• Kalana (5/5): - I had a very disappointing stay here and would not recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my silver chain and necklace on the bedside table when I checked out. As soon as I realized, I contacted the hotel, but the staff was completely unhelpful and dismissive. Despite knowing exactly where I left them, the items were never "found," and the management showed zero urgency in assisting me. To make matters worse, the hygiene standards are appalling. I actually found a worm in my food during one of my meals. Between the lack of integrity regarding lost property and the unsanitary dining conditions, this was a terrible experience. Save your money and stay somewhere that values its guests and basic cleanliness.

• SVETLANA (10/5): - Отель превзошел ожидания. Идеален для тех кто ищет тихий спокойный отдых. Не понимаю плохие отзывы, для Шри Ланки этот отель цена/качество оправданы. Большой номер, и мой коврик для йоги идеально подошел к интерьеру😁. Все необходимое есть:чайник, чай, кружки, холодильник, полный комплект полотенец. Вид из номера на 3м этаже просто офигенный. Ресторан в отеле за неделю не надоел. Готовят вкусно, хотя меню не сильно разнообразное. Бассейн 25м,можно нормально поплавать. Аншлага в отеле в мои даты не было, наслаждалась обилием лежаков и одиночеством в бассейне. Персонал очень френдли и отзывается на все пожелания прям сразу. Я и сейчас еще здесь, по причине отмены рейса сделала новую бронь, да не за етила разницы в категориях номеров. Забронировала оказалось "релакс рум", а была в "премиум" Пришлось переехатьв соседний номер, из 306 в 305 за стенкой. Разница между ними в том, что в 306 ванна, в 305 душ. Я других отличий не вижу🤷🏻‍♀️ Кто-то в отзывах жаловался на грязь. Я бы сказала наоборот, оч чисто в номере, чище чем в предыдущих моих отелях на Шри. Занимаясь йогой на полу это можешь оценить😉 Мне это неважно, но надо знать, что перед отелем риф и прям напротив отеля покупаться не получиться, 300м налево и напротив Шератона уже ок. Но и если вы бегаете, то бегать только по дороге, она одна единственная, и на ней достаточно активное движение. Вечером анриал, очень много транспорта и оч он коптит.
• Manura (9/5): My 99% satisfied honeymoon stay! - Everything about the hotel. The staff were friendly. They took care of us exceptionally. The ocean view was awesome. Serenity at it's best! We highly recommend everyone to go specifically for a 3rd floor room as it gives a full 180 degree unobstructed view of the southern coastline and the sea. P.s- We came in to spend our honeymoon and we let them know ahead about that and they took care of that by sending in a complimentary choc'lit cake! How thoughtful was that?! Thanks The Habitat, yall were awesome! There's only one negative for me to say as my stay was exceptionally good. The negative is the portion size of the food ordered through the room service. While it was great tasting and came with a nice presentation, the portion was barely enough for a single person. Now mind you, we ordered almost all the main dishes from the rice and spaghetti/pasta menus and the rice portion sizes were the most underwhelming. Other than that, it was all good, baby!

В этом отеле можно поблагодарить только любезный персонал! - Самое хорошее, что есть в этом отеле- это персонал, стараются сделать все возможное для тебя! Также повар хорош, еда отличная в ресторане! Отель на фото выглядел шикарно, но на данный момент он просто в ужасном состоянии! Ему срочно требуется капитальный ремонт! Номер меняли 3 раза из за разных причин. В первом номере шумер кондиционер и не работал телевизор, во втором номере не уходила вода в раковине, туалет шатался, кондиционер тек, в результате упал потолок! После нас переселили в люкс, но и тут не все так здорова! Матрас был уже продавлен, вода в душе не уходила, а растекалась по всему полу, занавески просто порваны. Зато вид с балкона отличный.

