Guest Reviews
- dean (2/5): - Worst motel in unity
- Laurel (4/5): - Even though it is old, can still be kept clean!
- Randall (10/5): - Its. an older property but maintained.
- Elaine (10/5): - Nice,comfortable and friendly.
My personal preference would have the restaurant open earlier for breakfast.
- Bonnie (4/5): Armada in Unity Saskatchewan - Room 33 no TV stations on TV. Msg said missing hdmi cable.
Room 34.
Controls for A/C stuck between bed and unit. Very noisy. Blows directly at bed.
Shower head in bathroom useless. Just like an open pipe.
Double Bed instead of queen.
Trim around shower falling apart.
Main dresser drawers set in room damaged and beaten.
Overall condition of room is sub-standard and in need of upgrading. Bang-for-buck -5.
Check in was very painful. Person at front desk was a wreck.
Motel needs a major upgrade. Even from the front parking lot it looks bad. A/C filters were taped to the umits and were falling off.
The only good thing about the Armada was the restaurant.
- Steve (8/5): - Clean rooms and good service.
- Mark (10/5): - Dated but clean with comfortable beds
- Lynette (6/5): - The ice machine was out of order by our room and the privacy lock was broke
- Rayel (4/5): - This property was completely overpriced. The rooms are extremely outdated. We received housekeeping the first morning and the second morning all they did was give us more towels. We ran out of toilet paper and when we called, they asked us to walk to the main office to grab more. There is also no breakfast included even though they have a buffet and every morning at the restaurant. The grounds have lots of garbage. I would my recommend unless you are desperate.
- Jerome (6/5): - inexpensive
- Mike (8/5): - Property was clean, quiet, and the bed was ok. Not the best bed I have ever slept on in a hotel, but I still slept ok.
- Brett (4/5): Not bad but not excellent - Rooms are big and clean, pillows were terrible just too big and bulky, sound barrier is lacking for the rooms and floor
A little pricey for what it is
- Darlene (8/5): Clean small town motel - Motel was clean. Somewhat dated but typical of smaller centre motels. No conditioner in shower kust shampoo. There was train noise from nearby tracks throughout the night.
- Darin (10/5): - Enjoyed the stay. The bed was excellent.
- Gerald (8/5): - Congested parking with all the big trucks
- Randy (10/5): - For a older property very well maintained.
- Rene (8/5): - 👍
- Jennifer (2/5): - There was a mouse poop on the bathroom floor, and blood on the sheets of one bed. The smoke detector was chirping in the middle of the night and I had to walk over to the office to get the after hours phone number to call to get someone to come to the room to deal with it.
- Keith (8/5): - Room was very clean and inviting! Great housekeeping staff. Very nice front office staff member
- Vanessa (8/5): Family trip - Spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable beds, wifi & tv worked well. The restaurant has limited hours. Pleasant staff with a quick check in. Will return when I am in the area. The pictures on the online are accurate to the room your booking.
- Karla (8/5): - Last at the desk was very welcoming and friendly. Room was simple and dated but clean. Building it self and area are not fancy and could use a refresh.
- Andrea (10/5): - Clean and pleasant stay. I should have brought earplugs though, the trains were busy. They didn’t blow their whistles, but it was still loud.
I don’t understand the restaurant though. It's so handy to have it attached but the hours were terrible. Closed on saturdays and not even open for breakfast until 11?!
- Jessie (10/5): - Great little motel, large, clean rooms. Comfy beds and crisp clean sheets. Great value and would stay here again.
- Jessica (6/5): - The staff were super friendly.
Room wasn't as clean as we hoped - there was hair around the toilet and sink and I had to kill a couple bugs that were on the wall.
Location is convenient and near a subway which is great for a quick bite! Unfortunately, the motel restaurant was closed both days we were there.
- Marie (8/5): Part of a week long road trip. - This time was a little disappointing as the room was not terribly clean. Otherwise, it was fine.
- DONNA (4/5): - Difficult to tell if it was clean, there’s a lot of brown in the room
- Dianne (6/5): - It was average
- Mark (8/5): - The manager was professional and courteous. The room was quite spacious and met our needs as we passed through.
- Michelle (10/5): - I loved that it was a quiet building
- Cara (10/5): - Excellent customer service and cleanliness. Would have been nice if the restaurant was open for breakfast.
- Garth (10/5): - Excellent little restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable.
- David (10/5): - Older building but no odors or unpleasantness. Freshly painted and clean and tidy. Price was reasonable. Walls were thin but building was fairly quiet the night we were there.
Check in was fast friendly and efficient.
- Janice (8/5): - It would have been nice to have a coffee bar . There weren’t many places to get coffee or a muffin.
When you check in, it would be a nice welcome.
- Michelle (10/5): - Very nice room. Very quiet. The shower was 10/10!
- Dianne (10/5): - The bed were quite hard and the guests next to us were quite loud the first night. But quiet the next night . We had issues with microwave and coffee pot. They brought us new ones right away. Good service
- Vanessa (8/5): Nice Motel - Pleasant stay. Comfortable beds, quiet, clean, good wifi & tv.
- Elaine (8/5): Good for a one night stay - Stay there for a family wedding. We like it that there is a restaurant on the premises. A bit pricey for such a small town.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We would like shampoo and conditioner in usable containers because the little plastic pouches could not be opened when in the shower. Also a hair blower would be nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was an older motel and some wear and tear of the rooms, but the staff was excellent.
- Ross (8/5): - Nice hotel in a small town. Very comfortable. Very clean and quiet
- Dana (10/5): - Good Customer service and a Clean Room. Great Price.
- JP (8/5): - Beds were extremely comfortable in a restaurant had excellent food and the Wi-Fi connection was good
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad. - The check in was easy, it's not bad for a hotel, the room however was freezing cold and they didn't provide any blankets. I was also placed in between 2 rooms of people that were there for a wedding. There were loud kids and drunk adults so it was very loud.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean , on-site restaurant and good location.
- Merv (8/5): small town motel - typical motel- clean-beds were comfortable- look like they have updated mattresses in last while- so they were firm and nice to sleep on. Towels and bathrooms need updating, but overall good for the price.
- ROBERT (10/5): - Nice little place good restaurant clean rooms
- Barb (10/5): Would Stay Here Again - Was impressed with cleanliness, friendliness and great food at this place on small town Saskatchewan !
- dee (10/5): Good - Staff was great and friendly and helpful but there was some very loud noises that was the building itself.....i enjoyed the restaurant and the staff in there although my 9 dollar sandwich didn't come with a side but otherwise I had a VERY pleasant time there
