• giguere (10/5): Beautifully restful - an Italian countryside paradise. - We had such a wonderful stay at the Masseria San Michele. I was there with my husband, children and mother in law so we booked to rooms. They set us up right next door to each other which was perfect. The rooms are virtually sound proof which is a huge plus if you want a good nights sleep. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff are exceptional. We were there in November so didn’t get to use the pool but the property was still so beautiful that we enjoyed sipping wine and playing bocce. I highly recommend this place. Nothing

Eleanora warmly greeted us upon arrival even though we were running late and gave us a tour of the property so we can find out. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our room was large and spacious extremely clean and comfortable. Because we had been traveling for so long , Nicoletta arranged for our laundry to be done overnight which was so helpful as we had to sadly leave the next morning. this was the perfect homebase for our visit to the local towns Martina Franca, Alberobello, Polignano Amare , Cisternino, Ostuni, Monopoli Thank you for a wonderful stay! • M. (10/5): Beautiful, luxurious-feel and very relaxing stay! - Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, shown to our room and given a tour of the grounds. The Masseria, rooms, couryard, swimmingpool...everyting looks beautiful and well maintained, truly the perfect romantic spot to unwind and relax. Breakfast is delicious with plenty to choose from. The staff are very friendly and approachable and always willing to help, give tips or prepare a delicious lunch. The location is perfect, close to the town of Martina Franca and a short drive from Locorotondo, Alberobello or Ostuni, for example. We will definitely be back! Everyting was GREAT! On a personal level, because it is so beautiful and peaceful, I wouldn't have mind if this was an adults-only accommodation. I love children, just think there are better options for travelling as a young family and allowing guests (mostly couples) to enjoy their peace and quiet. As I said, this is my personal opinion.

• Dee (9/5): Beautiful Masseria with space for relaxing and very helpful staff. - Staff at the masseria could not be more helpful. The property was clean with beautifully curated decor giving Ibiza vibes. Thanks to Nocoletta and Eleonora on reception for great recommendations of places to visit and good restaurants. The location is perfect for exploring Martina Franca, Locorotunda and Alberobello and there are plenty of places in the hotel for restful moments with a book or magazine. Nunzia presides over breakfast - high point is the local focaccia and cured meat selection. When we visited, the weather was awful! It was unusually cold and very wet. A lot of the property is designed for hot summer weather so we did have to wrap up warm over breakfast which was served on the Patio, a marquee with timber shading.... They don’t have a restaurant so venturing out to nearby Martina Franca to try the many recommendations is a must! Our room was lovely but because of the unseasonal weather, we were cold at night initially as there was just a blanket and sheet on the bed. The staff did add more blankets but it wasn't until the last night that a duvet was added. Everything else was splendid!

Breakfast was typical of the region and yummy! Perfect location to explore the region (we did Bari, Monopoli, Matera, Alberobello and then Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Ostuni -fell in love with the 3 latter- and there are so many more worth visiting). • Francesca (10/5): Alles in allem toll. - Ganz tolle masseria! Man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Tolle Ausstattung, tolles Ambiente, toller Pool Bereich und sehr sympathische Mitarbeiter. Außerdem toll gelegen, um wunderbare Orte wie Martina Franca, Locorotondo oder alberobello zu erkunden. Man kann super den halben Tag in der Sonne entspannen und dann abends die Städte erkunden. Frühstück ist grundsätzlich inbegriffen. Wenn man tagsüber die Zeit am Pool nutzen möchte, kann man sich frühzeitig für etwas zum Mittagessen anmelden. Abe darüber hinaus hat man keine Möglichkeiten, sich dort spontan Essen zu organisieren. Man kann sich jederzeit an Kaffee, Softdrinks und Wein (etc.) selbst bedienen. Aber es gibt tagsüber (und vor allem abends) keinen Service, dass man sich beispielsweise Aperitif oder Snacks bestellen kann. Da müsste man sich im Vorfeld im Notfall was vom Supermarkt schon mitbringen.

