- 813nitina (10/5): Wonderful comfortable stay at JP Cottage, Mahabaleshwar - The hotel is conveniently located with most of the tourist points and places located nearby or within convenient driving distance. The hotel rooms are neat and clean. Dilip from Housekeeping did a wonderful job in keeping the room clean daily. The food at the restaurant and breakfast was tasty. Sunil and Rajesh from the restaurant were very prompt and efficient in their services at the restaurant. Usually the hotel rooms in several Mahabaleshwar hotels are relatively small or optimal. But the deluxe room with balcony at JP Cottage was quite big and comfortable for staying. Overall a good experience at JP Cottage, Mahabaleshwar !!!!

The rooms are just about average with old linen. The food is good if you use the restaurant. The roomnservice boys are underaage and still employed! Initially was given a room which was unkempt and dusty despite knowing that there was a baby. Most of the fixtures are worn out. There is a small scary swimming pool with slimy sources . Premium price was paid as the booking was made online to find a disappoinng service! However the cream of it all is the front desk. Very prompt but helpless guys. Surely not their fault. Will avoid. Local transport is a nightmare if you don't go by a car.

It is 10min drive from Mapro Gardens, 5min from Veena lake and 2min from Lingmala waterfall. Definitely a great option to stay when in Mahabaleshwar. - Ashish (8/5): Cushy accommodation and plentiful food - Gorgeous flowers in vibrant and exotic blooms are laid in the flowerbeds. The rooms are warm and comfortable. Everything is perfect and in its place. The bathroom is commodious with Cera fittings and shampoo, soap, moisturizer are provided for. The night is as cold as ever. So carry shoes and stockings for adjusting and acclimating. We scarfed down the hearty healthy breakfast of poha, aloo parathas, Puri sabji in the mornings. They don't have a restaurant in the premises but their kitchen makes lunch and dinner as per the menu card and they serve it to your room. Only disadvantage is that it is far from the market.
