• David (10/5): Extraordinary inn in an extraordinary place - I’ve stayed at many nice places, but the Azamra Inn is in a different category. This is a special place. There are only two rooms and both are very private. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported back in time with the beautiful stone walls and vaulted ceilings. The room has all the modern amenities in a setting befitting the history of the city. The location was perfect. It was an easy walk to the old part of town and many of the historic sites, synagogues and art shops as well as the newer part of town with the restaurants. The most special part of this stay was the owner. He visited with me for about a half an hour when I first arrived. He explained the history of the inn and of his family’s journey to the region. This is definitely not the front desk clerk experience you might be used to no matter how pleasant the clerk was. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely stay here again when I return.

From having milk ready for our coffee to fresh fruit waiting for us, they truly went above and beyond. The place itself was immaculate and beautifully kept. The pictures honestly do not do it justice. It was even better in person. We felt completely comfortable and cared for throughout our stay and would absolutely recommend Azamra Inn to anyone looking for a top notch experience.

• Max (10/5): Exceptional - This place is housed in a beautifully renovated centuries-old stone home in the heart of the old city of Safed. The owners went out of their way to highlight the original charm and character of the historic structure while adding a tasteful modern touch, so you truly get the best of both worlds. It doesn’t feel like an old, musty house with a coat of paint, it feels fresh, bright, and clean, while still letting you soak in the mystical atmosphere that only Tzfas can offer. The space was meticulously clean, thoughtfully stocked with everything from condiments to personal care items. And above all, the hosts, Shlomo and his wife, are rare, special people. Pure Tzfas. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and completely taken care of, while still giving you full privacy. One of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had. Nothing

• Heather (10/5): To say this place is special is an understatement! - To say this place is special is an understatement. Unique, authentic, one-of-a- kind are some other words that come to mind. Incredible attention to detail in design. The owners are very special and warm loving people. I would give this place seven stars out of five if I could! You will need to traverse stairs down from the street level but that's all part of the intrigue for when you finally open the gate and realize you have arrived inside something a little like a fairy tale. Just bring one suitcase not two or three! I have visited well over 100 Airbnb's all over the world. I've stayed in probably close to a thousand hotels rooms. This place and these hosts are nothing like I have ever encountered.
• Stephanie (10/5): A magical, perfect stay - The property is stunning, like pulled from an issue Architectural Digest. The owners converted a stone home into a stunning courtyard guesthouse with all the modern amenities. It has high ceilings that make it expansive and airy. It’s beautifully decorated, with fresh flowers, warm textiles and small touches that enhance the original stone structure. They really thought of every single detail to make our stay comfortable. The bedding and linens are top quality, perfect for a good night’s rest after a day of sightseeing and there’s plenty of hot water and great pressure in the shower. The suite is equipped with a small kitchenette for eating easy meals. Again, anything you can want or need, they thought of it already. The courtyard is magical, with a centerpiece leafy olive tree that they planted themselves. Large pots with geraniums and other flowers surround a seating area, making for a lovely outdoor area to sit and relax. The upstairs terrace looks onto a breathtaking view of the mountains. This place is magical.

• A. (10/5): Better that what we had hoped for. We LOVED it! - This place is 10 out of 10!!! It is the best place we have ever stayed in. Clean, neat, well-designed, BEAUTIFUL, with many details all thought out. Comfortable beds. Plenty of pillows, Everything is new and in great condition. HOTEL-LEVEL room, right in the middle of the Old City of Tzfat. The bathroom is gorgeous. The lighting is perfect. There is an amazingly beautiful courtyard just outside of the room that you can sit in with tables and chairs. It is a shared area with the other room, but since there are only 2 rooms for guests . .to stay in, the courtyard was usually empty when we were there. A winding staircase leads to a a nice deck, with an incredible view of the surrounding area. Besides all of that, the hosts are amazingly special people: kind, friendly, helpful, available, and a pleasure to be around. For Shabbos there is a plata, clocks, tablecloth, candles, , etc. Everything you need,, even everything for havdalah. Location is great, too, close to everything you need. On the higher side of the Old City , not the middle or lower part. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY HERE IN THIS WONDERFUL PLACE. We will definitely be going back. NOTHING! THE PEOPLE AND THE PLACE WERE AMAZING!!!!
• Eric (10/5): - Shlomo and his wife have created a truly beautiful oasis in the Holy city of Tzfat. The property is beautiful and immaculate, with all one could need for a soul-refreshing stay. It's location is central to the old city of Tzfat, within a short walk to the artist galleries and many local restaurants and shops. My time there was relaxing and deeply restorative.
• Chana (10/5): 10/10 I highly recommend!! - Our host met us outside to make sure we knew where to park. The courtyard was shaded by a beautiful olive tree and had a spiral staircase to a porch overlooking the glorious mountains of Tzfat. The room was spotless and so tastefully designed, the shower had great pressure and everything smelled so fresh and clean. Breakfast was made with love and organic ingredients. Our host were attentive and warm, we left feeling like family.

