Guest Reviews
- Lenni (7/5): First time staying here. Checked in/out was easy. The room was clean, bed comfy and shower was good. We love the vie - The location, the view and staffs are friendly
- Michael (2/5): Very disappointing stay , worst ever, waste of money .! - Location Bed was hard as rock , pillows had zero head support , air con was noisy as and the driveway you have to go down to get to the room is not lit so in the massive fog they have you can’t see it .
We left early and drove home 😢😢.
- Paula (9/5): Just out of town - The view from the room was brilliant!
It wasn’t far from town but you can’t walk there either.
The room was spacious and comfortable for all 4 adults and a toddler.
The kitchen had what we needed with cutlery, a microwave, mini fridge and kettle being provided. The mattress needed some updating (it was worn and you could feel the springs quite a bit in some areas) and so did the toilet but it was functional.
- Lianne (6/5): Convenient and staff were lovely - Beautiful view A bit dated and could do with a few homely touches
- Adriana (9/5): -
- Jazmin (7/5): Lovely stay, bit dirty but the view was great - Stunning view Could have been a lot cleaner
- Mark (10/5): - Everything Na
- Beryl (7/5): Quite good. Nothing to complain about. - The lovely view from the window and back door. Quite a spacious room. Softer bed.
- Paul & Catherine (8/5): Clean quiet accom, village close to drive to. Missed no dining breakfast/dinner. Maintenance needed. - When visible from low fog, the view was beautiful. Quiet location very peaceful yet close to Maleny village. Clean spacious apartment with low comfy bed, dated furnishings, very basic. Maintenance issues in room - wobbly chair legs felt unsafe. Lounge has no support in base at all, well overdue for replacement. Light switch main lounge made buzzing noise when switching on. Bedroom fan no knob to use safely to turn on. No screen bedroom so couldn’t leave window open for any bugs entering. Beautiful views, very peaceful, lovely garden surrounds with close parking. Close to village for meals, with own vehicle.
- Emma (8/5): -
- John (7/5): -
- Kez (6/5): Large rooms - Large rooms and great views Not soundproof. Noisy kids both sides. Could hear footsteps and slamming doors easily.
- Elena (5/5): - Location was great! Definitely needs some work and renovation.
- Caroline (7/5): Excellent - Really appreciated being able to come in early so I could get ready for a wedding. I mistakenly didn’t book a twin share but they were really nice and changed it for me without any hassle
- Dawn (8/5): The view was the best part about this stay… - The views were exceptional. Very dated, no facilities in the kitchen considering it was a room for 6 guests. Very clean and tidy but very plain and uninviting.
- Roger (7/5): Really nice and pleasant stay - The most beautiful view
- Colleen (5/5): Good views - Location
- Richard (7/5): -
- Tara (8/5): -
- Ross (9/5): -
- Katie (8/5): Breath taking views and great location - The accommodation here was great, the staff were very welcoming and prompt. There was plenty of secured parking, the views were exceptional/breathtaking taking and the room was clean and supplied all the essentials. The location was only a short drive to town.
- India (10/5): -
- Peroth (9/5): The Staffs are really nice and kind especially Mr.Loyal. - Location and the view Have to carry the plates from reception, spider nets outside the room at balcony which needs good cleaning , to enjoy the view.
- Krisztina (9/5): -
- Louise (8/5): -
- Tracee (7/5): -
- Kathryn (8/5): - Scenery was gorgeous, lovely staff The rain lol
I think the rooms need sumthing to cook on when restaurant isnt doing meals. There was only 1 bbq at front of reception area for everyone to use
- Matthew (8/5): -
- David (7/5): -
- Lynne (5/5): -
- Amandaaus (9/5): Great view, good value, nice staff - The was excellent, full view of the Glass House Mountains and cows in the paddock. The room was basic but big and clean. Staff are very helpful and happy to help with anything. Bed was comfy. If you are expecting a fancy modern place it's not for you. If you want a quiet get away with a great view then it is :)
- Ian (8/5): -
- Aaron (10/5): The short time I spent at the property was blissfully peaceful and quiet. Will definitely be going back - Staff were friendly and polite
- Pornwara (9/5): Cosy with view! - The location is perfect. The room was cosy, spacious and got a perfect view from bed!
- Eugene (10/5): -
- Nicole (9/5): - The views were amazing, staff friendly we would definitely come back n stay again
- Luciano Ap. (9/5): -
- Farzaneh (8/5): Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend it. With a bit of bathroom renovation, it would easily - The location was excellent with a beautiful view, and the place was very clean. The receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming. We originally booked a unit with one ensuite, but she kindly upgraded us to a unit with two ensuites, which made our stay much more comfortable. The bathroom needs some renovation. The door wasn’t working properly, and the toilet and sink felt quite old and worn. Also, having a coffee table and a mirror in the bedroom would make the unit even more convenient.
- MacKenzie (10/5): -
- Ellen (9/5): Nice room with an incredible view. - The view was incredible. Hotel room was very clean and very open. It was so nice to sit out on the balcony and look out over the mountains. The bed was a little uncomfortable. Putting a foam topper on top would help heaps.
