- Mariana (10/5): - atendentes educados, quarto confortável e amplo, ótimo café da manhã
- Canan (7/5): - Breakfast was very good but the place was too small to comfortably eat. You have to wait long for the toaster. The streets close to the hotel are full with homeless people. When you walk to Gaslamp Quarter especially during the night you are afraid as a woman.
- William (10/5): - Great staff. Good location. Good breakfast.
- I8606OTchrism (10/5): Great location and amenities - Very nice stay. Breakfast included was appreciated. So close to walk to Balboa Park! Crystal was great at check in and helping me out. Thank you Crystal!

- Merve (8/5): - There is a laundry! And the kitchen in the room was useful. The hotel was clean The breakfast was very less . We could have a good breakfast but it was at our last day. Hotel was not very close to square.
- Myeisha (8/5): - Staff was nice, room decent, and nice view The breakfast was not good at all…really disappointed a lot of the guest

- ravindra (8/5): - Breakfast is good and had good variety everyday. Maybe the bathroom lock and safe lock were not working.
- ULISES DAVID (10/5): Excelente opción en San Diego - Ubicación y desayuno Un poco mas de variación en el desayuno no estaria mal.
- Lisa (9/5): Our room was perfect. Comfortable beds, VERY clean space, quiet. Disapointing that the key amenities were closed. - Clean, safe, everything we needed. Bar and restaurant were closed. These amenities were why we chose this particular spot. Went to bed hungry:(
- Sanjay (8/5): Excellent stay. - Almost everything. Warm courteous staff. Clean room. Perhaps location.
- nicolelF5628WY (2/5): Mobility accessible =basement and no windows - We picked this hotel as our son lives across the street. My husband uses a wheelchair so we loved the location and convenience to visit our son. We ended up canceling our reservation for the christmas holidays when we discovered that the mobility accessible room is in the basement, below ground, with no windows. Seriously, Marriott? You built this hotel in the last 10 years and that's the best you can do???
- Chrystean (9/5): Very helpful staff. Great value for money! - Spacious room, great service, convenient location. Complimentary breakfast was good too. No daily room service, but it was ok as our stay was short.
- Wu (9/5): -
- MJ Boston (7/5): -
- Courtney (8/5): A really comfortable stay, this hotel made it really easy to use every minute we had to explore San Diego. - Fantastic breakfast, felt safe as key was needed for access or staff could let you in, staff always on the desk and alert, clean and spacious room. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils which was really useful, including washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs to help you clean up. Laundry facilities were great and staff were more than happy to change notes to coins to use this. Small hiccup when a payment didn’t go through. We were travelling from London so this plus the time difference did add stress. I paid immediate on a different card when I got the notification, but staff seemed reluctant to tell me that they had received this payment, and there wasn’t much of an acknowledgment of this when we checked in to apologise or anything.
- Natalia (9/5): Nice hotel, has everything you need . - Comfortable room with kitchenette , good breakfast , good gym, 5 min walk to balboa park My room was never cleaned during my 3 night stay
- Dr. Divjot Singh (7/5): -
- Tara (6/5): It was your standard hotel stay. - Great location and friendly staff. Sink was clogged, bathroom right next to the bed. TV and clock were broken.
- Jasmine (10/5): -
- Deborah (9/5): Decent hotel with amenities - Heather was great
Comfy beds Our room location was noisy
- Anja (10/5): - Gute Lage. Gutes Frühstück.
- Bernhard (8/5): - Gutes Frühstück
- ingrid (7/5): -
- Quest13486160352 (10/5): Totally Yes - I definitely enjoyed my stay here. The room is very small and would only probably be comfortable for one or two travelers, but it's near the airport, the zoo and SeaWorld. The convenience factor makes it worthwhile. The parking is a little interesting. You can either park in the garage around back or across the street a parking lot, which both cost $35.00. There is an unloading zone right outside the hotel as well. I would definitely stay here again.