• Dipankar (8/5): A beautiful stay by the ocean - Breakfast was delicious with many local and regular options. We loved the dinning space right in front of the pool. The room view was even better than expected with ocean so close. There is a mangrove bush within the hotel premise with private beach space and also many other beaches in walking distance. The turtle conservation is a 10 mins walk. Staff was very good, we got fruits from outside which they cut and served us beautifully without any additional charge. That was really something we appreciated. Overall, we loved the stay. Gym should be active. I guess it was under renovation when we visited.

• Eden Fernandes (9/5): Amazing hotel, exceptional service - I made this booking on behalf of my parents and in laws who traveled together. I personally reached out to the staff to request them to decorate my parents room as it was their anniversary, the staff went above and beyond and their gestures truly warmed our parents hearts. They won't forget their stay here! Great views, great rooms, felt very luxurious! Right next to the ocean, which is always a good thing. Great food as well from the restaurant and most importantly, exceptional service!

• ewena (6/5): A lovely staff and beautiful views, but an overall experience far below 5-star standards. - We had a pleasant stay overall, mainly thanks to the staff. The team is genuinely friendly, helpful, and always smiling, they really do their best to take care of guests. The sea view from the room was beautiful, and the pool area itself is nice. However, several aspects were disappointing, especially considering that the hotel is advertised as a 5-star resort. The facilities and overall comfort are far below that standard. There are no sheltered outdoor areas to sit when it rains, no seating on the beach. The pool was overcrowded, and the all-inclusive selection was very limited. Comfort also wasn’t up to expectations: the restaurant toilets were dirty and poorly maintained, the room’s chairs had no cushions etc. By European standards, this would be closer to a 3-star hotel, and unfortunately we felt that the price paid did not match the quality delivered.
• Tarun (9/5): Incredible stay with ocean view - We had booked the suite and it was one of the best suite we have ever stayed with view of swimming pool and ocean. The swimming pool was olympic size as well. The food served was scrumptious. The main attractions are nearby only. The room service is slow and beach was not swimmable.
• Pradyot (8/5): Good Property with Potential to be Great - Location is great with an almost private beach. Although the beach itself is rocky. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Breakfast was good with a wide spread of continental and Sri Lankan fare. Staff was friendly and helpful. There were some stains on the toilet in one of the four rooms we had booked but it was cleaned once intimated to housekeeping. While the breakfast was good, there were limited vegetarian options for lunch and dinner. Service was a bit slow, but it was also crowded that day, so I wouldn't ding them too much for it. However, the music at the hotel bar was deafeningly loud. They really need to tone it down to create a mellow ambiance. Nonetheless, the music did not reach the rooms. The hotel looks better in pictures than it does in reality. It's still good but lacks finesse. Example: Our bedsheet, while clean, was frayed and had minor tears in a small patch. The bathroom had only an overhead shower and not a hand shower.
• Philip (10/5): Great stay in Bentota - Beautiful. So nicely furnished and decorated. Room was spacious and comfortable with a sea view. Spotless with great decoration and crisp bedsheets. All the staff are attentive and caring. Their warmth and kindness turned the stay into something exceptional. Very clean restaurant. Delicious three course meals which we loved. Excellent service by the restaurant staff. Big pool area with many sun beds around. Not far from the Bentota picnic area. I have been visiting Bentota area for more than sixteen years. Stayed in different hotels. I cannot say that I don’t like anything in this hotel. I would keep coming back. I cannot say that I don’t like anything in this hotel.

Room would be better with carpets for cleanliness. Washing in the bathtub was uncomfortable. Food didn’t meet expectations — more variety needed. • Sachuth (3/5): - The swimming pool was good, but the staff survived us. Really uncomfortable Rude and unhelpful staff. It took hours to check in only because of spam mails and not updated information from the hotell side. The main gatekeeper totally irritated and pit us like a thief of bath towels, which we informed the hotel management, and it was ok. Whole staff must be better trained to take care of guests.

