- Elmir (9/5): - The location of the hotel was perfect: near to bus stations and Şişhane metro station. The staff was very polite and kind. No place would offer such a service for this cheap price. Definitely would recommend.
- AJ (7/5): Good value - Great staff, convenient location, good price
- Denzil (10/5): Great stay as always - Always a good stay.
- Rebecca (8/5): Useful place to stay in Istanbul - Out of the centre but good transport links to the main tourist sites. Good air-conditioning, staff friendly No curtains, so very light in the morning. Quite noisy, curtains would have helped. Didn’t see any people smoking inside but smell of smoke on bedding.
- Naima (8/5): - Le personnel, l'endroit

(10/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was in good condition from the very beginning. I especially want to highlight the staff — they were always kind, friendly, and ready to help with any questions. The location was also convenient: close enough to the main areas, yet quiet enough to relax after a busy day. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would be happy to recommend this hotel to others.
- Isaac (8/5): Good memories in Huzur Hotel - The hotel is very well located. Sishane metro is 1 kms far, there are many buses which connect with differents areas around the corner also you could find Karakoy (ferry terminal) accesible from the Hotel.
Apart from that the area is simple, a lot of cay evi are the main attraction. Near to the hotel (one block away) there is a big supermarket and a traditional turkish bread store. Nothing, everything according to the price ! the Cheapest and enough
- Lasse (6/5): - Venlige Bad smell in bathroom.
Forgot to give me håndklæder

- David (9/5): Superb -
- Denzil (10/5): Another Great Stay - This was my third stay at this nice little hotel. The team kindly upgraded my room to a twin room with a great view of Galata Tower!!!
I still recommend based on its location and price
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional - Fully recommended, very nice area, comfortable rooms, very polite, and helpful stuff aseptically guys from reception. If I back Istanbul I will stay there again for sure!
- Sørensen (7/5): A good place to stay indeed, specially if you travel alone or are married. -
- Mark (10/5): I dare you to find a better value for a hotel in all of Istanbul. - This hotel is by far the best value in Istanbul. I stay here every time I am in Turkey. Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi is great, restaurants, and tea. Shops are everywhere, but best of all by far is the staff, especially Ozkan. He is knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Each time I stay at this hotel, he makes my time that much more rewarding.
- Gumbat-zade (10/5): Exceptional - All was clean, the location was great , and personal was very helpful. As an individual traveler, it was safe . Bathroom was very clean, it was main criteria for me
- Iemad (5/5): Passable -
- Karl (9/5): Good value hotel - neat n clean - Everything was very good. Air con and heating in the room, too. I think the lighting in the shower area could be improved.
- Abow (8/5): Comfortabel and clean stay. - Kasımpaşa is A cool place. Mıstafo ...
- khalil Emil (10/5): - Mahmod is a great person .
Hotel near lots of places .
Transportation easy .
- Youssef (7/5): Good - The staff crew were very friendly and amazing 🙏👍
- Denzil (10/5): Best Value Stay in Istanbul - This was my second stay at this hotel this year. I wasn't disappointed this time either. I had great view from my room of Haliç, Beyazıt and Galata Kulesi. That combined with the ferry connections from Kasımpaşa and metro connections from Şişhane made the city easy to navigate
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice location with reasonable price - It was easy check in and check out 🙂
- Noraini (5/5): Okay for a short stay and spend most if the time outside - staff members were friendly. Location was alright The smells on the corridor and at the room entrance/ toilet have a drain smells. The noise when other guest toilets when the tap is on or when the bathroom is used. Also when the cleaner cleaning other floors/rooms , you can hear almost everything while you're asleep
- Georgi (6/5): Pleasant - The staff is very friendly and supportive. I chose the place as it's close to the city center and the price for a single room was nice. My bathroom had a brown ceiling from the mold formed there.
- Alper (8/5): Deneyimim - 2 gece konakladık. Genel itibari ile güzel bir deneyimdi. Yalnızca minibuzdolabında biraz koku vardı. Onun dışında gayet memnunum.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Helpful staff; does what it says on tin - Thank you, Mahmut Bey! Excellent service from the night shift staff. I (embarrassingly) asked if he could wake me up at 06.45, as if it were the Grand Budapest Hotel haha. He was incredibly kind, and was super helpful. So, special thank you to him!
Besides that, the hotel does what it says on the tin. Bear in mind, this was literally the cheapest hotel in Istanbul (20 pounds or so I think). Cleaner than I expected. Location was great. Obviously, incredibly barebones. Istiklal Street was like 14-15 minute walk. Better location than I thought, though best to come with taxi at night, just in case. Overall, good market fit: Cheapest hotel in an expensive city, cleaner than I thought it would be. Good to come on a budget.
