- Anonymous (6/5): This hotel was at a great location & had good options to eat, but was very loud at night. - I liked the location -- it was very cute, and was in a good location to be able to get the airport shuttle and go to the airport the next morning. It also was situated in a cute town and there were great spots to eat! Also, the calming music in the background of the hotel was great. Good views from the terrace and room too. There was very loud music playing right outside my window late into the night. I had to get up early the next morning and was hoping for a good night's rest, but could not go to sleep until late due to the noise. Also, the trashcan in the bathroom had not been emptied.

Ellerinde ki su dolu pet şişeleri odanın ortasına serpip paspas yapıyorlar. Oda değişikliği talep ettik gittiğimiz odada yastıklarımıza tişört geçirdik sigara kokusundan uyunmuyordu. Genel itibari ile ilgisiz ve umursamaz bir tavırları var tüm otel çalışanlarının. Mardin de müşteri sıkıntısı olmadığı aşikar fiyat uygun diye gittik ama gerçekten o fiyat bile bu otel için fazla gelebilir. Sabah kahvaltı da kurumuş börekler özensiz bir kaç kahvaltılık ve ilgisiz çalışanlar. Gece canlı müzikten uyuyamadık ve böyle bir durum olduğunu otel ücretini ödeyip odaya geçtikten sonra söylediler. Bizim için fiyaskoydu

No parking on spot included and we had to pay to park far away from the hotel. The family room did not have the amount of bed described so we got given a bent sparebed instead. No welcome drink or suprise for the kids as mentioned. Did not see anything to make it a kid friendly hotel. Dirty shower. Loud music until 24.00. Reseptionist more busy playing games and in the morning he was sleeping on a chair in the hallway and my husband had to wake him two times. We just left without having breakfast in the morning. + Very good location and beautiful view from the room. Nice building. We have visited old Mardin before and stayed in another two hotels. We will not come back to this hotel if we visit again.

Yatakların ortası çökmüş böyle bir konumda bu fiyata biraz daha özenli odalar beklerdik beklentimiz düşük olmasına rağmen hayal kırıklığına uğrattı.

- ISMAEL (2/5): Disappointed - unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Firstly, the pictures did not match the reality of the room I was given. Even there was no shampoo provided and bathroom was not tiidy and clean, which is a basic amenity one would expect. Additionally, the air-conditioning system was unreliable and did not function properly, making the room uncomfortable. Parking was a headache with limited spaces and poor management. Overall, I do not recommend staying here.

- Judith (10/5): Mardin is the most wonderful picturesque place to be, and such friendly people. - Location is excellent, staff very helpful City view rooms overlook a restaurant which has late live music outside which finishes at midnight, then a lot of scrapping of chairs tidying up sometimes till 2:30 in the morning!!!!! It is separate from hotel so not their fault.

- William (10/5): Good location, a bit noisy - Nice location. An older hotel in the heart of old town with a beautiful view of the plain below Mardin. The front desk was helpful and considerate, and helped me with airport transportation. Live music at night, perfect for some but a bit much for me. I stayed on a holiday weekend so that may have made a difference.
- Semih (4/5): Kokulu oda - Odada inanılmaz bir koku vardı resmen lağam yada wc gibi kokuyordu odayı değiştirebilir miyiz diye sorduğumuzda hepsi aynı dediler ve en iyi odayı size verdik dediler halbuki 2 büyük yataklı odada rezervasyon yaptık onlar 1 adet küçük ve 1 adet büyük yataklı odayla değiştirdiler bizim için daha iyi olacağını söylediler kokudan dolayı odayı temizlik yaptılar ama yine koku hala devam ediyordu 2 gün boyunca kötü kokuya maruz kalıp o şekilde kaldık. Otelin iyi yönü tam caddede olmasıydı .

Easy to access the attraction I didn’t like the breakfast which is starting at 8.30 am and I went at 09.15 am it was nothing left even it was no bread no hot water for tea. Cleaning was not in higher standard. Room was very dusty bathroom was not clean. I only see house keeping cleaning the corridors and reception areas. I didn’t see anyone cleaning the rooms.

