- Tarabene (10/5): - The host welcomed us and shared great tips and recommendations to visit in surrounding area and Sicily in general. Thank you! The accommodation had everything, as written in the description.
- Paulina (4/5): Maybe look for something better - Nice location, if you have a car. Nice interior. The owner was moody from the first talk and made inappropriate jokes when we asked which key to use for the gate and home. All communication later was very slow. We asked for an extra blanket and received it the next day. There was a problem with parking, and we received a reply after an hour. The apartment was a little cold. The air conditioner was quite old and made noises, so it was very hard to use at night. The extra blanket that was in the room was a rather dusty, big rug, not a cozy blanket. There was a lot of locked furniture that you couldn't use; only one part of the wardrobe was open with a few hangers in it. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed, which was old and worn off. The TV was constantly freezing, so there was no point in using it. There was no telephone connection inside the apartment, only Wi-Fi. There was a very small electric kettle, for a few cups. Some of the plates and cups were not clean. Also, there was no baking paper, no oven mitts, and only one worn-off plastic cutting board. There should also be more mirrors in the apartment, not only one mirror in the bathroom, an iron, and a kitchen towel or at least more paper towels left for guests. Additionally, if you want your guests to sort waste, put about five different normal-sized bins in the kitchen, instead of sending some kind of trash schedule without explanation. Moreover, the apartment had very bad sound insulation; we heard people talking until midnight. And finally, there must be a lock that only guests can use to lock the doors from inside, because the owners live in the same house and they lock doors only from their side, so you cannot feel safe during your stay.

- Modestas (9/5): Pleasant stay, with some minor improvements - Overall, our stay was pleasant. There are a few things that could be improved, but they didn't upset us to disturb the holiday mood. Everything was provided as described and the towels were even refreshed at the middle of our stay. The trash recycling system wasn't explained before hand and it was unclear what to do with it. The owners live upstairs and the apartments are joined by a staircase behind locked wooden door next to the bed. That in itself is ok, but we had a situation where the owners came in for towel changing without clear communication before hand. They knocked repeatedly and waited for a bit before entering, but it still startled us as we were not expecting anything. Not exactly the owner's fault, but there is a loose sewer grate just outside the apartment, which causes immense sound every time a car passes. This frequently jump scared us during the night even though all windows were closed. Lastly, the apartment was a bit dark.

- Hasan (10/5): - The place is lovely and the owner is a lovely lady that help with everything you need. We came quite late and she wait for us. Just remember that the place is not in a city center, you need to drive like 10 minutes to the main road and than you can go to a "bugger" town
- Massimiliano (10/5): Appartamento ben fornito e host gentilissimo! - Appartamento dotato di tutto il necessario e con ottimo impianto di climatizzazione in tutte le stanze. Il parcheggio in area riservata davanti all’appartamento è comodissimo ma soprattutto l’host Gregorio è stato di una gentilezza incredibile. Il nostro aereo ha ritardato e ci ha fatto arrivare in tarda notte ma lui è stato disponibile fino a molto tardi per farci entrare. Inoltre è stato estremamente gentile nell’aiutarci con una piccola richiesta di aiuto estemporanea. Nulla da ridire, prenotate sereni! É stato tutto perfetto

- Madalina (7/5): Large space, quiet area, the car is a must to get to main Aci Castello - - very large room, didn’t feel crowded at wall - large kitchen area, fully equipped - nice patio - quiet neighbourhood - late check-in allowed - free parking (not in front of the door, but 1 min walking distance away, very convenient) - appreciated the board games - decorated in a traditional style, very nice - the description on Booking says “one bedroom, one living room” — this is misleading, since the entire space is a big open space, there are no doors between the “bedroom” and the”living room” area. I wouldn’t have booked this accommodation if it would have been clearly stated this fact. - the description on Booking also says “breakfast available, pay at the property” - this was another reason for choosing this facility and it also proved wrong. No breakfast option available onsite or even nearby. - the location itself is very nice, in a complex of similar apartments, but it is far from the beach. - Aci Castello is the opposite of “stroller friendly” or even pedestrian friendly. We tried to reach the beach promenade by foot, with the stroller, we thought it would be a nice 30 min morning walk through the city, but this completely ruined our day. There are no sidewalks for pedestrians, you have to walk on the street, with the cars passing next to you. It was very stressful. I recommend taking the car and parking it to the castle and only walk on the Riviera dei Ciclopi, if you have a baby with you. - Agressive Mosquitoes in the patio, unfortunately we could not stay there in the evenings.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Struttura piccola ma ben arredata. Climatizzatore in camera da letto, pale in soggiorno, i locali bagno e soggiorno tendono a riscaldarsi. Situata al piano primo con accesso tramite scale strette e traballanti. Colazione buona offerta presso bar convenzionato. Tre chiavi per accedere alla struttura più telecomando per cancello esterno. Fate attenzione alla chiave del cancello interno che entra anche nella serratura della porta più interna. A noi è successo di romperla e abbiamo dovuto pagare 50€ per far intervenire il tecnico per rimuovere la chiave rotta.

Ich habe mich vor der Anreise erkundigt, was wir im Umgebung besuchen können, musste ich aber nicht, weil Simonnette hat uns jeden Tag Ausflugstipps gegeben. Wirklich empfehlenswert !!