- Simone (9/5): - Views were stunning! Simple rooms but had everything I needed.
- Salafai (9/5): Great location, friendly service and comfy room! - Great location and service
- Laurence (9/5): Great couples retreat - Amazing view
- Vicki (5/5): - Views , was quiet and staff were pleasant. Steps / untidy units next door gives it a bad look things thrown on the ground. Untidy long grass, yes there is a farm next door but could tidy up on the side of the property. There was nothing on the bookings about the restaurant closing. The spring in the mattress was annoying.
Needs an upgrade
- Dean (6/5): Great location, needs some TLC - Location and view Dated rooms
- Eva (8/5): -
- Laura (10/5): -
- Brendon (10/5): -
- Irina (8/5): -
- David (7/5): - Fantastic views of the Glasshouse Mountains. Very large room. A little dated. Needs refurb.
- Rapson (6/5): -
- Lynda (8/5): Good location with beautiful views of the mountains - comfortable and clean with beautiful views. Lady at reception was exceptional Didn’t have a toaster
- Sam (8/5): - The views were amazing No cutlery in the rooms. But that's my own fault as it was stated in the confirmation message that you can ask for cutlery at reception. Otherwise it was a relaxing and beautiful place to be
- Ian (10/5): - Friendly staff , comfy bed in a clean room with an outstanding view of the valley and Glasshouse mountains. Close to Maleny, only had one night , wish we had time to stay longer! Our stay was too short!
- danny (8/5): All positive - Beautiful scenery. Very quiet and 500 meters from the wedding venue (Tiffany’s) that we attended. Would stay again. The fact that the town does not have transportation after 630pm made having an extra beer hard.
- Anne (9/5): - The staff was lovely. The view was amazing and the unit was great.
- Deanne (10/5): -
- Richard (3/5): It was terrible. - Wardrobe doors off rollers, water bottle placed in fridge with no bracket causing it to fall out and smash. No equipment to clean up broken glass.
The place is a rabbit warren. Very difficult to locate rooms
- Jade (8/5): - It was a little strange having a family walk past our window on the balcony to get to their room.
- Aaron (10/5): Glass house mountains. - I liked the magnificent views of the Glass house mountains. Amen and God bless to that. 🙏👍😇👑🌈🦋🎖️. No complaints from me whatsoever.
- Georgie (8/5): Relaxing but average stay - Staff were very helpful when we had questions about adding another person to our room. Although, we did provide bedding and linen so there was no cost involved for the one night.
The scenery over the mountains would have been great had it not been for the mist and rain. The room we had was very musty and smelled of damp. The bathroom was in need of repair, there were no hooks on the walls to hang clothes or towels, the basin sink was cracked and plug hole dirty and there was no chair at the side table which held the microwave, kettle and hotel information book.
Also, we were not advised at any stage of the booking or checking in process, that the bar and restaurant were not open due to refurbishment. Had we known earlier in the day of day 2, we could have arranged for supplies and dinner so that we didn't have to go out again in the dark and rain.
- Christina (8/5): Very calming experience - It was lovely, just a pity it rained the 3 days.
Only saw the mountains on arrival then it was white out.
- Amanda (10/5): Amazing 🤩 - The fairy kingdom my grandchildren found. 😊❤️🦋 It was quite

- Roselle (10/5): I love Maleny - Staff man was very helpful and the view was BEAUTIFUL. He also gave us a complimentary bubbles which was very lovely and thoughtful.
- Trudy (9/5): It was a lovely, quiet stay that came with a spectacular view and very friendly staff. - The view was amazing and it was great they offered a 1 night only. It wasn’t so much as we didn’t like as it had some age on it but the view from the balcony was amazing!
- Rebecca (10/5): I meant to stay only one night but I ended up staying for three because it was so nice. - An absolute gem. The views from this place are amazing. My room at the edge of the property had the least spectacular view and it was still excellent. Peaceful and quiet. Just some car noise from the road. Beautiful bird and bug sounds. You can see the stars at night! Even the Milky Way a little bit! The people were so kind. My room was very comfortable. It was everything I needed.
- Janie (10/5): Amazing view! - The view is incredible!!
Great location close to town, very helpful staff, huge room!
- Ingrid (10/5): Very enjoyable - Everything Having the restaurant open
- Hester (10/5): -
- Timmy (10/5): Very good stay. - Great location with a breathtaking view. Friendly staff. Clean room.
- Tabitha (10/5): -
- Payne (9/5): The peak of the Melany lifestyle - The sunset over the mountains was a spectacular end to a long day. Being able to kick back with a cold drink while the cows in the fields eat their dinner is the best way to end the day. The staff were super friendly too Being the last booking of the day, did mean we received the last unrenovated room. Honestly it was fine. Nothing special. The staff gave us a heads up and even offered a discount to stay and extra night.
- Raphael (10/5): -
- Leanneinv1974 (8/5): Tranquil stay at Tranquil Park - We were staying for one night but we decided to stay for 2 as it suited our needs over the Australia day weekend. Beautiful view, decent room and bed, facilities a bit out dated but suited our needs We could hear the neighbours quite a bit as the rooms are so close but the night was quiet. We had to share a balcony too and maybe some partitions between rooms would be good
- Laura (10/5): Great experience surrounded by nature - The location with amazing views of the Mountains and the friendly staff The quality of the mattress
- Lindy (10/5): -
- Fulya (10/5): - Amazing view, great size property, great location
- Lalantha (6/5): - Location Toilet commode and sink need to replace..
