• Derek (10/5): Estuvo bonita la estadía. - Se encuentro cerca del centro de cuenca, cuenta con parqueo exclusivo, incluye desayuno, cuenta con un comedor por si deseas almorzar ahí mismo. El personal es amable. Para q la ducha salga con agua caliente hay que estar llamando en recepción para q la activen, y es algo molestoso. Debería estar en todo momento para tener agua caliente.

• Janneke (8/5): Convenient stay - Nice hotel, spacious room. Parking on the premise was very convenient, and was for free. Despite all the space in the room, there's nothing to put your stuff on. You have to live out of your suitcase. There's only 1 small desk with 1 chair, while there's enough room for an entire cabinet, sitting corner, etc.

Das Zimmer 2 ist nicht zu empfehlen. - Zimmergröße: klein und sauber Wasserdruck: mittelmäßig Wasser Temperatur Dusche: heiß, aber es dauert bis es kommt Wasser Temperatur Waschbecken: wie in der Dusche Pflegeprodukte: Shampoo und Handseife Badetuch /Handtuch /Bodentuch vorhanden WLAN schlecht, es bricht immer wieder ab Kissen bequem Sicherer Parkplatz vorhanden Frühstück war als kleines Buffet angerichtet, die Eier bekommt man frisch zubereitet Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Bett bequem, aber macht Geräusche bei jeder Bewegung. Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein uns eng. Wenn ich (1,64cm groß und schlank) auf dem Klo saß, konnte ich mit dem Kopf an der Wand mich anlehnen. Geräuschpegel insgesamt alles hellhörig und laut, wir hörten ständig die Nachtklingel und die Gespräche bis 2 Uhr. Dann setzte sich jemand vor unser Fenster und rauchte, der Rauch zog zu uns ins Zimmer. An Schlafen war nicht zu denken. Durch die Zimmertüre kommt man nur quer durch, vielleicht 40cm breit.

• pia (8/5): Nettes Hotel - Gutes Frühstück mit Ei, Früchte, Brot, Käse, Joghurt, Kornflakes, Marmelade und Kaffee oder Tee. Man bekommt auch statt Käse Schinken zum Ei. Eier werden verschieden zubereitet. Warmes Wasser. Sehr zentral und nahe am Centro Historico Parkplätze bewacht im Innenhof vorhanden. Die Zimmer im Haupthaus sind sehr hellhörig.

• Sahian (10/5): Great stay! - Staff was extremely helpful and kind. The place was close to the city center, and super clean. The breakfast was delicious and staff called us to remind us before it was closed.

• Odell (6/5): - We recently visited Cuenca, Ecuador, and stayed at several hotels, including Hotel Calle Angosta, which was our least favorite. The hotel is located in the historic district, within walking distance of Parque Calderon, the central plaza, and the beautiful Rio Tomebamba walking trails. The staff was accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. However, there were several issues. Our room was much smaller compared to the others we stayed in, and it had a strong chemical odor, especially after room service. The room lacked sufficient electric outlets, with only two available—one by the bed and one behind a clothes armoire, making it inaccessible. The window opened into a common area, blocked by a heavy curtain. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets would come off every night due to being old and loose. The room had only one mirror above the sink, which made it difficult for two people to get ready. The shower had good water pressure, but we were given difficult-to-open shampoo packets, and the soap dispenser was empty. We also had to ask for more toilet paper. Breakfast was minimal: a small bowl of fruit, a roll, scrambled eggs, juice, and coffee. No staff checked if we wanted more food. Overall, Hotel Calle Angosta did not meet our expectations and was our least favorable stay.

No fresh air because the took us totally enclosed….understandable to avoid breathing in the fumes from traffic on nearby busy street and all the noise.

• Philip (9/5): Very clean friendly spot near center - Conveniently situated near downtown with very clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. We stayed in the area at back where most of the rooms were. Rooms were quiet generally except for the family of elephants upstairs for one night. Beds could use an upgrade as they had some serious ridges in them. A/c and shower were both excellent, as was the wifi. Breakfast was juice, coffee, eggs your style and a roll with butter and jam. No fruit unfortunately and there was no variety outside the juice and your choice of eggs but it was a good start to the day. It was served in the older area which had bags of charm. There is plenty of parking with good sized spaces but the entry from the street, like all parking in Cuenca, is quite narrow. Finally, the staff could not have been nicer and went above and beyond to help us when we were sick. We can't thank them enough for their kindness in letting us check in early as we were wiped out after a long 30 hours of travel. Beds could be a lot better and more variety at breakfast would be nice.

• Cecile (10/5): We'll be back soon - The hotel is our favorite when we're in Cuenca. It was our 4th time and we will be back at the end of Septembre. Even if it's located in the Centro Historico, it's really quiet. The breakfast is really good. The parking lot is really convenient. The staff is really helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are really nice. Beds are very comfortable.

Speaking of which the location of this hotel is perfect walking distance to most places people come to Cuenca to see. The neighborhood felt safe and walkable (especially compared to Quito). The staff were all very friendly, accommodating, helpful and all spoke at least some amount of English.

Washroom was nice, although when we arrived the floor under the sink was wet: one cause is the faucet is too short, and water easily comes out of the sink when washing hands. We only used restaurant for breakfast because service was quite disappointing: the second day, we had to wait for more than 5 minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen and clean one table, since all dishes had been left on the 6 or 7 tables... Parking was safe. Note that the hotel charges 10% more if you pay by credit card...