• Saenz (10/5): Un refugio perfecto en el corazón de Apulia - Nuestra estancia en Masseria San Michele fue, sencillamente, maravillosa. Situada en una zona estratégica del sur de Italia, rodeada de pueblos encantadores como Martina Franca, Locorotondo y Alberobello, la Masseria se convirtió en el punto de partida ideal para descubrir un territorio que nos sorprendió en cada rincón. Desde aquí accedimos cómodamente a joyas como Bari, Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, Lecce, Matera o Manduria, regresando cada día a lo que ya sentíamos como nuestra casa. El lugar es mágico. Una antigua casona italiana del siglo XIX, impecablemente restaurada y cuidada, que conserva su aire rústico y mediterráneo con paredes blancas, patios tranquilos, jardines y rincones llenos de autenticidad. La habitación era acogedora, los espacios comunes —el patio, la piscina, la pérgola con hamacas, la cantina con su vinería para servirte un café, un té o una copa de vino— transmiten calma y hospitalidad. Era fácil perder la noción del tiempo, como si estuviéramos en una casa propia, solo que con todos los detalles pensados para nuestro bienestar. El servicio fue impecable: discreto, amable y siempre atento. El desayuno, cada mañana, era un pequeño festín de sabores italianos, dulces y salados, frutas frescas y un café delicioso. No faltaba detalle. Y como compañeros inesperados tuvimos a Luna y Diana, los perros de la propiedad, y a Napoleón, un simpático gato que siempre se acercaba a saludar. Italia es un paraíso, y esta Masseria fue la pieza que hizo de nuestra experiencia un recuerdo imborrable. Es uno de los alojamientos más especiales en los que nos hemos hospedado: auténtico, bello y lleno de alma. Lo recomendaría sin reservas a cualquiera que quiera descubrir Apulia sintiéndose cuidado y a gusto en un lugar excepcional.

La posizione è strategica, ideale per esplorare i meravigliosi borghi pugliesi: tutto a portata di mano. La masseria è un’oasi di pace, con una piscina bellissima e zone relax immerse nel verde, perfette per rigenerarsi. La stanza era curata nei minimi dettagli, dotata di tutto il necessario e impreziosita da prodotti da bagno a base di olio d’oliva locale, un tocco autentico e raffinato che ho molto apprezzato. Esperienza davvero piacevole, da ripetere!

• cindy (10/5): Prachtige masseria - Het is een prachtig masseria. Mooie kamer, alles voorzien. Een prachtig domein met een mooi zwembad, goede ligzetels en stoeltjes. We konden ook genieten van de prachtige lounge ruimte! De wijnbar was de max, daar werd ook het overheerlijke ontbijt geserveerd. Er was vanalles te kiezen!!! De hinestybar is top! Wat weg van alles maar ons stoorde het helemaal niet.

Von der Ankunft mit einer kleinen Mahlzeit bis hin zum Abreisetag an dem wir noch bis Nachmittag weiter den Pool nutzen konnten war alles super. Der Garten und der dazugehörige Pool waren ein absoluter Traum. Eine kleine Ruheoase. Die Zimmer sind sehr stylisch und sehr sauber. Alles Wünsche wurden uns erfüllt. This beautifully restored masseria is full of charm and attention to detail, creating a truly special atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The pool area is beautiful, with a spacious lawn dotted with trees that offer plenty of shade and a peaceful setting to relax. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the Apulian sun. The rooms are beautifully designed, stylish yet authentic, and very comfortable. Each space feels thoughtfully curated, and the whole property has a warm, welcoming feel. One of the real highlights was the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. They genuinely go out of their way to make sure every guest feels at home and try to fulfill every wish with a smile. We felt incredibly comfortable throughout our stay and especially appreciated the peace and quiet of the surroundings. At the same time, the location was ideal for us – a great base for exploring the beautiful towns and countryside of the region. -