Masalar yerler vs. çok kirli. Hotels den alırken girişte sürpriz hediye ve içecek ikramı vardı ama onlar da verilmedi. Kesinlikle tavsiye ETMİYORUM.

- Tse (5/5): Passable - Location is good. Room is clean. Simple breakfast in the morning. We are a group in 6 people and we booked 2 family room for 2 nights. On the check-in date, We kept messaging to the hotel about the arrival time as it took a long time to cross the border from Iraq. However, they didn't reply me any single word but suddenly charged me the room fee from credit card. We arrived hotel around 10pm, and they gave us 1 double room and 1 small triple room with 1 folded bed. After complaining, the guy on the phone (reception cant speak English) said they will refund to me via booking.com and change another room to us the next day. The next day, they changed 2 bigger triple room to us, but still not the family room I had booked. About the refund, I still haven't received yet (check-in date of my booking is 4 July). But I think the amount of refund wouldn't be too much as the different of the room rate between family room and double room is just few euro. And I think that's the way to attract more people to stay.

- James (9/5): Superb - The hotel is centrally located. The Staff are fantastic especially the manager and the mother and daughter team that organised the breakfast. This is a budget hotel by western standards. But I would not hesitate in staying here again. Nothing to complain about except the air conditioning unit was leaking when I arrived. But it was fixed within an hour. It broke down again and the manager moved me to another room with me asking. I would definitely stay here again.

- Musab (4/5): - Habe mich für dieses Hotel entschieden da es “mit Parkplatz inbegriffen” angegeben wurde doch bei der Ankunft hat sich herrausgestellt das sie gar kein Parkplatz haben. Mir wurde gesagt das ich 1 km weiter weg parken soll. Einrichtung sehr veraltet, dusche ganz und gar nicht einladend.

- Adil (10/5): A gem in Mardin - Service from staff was outstanding, super attentive. They constantly offered complimentary tea and coffee and did not get tired of us having 5 coffees a day. Reserved a spot for our car out the front and always helped out when we were parking. Location is right in the centre of old Mardin town so easy access to all the cafes and restaurants with terraces. The rooms were very clean and the air-conditioning worked really well. Everything was fine. There was one morning where the hot water took its time to flow but the water was still warm.

The room was spacious, temperature adequate, bathroom very spacious and overall it was comfortable They tried to put me in a different room than the one I booked until I objected and got the right room. Some of the details on booking are wrong, for instance none of the rooms have a balcony or terrace and there was no coffee maker in the room. Given the price I was expecting much more than what I got

- Galina (5/5): Photos on booking is much more better than reality - The location is excellent. The staff on reception is very friendly. The rooms don’t look like in the photos. They are pretty old. In one of the rooms there was awful smell of toilet, that’s why we asked another room and had to live in a room much more smaller. Sometimes there was only cold water in the shower. The breakfast is on the terrace which is rather dirty. Food is not cooked badly.

- Eyup Fazli (6/5): Not recommended - The hotel's building and lobby look very fancy but the room we got was not very nice. It was not very clean, we didn't have any toiletries, and there was a used small bottle of shampoo still in the shower. Unless you get the luxury suite, the view you get is to the street, not the Mesopotamian valley. On the second day, we didn't have hot water in the shower, we came during winter, the temperature was around 0°C (32 fahrenheit), so it is unacceptable to have a cold shower in this weather. We asked the reception about it, they said they had fixed it already, so I went and take a shower, but the water was barely lukewarm, it was not fixed for another day. The breakfast included is not good. The food is not really tasty and the organization of it is very poor. It is also not very clean. The dirty dishes from previous guests were lying around for ages. We arrived and there was 1 boiled egg left (we didn't arrive at the end of the breakfast), we asked for more eggs, they said they would bring. We finished eating, and we never received the eggs. The next day we decided to go somewhere else for breakfast, because we were so disappointed from the morning before. Smoking is allowed everywhere in the hotel, so there is a constant smell of cigarette everywhere
