Guest Reviews
- Oshadee (7/5): Good -
- Maria (8/5): Bra hotell - Vi bodde 4 nätter för att dyka. Hotellet och personalen uppfyllde våra behov. Lyhört och ganska små rum men rent och funktionellt.
- Chris (1/5): Appallingly bad - left early as it was not relaxing at the hotel. Dive team fantastic though! - Dive centre and team. Really excellent. Hotel incredibly noisy from lots of small children who were there are running out of control. Hotels says they were guests but one of the staff members said they were connected to the hotel and two of them did seem to appear in the hotel video which was running all the time in the restaurant. Worst of all though, the hotel did nothing about it despite being asked to do so. Couldn't sit and have a nice evening mean in the restaurant as it felt more like McDonalds on a Saturday lunchtime, and couldn't use the pool when we wanted to as the kids had taken over it. Would never go to this hotel again, particularly given that the staff did nothing about it despite being asked to.
- Benjamin (6/5): Over-priced comfortable Hotel - The hotel is located in a quiet street. It is rather modern and clean.
Beds are comfortable and the hotel installed water fountains in the corridors so no need to purchase bottles of water.
The restaurant is good with a large selection of dishes.
The PADI staff is professional and the diving equipment is well maintained.
There is an old snooker table which is fun for the kids. The swimming pool is small and the water blurry. It should be seen only to take PADI lessons.
There is no beach next to the hotel so unless you take a taxi (who is going to cheat you) or a boat, one cannot go swimming (which is a pity for the region).
The room and restaurant prices are unjustified. It should be at least cut by half.
Having said that the region is over-priced. Everything costs a fortune while the town is undeveloped and not really tourist friendly.
Nothing to do with the hotel but I would advise go to the Komodo Islands instead of Raja Ampat which is a tourist (bad) trap.
- Michael (10/5): - The staff and quality of food were excellent,
- Andrew (10/5): Worth the little extra to enjoy the amenities, food and services as nd great for a wind-down after our island hoping adv - Fantastic stay! Comfortable and clean rooms, bedding and en-suites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of food options and fully stocked pool bar was great. Really nice pool to laze around and they even help with motorcycle hire to explore the surrounding area with suggestions for sightseeing and nice local restaurants. Ride to Blue river is a must! Rooms are a little small but not a problem as the conditioning work fantastic
- Franziska (10/5): - Sehr gute Unterkunft für Tauchausflüge, hervorragende Boot und Tauchausrüstung.
Sehr gute Guides
- Noahwillow (9/5): Superb -
- Faisal (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (10/5): A great introduction to Raja Ampat supported by friendly and helpful people. - Meridian is a great way for people who have not been to Raja Ampat to get introduced to what the area has to offer without committing to more local accommodation. The property, food and location were fantastic. The people who looked after us made the stay really homely. Thank you. I cannot think of anything that we did not like.
- Anu (8/5): Very good -
- Sirenacansone (7/5): Good -
- bernard (10/5): - Excellent staff and property. I would only recommend having more variety on the menu, since it is very limited.
The local and expat staff is absolutely awesome!
- Tiffany (9/5): We had an enjoyable stay, really enjoyed the no shoe policy as well as the barbecue on NYE. - it was new, clean and modern. the restaurant didn’t have that many vegetarian options
- Jiang (8/5): - Best choice in the town. Great diving boats.
But the menu is boring. You have to choose pretty much one out of the 6 options thru out the stay. Pool was not designed to be emptied for cleaning. They used chloride instead.
