• Patrizia (7/5): Logement spacieux et très bien situé - Très bon emplacement . Proche du centre-ville. Le petit déjeuner servi chez le voisin Mario est agréable. La rue est circulante. Il y a pas mal de passage et le vitrage n’est pas isolant La cafetière à capsules fuyait la rendant inutilisable. La pièce de vie manque de lumière. Un rafraîchissement serait bienvenu. Impressionnant stock de biscottes et thé 🤷‍♀️

• Ulrike (7/5): Zentrale Lage, guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. - Die Unterkunft besitzt eine tolle Lage, mitten in der Altstadt von Funchal. Von dort aus sind zu Fuß viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen. Der Vermieter Edgar ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Außerdem ist die Möglichkeit im Rusticus zu frühstücken sehr angenehm. Das Bett war für zwei Personen zu schmal.

• NeilRJ (1/5): Not a good apartment - Friendly and helpful nature of the host. Great location Let me start with facilities advertised that did not exist. Bathrobes, No Dining area within the living area, No TV Streaming service (like netflix) No Hardwood/Parquet floor, No Soundproofing, No Room Service, No Outdoor view, No Detached Building, No ATM Cash Machine onsite, No (not even a site) Luggage storage, No Allergy-free room, No (extremely dusty) Safety deposit box, broken. However, the property manager, Edgar, was great. Excellent communication and could not be more helpful. The location was also great, just a short walk from anything you might need. Unfortunately, the property is tired and badly furnished, the website pictures do not reflect this. The sofa (bed) was very uncomfortable to sit on. The bed was not much better. Light switches are awkward and not well placed in the apartment. Getting from the bedroom to the bathroom at night is hazardous in the dark. We ended up leaving the stairwell light on as there are no light switches near the bedroom. The bathroom smells awful probably due to drainage issues and the shower is full of mould and limescale. It was not pleasant to use. The towels provided were very old and not changed during the seven day stay. The kitchen is reached by a very narrow spiral staircase, totally unsuitable for very young or elderly guests or those of a larger size. The coffee machine requires a specific type of pod, not provided. The apartment was extremely noisy at night due to road traffic and people having loud conversations outside. We could also hear conversations in the next apartment through the wall. The apartment is very dark without the shutters open during the day. The office opposite looks directly into the bedroom and lounge so no privacy without the shutters closed. The apartment appears to be a conversion of either retail or office space, completed on as low a budget as possible. Not, in my opinion, suitable as accommodation. I cannot recommend this property.

Sogar eine Waschmaschine war vorhanden . sonst war alles sauber . die Lage war super zentral zum Parkhaus . Ein großer Supermarkt war auch gleich in der Nähe . Also für selbst Versorger ideal . das Frühstück hatten wir in der darunter liegenden Gaststätte bzw. wurde es extra für uns eingekauft als diese zu hatte . der Verwalter Edgar ist unfassbar net und zu vorkommend . Er hat sich um alles sofort gekümmert und uns mit Tipps für unsere Reise versorgt. The kitchen was very well equipped compared to other apartments I've seen. There was even a washing machine. Otherwise, everything was clean. The location was super central to the parking garage. A large supermarket was also nearby, making it ideal for self-catering. We had breakfast in the restaurant below, or rather, it was bought especially for us when it was closed. The manager, Edgar, is incredibly nice and accommodating. He took care of everything immediately and provided us with tips for our trip. auf Grund der zentralen Lage ist auch die Geräuschkulisse teilweise extrem laut , da die Fenster nicht wirklich die Lautstärke dämpfen . Das Bett für mich etwas unbequem . das Frühstück im Restaurant war etwas wenig für mich aber trotzdem gut Due to the central location, the background noise can be extremely loud at times, as the windows don't really dampen the noise. The bed was a bit uncomfortable for me. The breakfast in the restaurant was a bit small for me, but still good.
• Aleksandra (10/5): Wszystko czego potrzeba w samym centrum Funchal - W pełni wyposażone mieszkanie, jest nawet pralka. Lokalizacja super, w samym centrum Funchal. Gościnność gospodarza nieoceniona. Na start lokalne wino, ciasteczka i butelka wody. Śniadania podawane w restauracji obok drzwi wejściowych. W kuchni do dyspozycji herbaty, kawy i inne podstawowe produkty. Ucieszyłoby nas trochę więcej warzyw do śniadania :)

• Irena (9/5): Great stay in Funchal - The location was perfect. It is very close to the center and at the same time on a very quiet street. You are close to everything. The host is very responsive and supportive. If you are by car there is good paid parking nearby. The place has everything necessary for a long stay. Very well equipped kitchen, and the rooms are big.

I did not like the bed in the living room which was a little bit uncomfortable but doable. Also, the breakfast is very delicious, although the same sandwhich every morning.

• Lisa (9/5): Very good - We had a very pleasant stay in Fuchal, the flat was big enough for three. The street in front of the house is unfortunately not as quiet, but we still slept well. The communication in advance was very reliable and friendly. Below the flat is a small restaurant owned by the landlord, where a small breakfast is served on weekdays. It is highly recommended to stop by for lunch as well, because he serves very tasty, fresh and inexpensive food - lovingly prepared by the landlord himself. We can recommend the accommodation and would come again. A little more cleanliness would have been even nicer :)