• Sharma (1/5): Nothing is good - Nothing Extremely Disappointing Stay – This Property Should Be Shut Down This was by far the worst property I have ever stayed at in Sri Lanka. The staff was extremely unhelpful and rude, and the manager was equally unprofessional. The entire property felt unsafe and poorly maintained. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor and even had broken doors. The pool was dirty, and the overall hygiene was unacceptable. Despite clearly informing the staff that I am vegetarian, I was still served non-vegetarian food – this was both shocking and unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with Booking.com for rating this property five stars and giving it a score of 8. It is completely misleading. This place is not suitable for guests and should be shut down immediately.

The breakfast offers A big variety of everything even for A vegan. The Hotel is A boutique kind of because there is only 28 rooms. I loved The interiors with turqoise color. You really feel A special guest. There are several turtle hatcheries close by, so you get to reliese them to The sea If you want.
• Shira (10/5): Overall, we felt genuinely cared for, and the thoughtful service made our stay not only comfortable - Our stay was truly exceptional. The staff (Nuwan, Dilky, Roy and Pulasti) were amazing and went above and beyond with every request we had. I use a wheelchair, and I was impressed to find that the entire hotel was accessible — except for one small step leading to the pool area. To my surprise, the team built a proper and comfortable ramp immediately. Their responsiveness and sensitivity were truly touching. The hotel’s chef was incredible — he personally prepared everything we asked for, and each dish was absolutely delicious. This level of care and service made our experience unforgettable. The accessible room was spacious and very comfortable. However, it was missing a shower chair, which would have made the bathroom even more functional.

• Karomery87 (8/5): Very good - The staff was truly wonderful and accommodating. The manager, Mr Viradha, made sure that whatever small issues we might have had were taken care of instantly. The hotel is settled at the beach front, we had a beautiful sea view from our room located on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was filling, with a variety of options. The room was very spacious! We loved our drinks at the bar :) The area is really peaceful, with little crowds, which is exactly what we were after. Great stay all together ❤️ Please keep in mind that the beach in front of the hotel has rocks so it's not possible to swim there. The view from the rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor is obstructed by the bushes.

• Tetiana (3/5): This hotel is not worth the money - The hotel is conveniently located near the beach we usually go to, and we wanted to add a bit more comfort to our regular getaway. Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t meet any of our expectations. It’s quite old, lacks comfort and any notable service. Within the first five minutes, we were already thinking about how to plan our next vacation properly. The ocean view from our room was mostly blocked by a bush, and you could barely see the water. The restaurant felt more like a cafeteria, and the food was not tasty. Overall, we found more joy being outside the hotel than inside it.

• Arjun (2/5): - We arrived in the evening, we wanted to eat dinner around 8pm, the staff took our order and then told us that they didn't have any food they could serve us. Some employees had gotten in a physical altercations, they was injuries and the police was called. Due to the unsafe nature of the staffs actions and the lack of food on the property. We packed our bags just a couple hours into our 2 night stay and went to the Sheraton down the road. The staff told us when we left the nights would be refunded due to the issues, however they still have not.

• Romit (4/5): Disappointing - Nice, small and clean property The property is on the beach however the beach is rocky and not usable- please update the same in your website else others like me will also get misguided. Additionally the location is in middle of nowhere - it’s not bentota.

Water gets murky if it rains and there's no cleaning of the pool happening on a regular basis perhaps due to being understaffed - They're understaffed and hence might miss basic things like cleaning your room for example - They don't have enough food options. Barely 5-7 items available on their menu - There is no food after 10:00 PM and you're in an isolated place so stay hungry - They're unaware about their own facilities and services - They're not prepared for basic requests like "an extra pool towel" for instance - The location is extremely isolated away from any form of life or shops and the road to the location is a through a muddy village and there's no transportation available - Prices of rooms and food menu are way above what it's worth - "Beachfront" is a scam. The beach is not usable as it's full of rocks. The beach is just for show basically.

• Nishan (10/5): Spectacular view and tasty food. - Everything went really well and exceeded our expectations. Staff was really nice, efficient and active. Rooms were spacious, quite and has a very beautiful view. Their beach is also very safe, surrounded by rocks and green sea weed which makes a very beautiful scenery. No complaints.