Shower is ok, but not the best.
- Andrea (8/5): -
- Hannah (10/5): Perfect stay for resting up to be out - I loved the view from the room and the bar area, the staff are lovely and the facilities are so clean. I loved how quiet it was and how close to bird world and maleny it is. There was nothing I didn't like !!!
- Carmel (9/5): -
- Emma (9/5): -
- Caity (7/5): -
- Mary-Ellen (2/5): Exhausting, irritating, disappointed as it could have been a lovely stay if proper maintenance wasdo - There was no breakfast. There was no dinner available. Rooms were clean. We initially asked and were allowed a later checkout. Management couldn't control partying guests who disturbed us till 1am. We were told in writing we would have a quiet room. My daughter was traumatised by the drunken noise. I sent three text notifications through the night that weren't responded to until morning.
No lock on main door, and a gap wide enough for sun to shine through. Porcelain Soap dispenser in shower smashed, sharp and dangerous. No where to put soap. TV not tuned in. Ch7 pixelated but sound masked the badmouthed party. The noise was recorded from inside the room. No concession was made for the disruption or inconvenience or lack of sleep. When asked about concessions for the disruptive night we were told that they allowed us a later check out which was agreed to initially so it was not a concession.
- Brian (8/5): - The location & the restaurant was great. The bathroom wasn’t as clean as it could have been.
- Radhika (9/5): - The staff was very understanding and friendly.
- Lauren (4/5): Would not recommend to stay - As everyone else who has stayed in this location can attest to, the view is stunning. The staff were very friendly, I expect that they hold their breath when guests bring back their keys the morning of departure. New towels provided daily, which was nice. The large room that was booked doesn't advertise the run down state it is in. Every piece of furniture is either damaged or stained. There were stains on the bath towels, bedding and throw pillows for the couch upstairs. I could also take a stab at the last time the bedding in the cupboards were cleaned. Both the balcony's had holes in the flooring, chairs placed over the tops of ripped up and rotten palings. There was a hole in the sink in the kitchen area, the corrugated wall in the bathroom was floor to head height covered in toothpaste splatter, it was just gross. The hair dryer was covered in hair and make up. Multiple guests were bitten by who knows what, there was dead and alive cockroaches in both bedrooms, sand all over the downstairs floor. For the amount that was paid for the two nights, the views couldn't save my wanting to get out of there soon enough. One or two things you can overlook as being a busy location, but this many is just a lack of care and want to provide a clean stay for guests.
- Jasmine (10/5): -
- Gabrielle (5/5): passable for the price - omg the view was magnificent, staff were all friendly and helpful. once rooms are renovated and have all the proper inclusions like luggage stands, more power points and bench space it will be fantastic. the beds were all shocking, broken cheap toilet seat, cheap blinds did not keep out lights from carpark , food at restaurant was below pub quality and priced too high
- bella (10/5): Beautiful property, incredible views, loveliest staff I've ever encountered. -
- Dinto (8/5): -
- Menh (10/5): -
- Belle (10/5): Perfect - Everything was just perfect. The view was fantastic. Peaceful atmosphere and wonderful staff Can't improve on perfect
- David (5/5): It had all we needed but it just felt very dated and tired. The place needs a lot of maintenance. - The view was absolutely amazing, but the room wat tired and needed maintenance. Staff was very friendly though. And it was close to the botanic garden and bird world. It felt a bit unsafe with the floor flexing in front of the door to the deck. The deck had some broken planks and there was a lot of noise of creaking and possums running around at night. There were stains in the carpet and a dated bathroom and the blinds in the bedroom were very worn.
- Graham (8/5): Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff were very friendly. - View was amazing.
Restaurant service was great. Room could have a table and kitchenette.
- Sonia (5/5): Not good. The view was lovely but that about it. Won’t be returning 😔 - Location and the view The smell of mould the minute we walked through the door. ( actually kept my husband awake most of the night.) our daughter is allergic to mould so we weren’t happy at all! The poo that was on the chairs and tables on the back deck. The green mould pouring down the down drainage
pipe was shocking! There was no bowls or plates to use no sugar to put in tea or coffee. The windows and walls on the outside of the unit were covered in spider webs and bird poo. Even the sign out the front has mould on it. I should have taken photos but we were rushed for time. The staff were polite and helped us check in early as we had to catch the bus earlier than our check in time. I just couldn’t get over the overall presentation of the room especially on the out side tables and chairs that had bird poo over it. The beds were ok but I would not recommend this place to stay again.
- Wendy (8/5): Our accommodation was very good and close to where we are building our new home in Maleny. - We had a great view from our room being able to see lights from afar (not sure whether it was actually Brisbane or not). The room was very clean and tidy and all that we needed. We did not use the restaurant for any meals this time Perhaps a toaster, bowls and cutlery would have been an added bonus.