Everything you need to make Shabbat is there. No Breakfast. Parking was a block away, limited parking closer on the street. It was hard to handle our bags on the stairs and cobblestone paths. Price was expensive, considering there was no breakfast included.

• Yossef (10/5): It is a beautiful room and space (garden and rooftop porch.) It was absolutely immaculate. - It was a beautiful, unique and cool space. The space was immaculate. The hosts were most accommodating and helpful. The room was stocked with everything we could possibly need, especially for Shabbat observers. The view on the rooftop porch was amazing. The only issue we had was the room had a musty smell, even though after being inside for awhile it dissipated. The wifi was also spotty, but the host made very effort to improve it.

The personal touch seems to be out of reach these days but Azamra is where it reappears. We met another propietor who said Azamra is without a doubt the best place to stay in the city.

The room had everything we could possibly need for Shabbat and more. The best part of our stay though, were the hosts, Shlomo and Talia. They made us feel so at home and made our stay in Tzfat truly unforgettable. They are very special people, and it was a pleasure to meet and get to know them. I can’t recommend the Azamra Inn enough. The facilities are incredibly clean, the owners are above and beyond nice, probably the most accomodating people I have ever met, with a joy for life and a desire to please! They thought of EVERYTHING, from large to small details...they literally did not miss a beat. The tzimmer wa impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, not to mention quite large and private. I would highly and unequivocally recommend and will be sure to go back! Nothing was missed!

• John (10/5): Azamra Inn was dreamy — Shlomo and Talia were amazing! - Azamra Inn in Tzfat is a five star inn because of its holy hosts, Shlomo and Talia. The care and prayer that goes into each guest is evident by everything you experience during your stay. Crisp, clean sheets, immaculate modern quarters, fruit and breakfast foods, thick, clean bath towels, a beautifully appointed courtyard and a literal rooftop experience only a few feet away. Every detail is thoroughly thought out. Shlomo was very willing to work with my husband to make my 60th birthday very special. He even picked up flowers and ordered a private driver to complete our visit. My favorite part of the inn was the conversations with the hosts, Shlomo and his wife. I promise you they are in another spiritual realm.The kindness and care they gave us made our trip to Tzfat one of the most memorable trips ever. Yes, when we go back to Tzfat, we will be at the Azamra Inn with Shlomo and Talia.

The neighborhood is densely packed so you do hear families and in the early morning men chanting/singing. During Shabbat it is brighter and noisier with the celebration— and it was something that I was happy to witness.

Warm helpful owners, Shlomo and Talia who welcomed us and even helped out with our laundry. We loved the beautiful courtyard and the comfortable upper terrace for sunset views and evening relaxation. There was not any housekeeping services.

Meeting him is a true gift and his spiritual enlightenment will feed your soul. He and Talia take so much pride in their inn and your stay will be unforgettable.
• Reinhold (10/5): - Azamra Inn is one of the loveliest places where my wife and I ever staid. Our room is part of an ancient building. It is newly renovated and has all modern features you need and want as a guest including coffee, tea, milk etc. It is tastefully furnished and very clean. The owners put a lot of thought into it. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Every place of interest is in walking distance. We used Safed as base for upper Galilee and Golan. It is a very nice retreat.