- Manodjkoemar (4/5): - Area
- Mateusz (9/5): Nice economy stay - Very nice hotel for the price offered. It is very much on the economy side, although got everything I needed to sleep (maybe except fridge and normal desk). Working aircon, in drier evenings I didn’t even use it as the temperature was just enough. Beautiful sights from upper floors - constantly clicking light (sensor) on the 6th floor corridor
- INTERNET was often breaking, however I stayed too short to complain and make them do something about it
- there is a small cleavage under the door and tiles on the corridor - the steps, sounds are quite loud when somebody is walking
- generally walls are thin, but I heard people talking maybe twice during the day
- no fridge in the room
- Denis (8/5): Nice stay close to Galata tower ,bridges and center -
- Balikoev (5/5): Passable for a person travelling solo like myself, but too spartan - staff is friendly and helpful, the room is clean no fridge, no glass for water, one towel only, one sheet on the bed only and a topper. Very spartan conditions
(9/5): Superb - I liked everything! For the money, it's a very good option. The staff is very nice, polite, they even checked me in earlier without any extra charge. The location is great, not far from the center, a store near the hotel, many local cafes where you can eat inexpensively. The room was clean, the air conditioner saved from the heat. I didn't find any downsides
- Ali (7/5): Good -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - I got the room upgraded from single room shared bathroom to single room private bathroom by the hotel and loved it. The bed is comfy and there is a little fridge thrown in so some food could be kept. It has basic facilities but since it is used for sleeping it serves its purpose. The location is good, tried only buses since there is a bus stop across the street. It is surrounded by restaurants at cheaper prices since it is slightly behind touristy Taksim area. The receptionist and staff are good, polite and helpful. Really as advertised. -
- Sefa-Yunus (6/5): - Was soll man sagen.
- Gülnar (10/5): Exceptional - Very noisy
- Faten (1/5): Bad - Just the price When we sleep the sounds of people sitting down in our room the sound of mosque the shower was broken no box of tissue in hotel no kettle nothing in the room except bed towel and fridge,we can hear the door of the other room when open or close so near to each other
I dont recomebd at all !!!!!!!
- majd (2/5): - The hotel is far from touristic destination. Its dirty and have no dining options. The staff are very rude and hate foreigners. The area arround the hotel is questionable.
- LING LING IVY (6/5): -
- Ahmed (8/5): - In General it was a good experience especially for people that’s looking for economic travel like me, although you have to walk 17 minutes ( not flat streets ) to get to the nearest metro station, but the location is good and not far away from any special and famous places.
- Nino (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (8/5): A place to lay your head - Hotel was cheap and not so cheerful, but great for what I needed. Room was a good size and luckily well heated as the Istanbul weather was horrendous ! Bed was comfortable and bathroom was fine, could do with renovation as furniture was a bit dated. On a busy road but once in my room it was very quiet. Staff helpful, the day manager spoke better English than the night guy, but I was able to get by. No information leaflets about tourism sites but there is WIFI that seemed to work ok so found out some things myself, but he was able to direct me to the local bus stop that took you into the more touristy areas. A little off the beaten track and a bit of an adventure, but when comparing prices and willingness to use public transportation it was worthwhile.
- Lal (2/5): - laut
- Denzil (10/5): Great Value for Istanbul - This hotel turned out to be great value. A private room with ensuite bathroom, a fridge, TV, WiFi and Aircon. All for a great price. All worked well. Şişhane metro is about 10 minutes away and the Kasımpaşa pier about five minutes away. With lots of buses nearby too. I would recommend for anyone on a budget.
- Marius (5/5): Passable -
- Armaghan (7/5): Good -
- Majdi (8/5): - The hotel was good and Clean. I will use this Hotel next time. the reception was good
- Costel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohammad (2/5): Very poor -
- Mariya (7/5): Good -
- cammy (8/5): - The area felt more local. I felt safe. The gentlemen who worked the front desk on shifts were helpful with anything I needed. The bus stop was just a minute away where you could get rides to anywhere in Istanbul.
- Inkprintt (9/5): Home away from Home, I didn't feel like a Tourist - Ali and Ozkan make you feel at home and are very helpful with any queries or solutions you may seek.
Breakfast can be had at the café below the hotel, a haircut from the barber round the corner, clothes cleaning from nearby Hark Camarcirhane, super market is a stone throw away and if you're feeling hungry at anytime Deniz Lokantasi is across the road.
I would also recommend visiting the park near the Kasim Pasa pier to play and love the City Cats and Kittens that live there.
Will be coming back soon Not enough time to stay any longer and explore more of the city, there's always next time.
- James (8/5): Very good - the reception staff are very helpful
- James (8/5): convient location very reasonable price helpful staff - the person on the front desk went out of his way tobe helpful
- Sandip (8/5): - I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and it was so noisy you could hear other people's phone ringing or they having a chat with their friends or family. I could not sleep well. Also, no hairdryer was provided. There is no bedside plug so you cannot use your phone or laptop whilst lying down on your bed. Also, I heard sex noise from the adjacent room at 2 AM and the bed squeaky bed noise.
Not sure if the hotel allows guests as one of my friend wanted to come and visit me whilst I was on holiday. So please check that before.
Positive comment - The staff in reception helped me measure my luggage weight with a scale as I was worried about it being overweight.
Negative - Taxi drivers struggle to find this hotel as I used taxi 6 times during my stay and they could only locate it 1/6 times.
