• Luke (7/5): Very nice motel - Lovely place, good size TV, clean, nice room, comfy bed, great fridge, easy check in process, I really like this motel and town. The blinds let in a lot of light, (the outside lights are on pm) and some noise, you can actually see through them a little, it is a comfort, privacy and security issue. Very hard to relax and get a good night's sleep. I have travelled constantly for the past 18 months and if this place had curtains, it would be the best motel I have ever stayed in.

• Bob Linaker (7/5): A reasonable choice. - This is a typical small-town motel. Importantly, our room had a comfortable bed and the bathroom worked well. We were on the upper level which was OK for us. There were plenty of parking places, but we didn't get one close to our room. The table and chairs were old, and one chair was about to fall apart.
• Rhonda (8/5): Casual road side Hotel close to an event. - Grat location if going to Anita's Theatre. 5 min walk. Pleased that they have new blinds (last time we stayed they were all broken). But still could use curtains as they don't turn off the external lighting all night.

Love the bench space, wardrobe, crockery, cutlery etc. The fridge was dragging across the carpet but not a deal breaker.

• Paul (5/5): Disappointing compared to previous stays - The room (5) looks old w peeling paint in the bathroom and the walls in the bedroom showing age/ wear and tear around the bases . Don’t like the connecting door to the next room even though it was locked the noise traveled easily through. I’ve stayed here many times and loved it . Room 5 is not up to s scratch with the other rooms - very disappointing to be honest especially when the price was a lot higher than what I normally pay. May have to reconsider may patronage to be honest
• Paul (7/5): Great location, perfect for a short beach stay. - The Motel has a great "old feel" charm. The building from the outside is in original condition i.e. the era was red brick that hasn't been badly altered. The rooms are in varying states of refurbishment internally, plenty comfortable for our stay. Our bathroom had not been refurbished.
• Sophie (8/5): Great little place that worked perfect for us - Simple room had everything we needed. It was clean and spacious which was perfect for what we needed. Obviously not the hotel's fault but had children running and yelling down the front of the rooms at 7am.

• Gregory (8/5): Very comfortable stay and friendly staff, thank you - Comfortable spacious room, generous snacks, Weetbix etc. Good shower. Nothing apart from the location which isn't your fault! My husband has mobility issues and although the beach is very close he didn't want to cross the main road to get there.

• Sandra (3/5): We did have a wonderful mini vacation despite the disappointment in the accomodation. - The linen was crisp and white and clean and changed as required Being at the front of the hotel, it was a bit noisey being next door to a restaurant No outside common area as the room is small can be a bit claustrophobic It would of been nice to have a outdoor area The motel is definitely location We were seeing an event at Anita’s theatre and the yearly art festival was on so a bonus. It was really nice to know that the beach motel is a Sponcer of the event We had a wonderful mini vacation Despite disappointment in the accomodation It is clean and the location is great The motel itself is lost in the 70’s with 2026 prices Bathroom dated and need tlc and we thought the prices were high we have stayed in Sydney cbd for less with more. Would we stay there again maybe as the location is very central Thank you Sandra

• Hemara (10/5): Great stay & will stay here again. - The motel is old however it was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and had a king size bed plus a single bed. The bed was comfortable and I had a great sleep. There was also plenty of space to put your bags/suitcases. Parking was free and onsite in front of our room. Loved the keypad code entry to your room. Location was on point so close to the main shops, Anita Theatre and beaches. Surrounding suburbs were only minutes away by car. There were also a restaurants/cafe onsite. There was no extra pillows and no soap/niche in the shower for your soap/body wash to place. You had to leave on the floor in the shower. This really is not an issue.

The room was clean and comfortable and a good size. There were complimentary cereal and a good size fridge. The shower had poor water pressure and the shower curtain was mouldy. It was otherwise very clean.

The lights, TV, microwave, fridge, air conditioning, and bathroom fan all worked. It was good to have a kettle, toaster, crockery, and cutlery. We used the small dining table and chairs in the room. Good bench space to prepare breakfast and a great little kitchen sink to wash up the dishes we used. We could not park outside our unit. The entire car park was full of cars. The nearby restaurant patrons parked in the motel parking spaces. The carpet in the unit needs updating.

Restaurant attached to building is a great little spot to have a drink and dinner. Close to beach (but not right on the beach) Sink in bathroom is a bit small with no vanity space. Plenty of space elsewhere though.