• Carla (8/5): - La struttura mi ha colpita positivamente. Stanza molto ampia e assolutamente pulita, molto curata nel complesso. Migliorerei solo 2 aspetti: 1. le tende dovrebbero essere davvero oscuranti, ora invece non lo sono e quindi ci si sveglia con le prime luci dell'alba; 2. dovrebbe essere specificato che gli animali possono essere lasciati liberi in struttura. Non avrei nulla in contrario leggendolo, ma non la sceglierei per un viaggio date le mie caratteristiche personali: benché il proprietario di un cane dica "ma non fa nulla" io non voglio che mi tocchi gli asciugamani, che mi corra incontro o che lecchi i giochi di mio figlio. Per cui gli ospiti devono essere informati prima in modo da poter scegliere. Nonostante all'arrivo io abbia esplicitato di aver paura dei cani e mi sia stato detto "nessun problema, li chiudiamo", mi è comunque capitato che mi sia corso incontro un cane di un visitatore, che si sia strusciato sul mio asciugamano in piscina, che abbia spaventato il bambino e appunto sporcato i suoi giochi e che io sia pure stata invitata a stare calma perché "non fa niente", ma vorrei decidere io l'effetto che un animale mi fa, se possibile... stessa cosa mi è capitato con uno dei cani della proprietà. Al netto di questa considerazioni personali, la struttura è molto buona
• aleksandra (8/5): Schöne Masseria - aber sicher verbesserungsfähig! - Die Masseria ist sehr schön gestaltet mit einem einladenden Patio, einem schönen Garten mit kleinem nicht beheiztem Pool. Wir fanden das Frühstück sehr lecker und das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Betten und die Kissen waren sehr bequem. Leider hat es während unseres Aufenthaltes etwas geregnet und es war kalt- dafür kann die Masseria nichts. Aber alle Dinge, die die Masseria anbot, um sich den Aufenthalt auch bei kühlem Wetter zu versüßen, waren kaputt oder es fehlten Teile- wie zum Beispiel fehlte der Federball fürs Badminton, Sportgeräte waren verrostet und veraltet, Paddel hatte nur einen Schläger. Obwohl ich dies anmerkte, wurde kein Ersatz besorgt- zur Enttäuschung der Kinder! Es gab auch keine anderen Dinge mit denen man sich beschäftigen konnte, wie zum Beispiel Gesellschaftsspiele. zum Glück hatten wir eigene Spiele dabei. Aber da es so kalt war, hätten wir uns zumindest Decken oder ein Feuerchen gewünscht, um die schönen Räumlichkeiten zu geniessen oder zu lesen. So waren wir leider gezwungen, mit dem Auto irgendwo hin zu fahren und nach Beschäftigungen für die Kinder zu suchen oder auf dem (kleinen) Zimmer zu sitzen. Und das eben auch Abends, nachdem die Kinder schon schliefen. Ich denke, das Hotel selbst hätte es wenig Mühe gescheut, um die gemeinschaftlichen Räumlichkeiten so zu gestalten, das man sich auch bei mäßigem Wetter gerne dort aufhält. Unangenehm aufgefallen war uns auch, dass am ersten Tag nicht die gelisteten Weine in der Honesty Bar vorhanden waren, sondern nur EINE Sorte, die eben nicht auf der Liste war. Uns hat der Wein nicht geschmeckt. Auf unsere Anmerkung hin wurde der Kühlschrank aber am nächsten Tag aufgefüllt. Insgesamt hatten wir den Eindruck, das man es hier eher auf Events und Hochzeiten abzielt als auf Touristen, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen. Was sehr schade ist, weil man mehr draus machen könnte. Unser Fazit also: Eher was fürs Auge als fürs wirkliche Wohlfühlen in einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse.

Lorenzo, Roberta, Eleonora, Nicoleta, Cecilia & Alessio vous accueillent de façon incroyable, avec le sourire, une franche bonne humeur, et sont au petit soin avec vous, dans cette magnifique Masseria au jardin arboré et à la décoration superbe.

The owner, Lorenzo, the wonderful team, Nicoletta & Eleonora, were like family and were a pleasure to see everyday! The grounds were stunning and decorated perfectly in every square inch. The breakfast was outstanding, the coffee bar was a wonderful touch for us who enjoy our morning espresso and iced espresso by the pool everyday! The rooms were cozy, bedding was divine and we had the best sleeps during our time at the Masseria. It was spacious and pristine!

• Sian (10/5): - Masseria San Michele has to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. From all the little design touches to the gorgeous breakfast spread, the sweetest dogs and little cat, and the pool area - everything was perfect! I especially loved the bathrooms which were gorgeously decorated, filled with local organic products and a great shower. The bed was super comfortable too - and each of the rooms have their own little patio area with a comfy area and a table. The staff were lovely and made my visit extra special, arranging a massage for the day of my arrival, a horse ride in the countryside nearby, wine tasting and transfers to and from Martina Franca! The only one thing that could make it better for me is the option to have dinner in. I would recommend staying here to anyone!