- Mariia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Neil (10/5): - The staff are great. The room is comfortable, with a view. The Wi-Fi is terrible, though. I can't stream shows. It's OK to watch Turkish television; there is cable. The neighborhood is lovely. It's inexpensive but close to Taksim if you walk up a steep hill. Overall I'm pleased, especially for the cost.
- Alon (7/5): Good -
- Anton (6/5): I needed a clean place to sleep a night alone, and I got it - Good location, groceries and several small restaurants are nearby
There is a good AC in the room, clean beds, one towel
No toothbrush or paste, but you can find it in the groceries
Wifi is working ok
The receptionist is nice and welcoming I would recommend to provide a free ear plugs, as the walls are thin, and if somebody watch TV till late - there is no way to sleep
- Leon (4/5): Very bad experience - Located not far from the center. Great restaurant nearby. Inexpensive area. The staff is very pleasant, though i couldn't solve various issues. The price is very good. The cigarette smoke enters the room from neighbors, through gaps around the door and from the bathroom window, which doesn't close. The locals play cards and smoke in the street adjacent to the hotel room wall. Each night, the noise and smoke kept me awake and suffocated me. Couldn't breed. The room was always full of smoke. The receptionists claimed they can't guarantee that other rooms will be better. Guests don't follow rules and smoke, and the neighbors around the hotel smoke every day. Not a healthy environment.
In addition there are three mosques around the hotel and they call for prayer with speakers four times each day, starting at 5:30 in the morning. Difficult to stay asleep for a tourist.
The mattresses are thin and overused, spring type, which dig into the body. There is a step in the door opening to the bathroom which is a potential tripping hazard. There is only one electrical outlet in the room, to be used either for the frig, tv or phone charging. Not convenient. The walls are scratched and need painting. The tv is fixed to the wall and it's not possible to watch it from bed. The tv is tiny. The floor is overused. The entrance door is not tight. It rattles and makes noise when other people use the elevator or shut their doors. One can hear everything. There are many other issues. Too many to list here. A dump, not fit for living in. Not a healthy environment. The smoke is a serious problem.
No phone in the room, no possibility to contact reception in case of emergency or anything else.
One night, a guest awoke me at 5 in the morning. He was apparently drunk and screamed for more than an hour, walking in the hall between all rooms, banging and eventually breaking frig and window in his room, as I was told by reception the next morning. It was a terror morning. All the guests talked about it the next morning.
- Hector (10/5): - Muy recomendable,
- Said (4/5): - Too much noise, elevator makes lotta noise to many people yelling, not clean
- Thomas (10/5): - Staff were very friendly and accommodating, close to lots of public transportation and dining options
- Thị (8/5): My journey was great. - The staffs are friendly, kind-hearted. Only 1 socket in the room. When i charged the phone, the fride didn't work.
- Mary (8/5): I stayed one week and decided to book another week because I was comfortable and felt safe. - Staff was very professional and helpful. The location is very close to the ferries and 15 minutes walk to Istiklal street. The room is a good value for the money. Lots of restaurants and stores are minutes away. There wasn’t a tea kettle in the room.
- Serge (10/5): Exceptional - All Nothing
- Ali (8/5): Very good -
- Mikhail (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was good!
- Oxana (9/5): Superb -
- Ali Ahmed (10/5): - Very helpful staff & extremely convenient to walk to Taxim Square (15 mins) & Sultanahmet Area (45mins).
Very good bus, metro and ferry (kasimpasa) routes.
Uskan (or Oskan) sorry if I misspelt & Ali know the area inside out.
Staff also have a very good knowledge of Turkey in general 👍.
- Sajal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (8/5): - Perfect for solo travelers on a budget. Neighborhood is a 10 minute walk from the metro, if that, and has multiple restaurants across the street. The hotel does not have laundry services but there is a laundromat a minute away with reasonable prices.
Rooms had AC.
Would stay here again.
- Hassan (5/5): Passable - Clean Internet, bin, tissues, waterbottles nothing was in there
- Lorenzo (8/5): Very good - Good location about 600m from galata tower. Close to all the facilities and restaurants. Stuff very friendly especially the day turn guy!
- Nnaemeka (10/5): Exceptional - Everything The staff are very good
- mahtaleb (10/5): Very good hotel - The hotel is really good according to the moderate price.
The rooms are modest but nice.
The most important is the a/c works perfect.
The staff are very kind specially Ozkan, very helpful and speaks good English.
Maintenance very quick.
Location is very good.
I recommend it for low budget travelers.
Rarely to like a low budget hotel and in fact I am am a hard satisfies person even though really i liked it.
- Alpe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (5/5): Like I said good value for the price - Good value for the price Nothing really a bit dated and bare minimum in the room
- Nnaemeka (10/5): Huzur hotel is a place to stay. Very close to bustop. The rooms and environment are nice. Good hospi - I love the hospitality of the staff especially Ozkan. He is a great guy. He is a brother. Nothing really
- Jelin (7/5): Good - Hygiëne Bed was of low quality