- daniel (10/5): Quick San Diego getaway - Very helpful staff and check in was easy. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view was not the best but we were there for one night, so not a big deal. Breakfast had a wide selection of food choices and beverages. Centrally located very close to he zoo and shoreline.
- Eric (8/5): - Parking was near impossible for me, since I have a Suburban. I could hardly make it around the lot but finally settled in a spot that was labeled “trucks” near the parking lot entrance. The room was fine and served its purpose for one night. If you don’t have a large vehicle to park- you have nothing to worry about.
We didn’t get the chance to experience the breakfast in the morning, but I would love to try it next time. I also loved the noon checkout time and hopefully we can sleep in next time!
- Federico (9/5): -
- Fabian (9/5): -
- Diane (8/5): - Loved the room. Bed not as comfortable as Marriott usually has. However, the room was super clean. Beautiful bathroom. It was quiet. Had a good night’s sleep.
- Zach (10/5): - Great room and supplies. Lots to do in the area.
- Myisha (10/5): We had a great stay. Continental breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and location was good. - Centrally located to the downtown area Property was fine. We would stay there again.
- Michele (2/5): - Had reserved 2 rooms and the property claimed only 1 was reserved but they did have a room available. They argued that my paperwork showed 1 room for 2 nights. After a long day behind us it was not a good check in.
- Deborah (10/5): Our stay was nice. Would stay there again. - The suite was nice and it included all of the necessary amenities. Plus, breakfast was included. No complaints.
- William (10/5): Great for the location and purpose for our show at the Rady. - Super secure since it’s close to downtown. Really clean and Ned was nice and soft along with the pillows N/A
- Gabriel (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay, my daughter had a dance competition locally. We would definitely come back. Thank you
- MARY (8/5): - Would be great to invest in new taller toilets!
- James (8/5): - Only one elevator worked during our entire week.
- Maria (10/5): - We scheduled our trip for our anniversary and initially were placed in a room next to the elevator with loud banging consistently happening, and a lot of noise from people talking. The attendant moved us to a quiet king suite, where we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. Most of the front desk staff were very friendly and kind as well! (One woman stood there and glared on her shifts.)
Comfortable rooms. Couldn't recommend the breakfast, but this hotel was well worth the stay.
- Taner (10/5): - Pros: Nice size quiet room. Good, clean breakfast. Close to seaport village, gas lamp quarter, and Balboa park ( we walked to all those places)
Only con: our two queens bed room did not have any view. When we wanted to change our room, the receptionist said all the two queen bed rooms do not have any view, and only king sized rooms having a view.
- Fxylana (2/5): The Worst Experience Ever!!!! - I stayed at this hotel for two days during Labor Day weekend. Someone from the hotel staff tried to get into my hotel room after my first day. This was a result of Heather, the front desk employee, who checked me out too early. After I almost lost it with the guy who almost made it into my room, he was rattling with the extra lock on the door, I called the front desk. Heather told me that I checked out earlier that morning. Of course, I told her, “How did I checked out when Im still in the room?” She had the nerve to ask me if I was sharing the room with another person.
After speaking to the manager, he told me that Heather checked out the wrong person with the same last name. This tells me that Heather didnt follow procedures and just checked out whoever she wanted to because she probably forgot the room number of the person who checked out and just picked me. The manager comp my last night but my last night for a planned peaceful weekend was ruined by the incompetent Heather.
When I finally checked out, the incompetent Heather, gave me a “dry” I’m sorry and I told her raggedy self I will not be returning to this hotel again.
If you have a common last name, just be careful of Heather and make sure she does her job correctly.
- Leyda (8/5): - Breakfast was great, hotel was very nice. Location was iffy.
- Jess (7/5): Room was nice, location was great, especially if going to the zoo, friendly staff - The staff were really friendly and helpful. They gave us tips for where to eat The breakfast was poor, not many options and what they had was really basic and not quality wise wasn’t good. Disappointed in that aspect.
