auch dementsprechend bezahlt hatte. Ein relativ kleines Handtuch für 2 Nächte entspricht nicht dem Standard des Hauses. Hätte auf Nachfrage jedoch sicher eines bekommen.

• Roy (10/5): Very recommendable; will definitely book again if I return to Leon, no doubt about it. - The location is excellent, just 2 blocks down the big cathedral. The hostal itself is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing; a spacious, well attained garden, with many places to sit/work/relax; the rooms draped all around it. A big plus for smokers; you don’t have to go onto the street, but just enjoy your ritual in the garden. There’s free coffee & drinking water available all day. The room itself is basic, but everything you need, and complemented by the garden. The fan inside is as required, very powerful. Also the woman who owns/runs the place is truly wonderful! 😊 she has a great presence, is friendly, easy going, and super helpful when u have any questions or need assistance. She made me smile.

In vielen Bewertungen die ich vor der Buchung gelesen habe, steht dass Marixa die Inhaberin unfreundlich sei. Das kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe sie als sehr freundlich, zuvorkommen und mit dem Herz am richtigen Fleck erlebt. Man merkt dass sie ihren Job schon lange macht und sehr viel Erfahrung hat. Nichts

• Amanda (7/5): The rooms are apparently very different - I stayed in a double room for a couple of nights and loved it, so i came back for the single room. The difference between the rooms were huge. This single room looked kinda dirty with black colors on the white wall, the bed had a whole and thus made it uncomfortable. Also the smell was not great. I'd still recommend you to stay here as the staff is amazing, the location is great and everything was fine. Just keep in mind that the rooms might be different.

The lovely rooms are built around a really attractive, shady garden with lots of seating and tables. Everything is clean and well maintained. • Eade (10/5): - Everything was great and as advertised. I mistakenly used the kitchen but the host was gracious in allowing me to finish cooking my meal. The host was also helpful in giving me instruction on local bus routes from Leon to Granada. Nothing, everything was great.

• David (10/5): Super friendly welcoming place with amazing value in terms of accommodation - I think they were so welcoming the family. And the room I thought was of a really good standard considering the price. It was well maintained and clearly been recently painted. The bed was comfortable. It was a spacious enough room. And the shower was fine. I had a good pressure on it. Of course for the price you pay you need to recognise that the shower is cold water there’s no warm tap.

• Paul (8/5): Pretty good value for money for a short stay close to the center - location is good, service is friendly and facilities are decent. You can store luggage as well. Overall pretty good value for money. The rooms face an inner courtyard so you'll wake up early morning by the annoying phone-usege of other people. Especially Nicas have all the possible sounds on their phones enables, so be prepared for some lovely beeps and tunes around 7am.

• Emily (3/5): Poor - It was reasonably priced for a large private room with a bathroom. Short walk to the Central Park area and cathedral. The staff were not very friendly. My friend was leaving his bags in my room for a couple hours before he headed to the airport and they would not even let him go in the room. When we came back we went in for about 1 second and they pounded at the door saying we’d have to pay $15 extra. (Double the price). It was ridiculous as he wasn’t planning on staying and it just felt very hostile and unwelcoming.
