Matiaskp (1/5): - I booked a room in this hotel following the good reviews and when I arrived I regretted instantly The room I booked it was called "double deluxe" with a bath , what a joke. It was a very ugly, basic and dirty room. As soon as I walked in there was a cockroach 🪳 dead on the floor. The look of the room was creepy honestly and when I went to the bathroom I noticed that the toilet seat was full of pee marks, ,disgusting. I informed the lady about it and she offered me a second room which was quite in the same bad condition but according to her they both were clean 🙄. Then she offered me a third option with 3 singles beds which it didn't make sense to me as it wasn't what I booked. . Ultimately, we agreed on canceling the reservation and I left . It was already late for me to find another place but fortunately I found a nice guesthouse near by in a much better conditions and cheaper.. In summary,I dont understand the good reviews and I can not recommend this place at all

Viacheslav (10/5): We'll come again - We had a comfortable night with a toddler in a two-bed room after a long day of travel. The property exactly matched the photos on Booking.com. It was a corner room with one side facing the terrace and a window offering a mountain view. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the hostess was nice and friendly. One minor point for potential enhancement would be to look at the public door leading to the second floor, as it could be modified to reduce noise. This didn't detract from our otherwise pleasant stay.

Rui (10/5): Cozy stay in Telavi: amazing degustation! - The hosts are amazing! We loved the wine, cognac, and tarragon chacha degustation. This created a nice environment and we got to meet other fellow travelers staying at the same guest house. The owners were happy seeing us all having fun. The garden is beautifully arranged and with plenty of space to sunbathe a little after sunrise. Location is great and, though relatively central, you have serene peace and quiet. The view of the mountains is beautiful. We didn't like the strong bright light coming in from the inner garden that is still on during the night hours. It's a bright white, almost blue light that's installed under porch to illuminate the pavement outside along the wall of the house. The light is strong, white almost blue. It could be weaker and warmer (2700 K temperature would do). Though our room had good, thick drapes, that light still comes in through the edges: the drapes had to be wider some 10-20 cm on both left and right ends: so as to cover the light completely. Maybe we're a little picky about having complete darkness in the room for good sleep. Despite my long description here, this was a minor minus point. It can be easily fixed by the owners by turning those outdoor lights off after, say, 22:00. That said, I suppose the outdoor lights are on as a safety measure to help the guests who, perhaps already a little unsure of their steps, are accessing this part of the house late at night. So it may be more appropriate to replace the lamp with something warmer (2700 K would be perfect) and less intense, and also get wider drapes. When checking out, I found an electric board outside on a wall on another part of the house which perhaps had a switch for these lights -- our stay was short anyway, maybe for a longer stay I'd have asked the owners to consider switching that lamp off after 22:00.
Erik (7/5): OK for a stopover - Very quiet, nice backpacker-style crowd in the hotel. The garden seems very nice (but we did not use it - it was just a stopover for us). Very kind owner who greeted us with wine, but did not speak English so it was all a bit awkward. Easy to park. Altogether, we were not impressed. We did not get the room we booked (no view, three separate beds instead of double), we did not get breakfast although it was advertised, and the beds were not very comfortable. More or less clean but not spotless. And it's quite far to walk from the centre (15 min).

Not the cleanest place I've stayed... There was a strange smell in the room - kind-of old and damp. Not so pleasant! The sheets seemed very old too, and the bed wasn't the comfiest. Room gets very bright early in the morning.
Kate (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible stay at Hotel Classic. The family that runs it is simply amazing. Greeted with all homemade wine, chacha, and cognac any time we wanted! After a tour of wine country we added an extra day and it was no problem at all. The view from the property is stunning as well with a nice patio to enjoy it from.

I had to go to the hospital and they were very kind to call and enquire for me and also give me a lift there. the room was wonderful, super comfortable bed, extremely clean and very well utilated. Everything was perfect! Make sure you do the vineyard tour with George the driver the recommend - we had an amazing time with him!

It was easy to find the house and the parking lot was available. The surroundings are quiete. We had very simple room, just for 1-night sleep. It was very clean. The bathroom is comfortable, clean. Guests can use common terrase equiped with 2 tables and chairs with a great view. The host were very welcoming, treated us with vine. We bought a bottle and the vine was really good. I recommend for a short stay. Actually nothing. Well, maybe the sound-prooffing could be better as in the morninig we could hear other quests walking in the corridor.

Joanne (10/5): Beautiful Garden Home - Great homestay for a wonderful value in Telavi. The hosts were the highlight of our trip. They were outside waiting our arrival and promptly showed us our room. Throughout our time, I saw them hosting people for wine tasting and snacks til late at night. Since we only had a couple of days to go sightseeing we didn't have enough time to spend with the hosts. I wish I did and would love to come back to spend more time in their home and garden.