- Lia (10/5): - Il personale molto gentile
- David (8/5): - Knowing how to get to the hotel from the parking garage can be a bit confusing due to the neighboring hotel.
But once you get to the correct hotel its very nice and clean. The courtyard they have in the middle is very nice spot to relax and have fun
- Hayder (6/5): - The room was located underground, we did not know know that we would stay in a basement when we go on vacation
- Herbert (10/5): - Location
- krishman (6/5): - I dod not like the buffet options, the staff was helpful and friendly, the bar was good and the bartender was very friendly.
- Eva (8/5): - Breakfast was overrated.
- Mordechay (9/5): - חדר גדול ונוח וארוחת בוקר קלילה אך מספקת
- Steve (10/5): - Breakfast was incredibly good. Location was convenient to everything, but a somewhat sketchy neighborhood.
- Pasquale (10/5): - Great staff , very clean spacious room. Parking is weird and I wish we would have tried the breakfast restaurant next door it was packed every day. Gas lamp is close but so is the freeway if you want a more relaxing time see the surroundings areas away from down town.
- Lambert (10/5): - Hotel and staff were exceptional. The facilities were nice. I don’t like the fact you had to pay extra for parking and parking is not connected to the property. Also the area of town has a lot of panhandlers and homeless people. Can be uneasy at times when walking around town.
- Adrian (10/5): - Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are very spacious. Walking distance from downtown/ less than a mile from petco park
- Ilse (6/5): - It was okay. It was walkable to everywhere. The place was a little outdated and felt crammed but other than that it was okay stay for just one night
- Michael (8/5): - I didn't like the setup. The hotel and the parking structure were not close. We had to walk a ways to get to the hotel lobby after we parked, and had it not been for a parking attendant I wouldn't have known what was going on. There was no carts available to help transport luggage from the parking structure to the hotel. Lastly, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. When I reported it to the lobby attendant she told me none of them work. that means they're all been disconnected. I've not stayed in any hotel worth it's name that didn't have that device working when it was installed when the place was built. Makes no sense to me.
- Elinor (10/5): - I would have rated this hotel with all 5s except for the parking spaces. They were too tight and one needed to be careful when parking.
- Sandra (10/5): - The staff is amazing.
- Melissa (10/5): Enjoyed every second and hope to back - The room was like a mini house. It had everything one needed as a family with two little ones. The parking garage.
- maxine (10/5): - Unfortunately many homeless around property. Also needed a few more close dining options. Property and staff excellent
- Nicole (8/5): - Parking garage is very difficult to maneuver. Breakfast was good. Lots of options and different each day.
- Ropsonna (8/5): - Free Wendy and helpful staff. My room as clean, comfortable bed. They also allowed me to check in 3 hrs earlier.
- Nevitt (7/5): -
- Cullison (9/5): - Location. Very good breakfast. Fair price. Barn bathroom doors. A little noisy.
- Peter (10/5): - Staff was wonderful. The room also! Parking however is problematic. Extremely narrow spiral driveway up to third level. If you have a large vehicle do not go up parking ramp and talk to attendant about alternatives. Parking is NOT connected to hotel entrance. You must park then walk outside to enter hotel! This is our only negative.
- Jane (10/5): - It was a great room, nice kitchenette, wonderful hot breakfast
- Ismael (2/5): - Keeped my deposit and we left it clean staff was also rude
- Patricia (8/5): - We didn’t get the room we reserved. Reserved a king studio and got two queen beds instead. They did comp us the parking to offset but felt like I still paid more overall.
- Jennifer (7/5): - The facility is nice. Parking was really tight The hotel water was not as hot.
- Verified traveler (6/5): It was....just okay. - The toiletries were empty, except the shampoo. The room had a musty, damp smell that did dissipate a bit after the AC was turned on. There was also left over food in the cabinets from previous occupants. We stayed for 2 nights, so it wasn't worth the hassle to ask them to remedy these things.
- Sean (10/5): - The staff was super helpful and the breakfast was excellent
