Guest Reviews
- Nick (9/5): -
- Karen (8/5): - Good friendly staff and good customer service. Room very clean and tidy. Beds are a little uncomfortable but that could be personal preference.
- Gulisano (7/5): -
- Christophe (10/5): An excellent base for access to Warwick and Stratford upon Avon - The rooms were self contained and had everything we needed Everything was good
- Jane (9/5): Great and friendly hosts in a good location - Good food and very friendly hosts . Well located for visiting the area. Loved the authentic curry menu
- Wendy (8/5): Lovely stay, excellent food, will be back. - Lovely, clean tidy Nothing
- Iain (9/5): Relaxing with great food - The room annexe was across the car park from the main building, there was a large garn backing onto fields all very relaxing.
There was a good breakfast using good quality ingrediants.
The evening meals were amazing an d very different from normal indian restaurant fayre. There were some english dished on the menu but we stuck to the Indian dishes and the Indian Street Food was amazing and so favoursome. Nothing of note.
- Vanessa (8/5): - Breakfast was good, dinner was excellent. The room was a little dated and basic. It could have been cleaner, there was a lot of dust on the blinds. The bathroom was big but could do with a shelf to put your toiletries on. Shower was excellent with plenty of hot water but had a really small shower head. Liked that there was a fridge in the room. The traffic noise was terrible as it is near a busy main road. The traffic noise from the main busy road.
- S (8/5): Had a lovely stay and will definitely return - Everything was absolutely great, all the staff were friendly and attentive, the indian evening meal was delicious and everywhere spotlessly clean. Room was very comfortable and breakfast superb.
- Mark (9/5): A pleasant surprise, a Gem, will definitely stay again😊 - The room was clean with free water, toilettes, tea and coffee making extra pillows parking right outside your door, friendly welcoming staff, good food, plenty of choices foe evening meal, breakfast was freshly cooked, with fruit juices and freshly brewed coffee, English breakfast tea in a pot. The bed was a little small and the kettle needed to be replaced
- Gamble (6/5): Not 4 star!!! - it looked nice from the outside of hotel.bed big and comfy Rooms need redecorated. too noisy from the road. burns on carpet, furniture all chipped. not 4 star
- Jasmine (10/5): -
- Richard (5/5): - Location, staff and food Breakfast served too late. Offering alternative the night before is inadequate. Most people are at work but 07:30 so not starting breakfast until then is poor. Breakfast should be ready and started by 06:30. That would be better for all.
- Roger (10/5): A warn friendly place to stay with lots to do in the local area. - From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome, the staff were absolutely fantastic, full of smiles, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The evening meal was first class, (best indian food we have ever eaten). The breakfast was freshly cooked and served at the table by smiling staff. We didn't enjoy having to leave after just one night, but we will be back.
- Michael (9/5): Even with the road noise it was an enjoyable stay - Accommodation, pub ,food, staff location all excellent. Very dog friendly. Only issue road noise due to very busy road. I cannot see how this could be resolved .
- Lynne (9/5): A nice surprise - Very comfortable rooms, clean and tidy with every thing you need. Well maintained. We only had starters as we were so tired on arrival, but the food was excellent, as was breakfast. Scrambled eggs cooked properly, not done in the microwave. All the staff we met were attentive, friendly and helpful. Nothing
- Alexandra (10/5): -
- Hannah (9/5): Excellent value for money - The staff and food were great! Location right by a main road
- Marc (8/5): -
- Susan (7/5): Hatton - Great location for us visiting friends and the pub itself and restaurant was warm and welcoming. Staff were lovely I think our room needed a bit of an upgrade to get the windows sound proofed. It is on a busy road
- Elaine (7/5): -
- David (9/5): - All good
- Andrew (7/5): Disappointing. - Evening food, breakfast. Unfortunately my wife was poorly and we only stayed one night instead of the two originally booked. The staff were accommodating with my request to take a piece of toast back to the room as my wife couldn’t make breakfast. When we left at 11.00am there was no inquiry into my wife’s heath. When we arrived home I noticed we had left our iPhone charger in the room and emailed them but to date didn’t get any reply. I also phoned and gave them all the details of the phone charger and room we stayed in and the gentleman said he would have a word with his colleague. Again to date we haven’t had a reply.
On another issue the rooms are in a small block across the car park near to a busy road and the traffic noise was all through the night. Such a shame as the staff we dealt with were all great.
- Cecil (8/5): -
- Michael (9/5): -
- Ben (6/5): - The staff were very friendly and polite and location of the hotel was perfect for my needs I wasn’t overly happy with the fact that room smelt of cigarette smoke which for a non-smoker is not enjoyable
- Nicola (8/5): Clean and comfortable with good food and service - Room comfortable and clean
Evening food lovely and service excellent Convenient, small, good food and service
- Jack (9/5): -
- Paul (9/5): Next door to a pub that serves excellent Indian cuisine. - Next to a pub Nothing
- Sabrina (8/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): - Has everything you could want Nothing

- Dean (10/5): Just excellent from start to finish - The Staff, Accomidation, the food and the atmosphere Beautiful looking and just so special
- Tracy (8/5): Housekeeping could be improved.... - Good location to Stratford Upon Avon.
Food in restaurant generally nice. The bedding could have been bigger so it was more comfortable. On arrival the bed did not even look made ( although the sheets were clean)
- Jackie (10/5): - Beautiful place very clean
Food to die for absolutely delicious
Lovely friendly staff definitely going again thank you
- Michael (10/5): -
- Nicola (6/5): Okay for what we needed - Beautiful property and location was great for what we needed Could do with a bit of a spruce up in the bedrooms and bathroom. On the busy Saturday night there was confusion with people’s meals, maybe need a bit more staff or reduce the menu to make it more manageable
- Dennis (9/5): -
- Tim (5/5): - The staff and food were very good The room was very noisy being as it was close to a main road, the web site said the rooms were sound proof but, that did not seem the case
- Emma (8/5): Cosy stay, nice rooms, good food. - Breakfast was a bit small but nicely cooked and presented.Room was cosy and warm. Upstairs movement quite noisy, creaky floors.
- Valerie (7/5): A pleasant place to stay with well equipped rooms. - The room was well equipped and our request to have a quiet room was dealt with as well as could be, considering that the property was on a very busy main road.
The staff were friendly and attentive in the restaurant. Service one morning at breakfast wasn’t up to standard as it was very busy in the restaurant (Saturday) and it would seem that lots of walkers use the hotel as a stopping place. Only one person was serving which wasn’t sufficient to deal with residents and others.
- David (2/5): A really bad experience - We booked for 4 nights. When we arrived they put us in an annex in the carpark which was next to a busy road and the noise from the traffic was intolerable and we could not sleep. We checked out after one night and are trying to get a refund for the remaining nights. We notice that the pictures on booking.com do not feature the annex and therefore misrepresent the accommodation. The pictures of the bedrooms show exposed beams as if the bedroom is in the main building and decorative order and quality of the rooms in the pictures are far superior to the actual annex room
- James (9/5): -
- Chris (10/5): Fantastic. - Great location for my work with a big car park. My room was spacious and warm, with a comfortable bed and good facilities. The food was superb, really tasty. The Indian restaurant attached was brilliant,. My breakfast was also very good and set me up for the day. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful, thank you all for your hospitality. Nothing
- Cheryl (2/5): Sorry would not stay again - easy parking The bed was awful, it wasn't a solid bed more makeshift, the quilt is too small, the windows do not block out the road as even though in the countryside its a main A road and the cars speed past so it was noisier than expected. The small fridge was a nice touch but it was nosey in the night so turned it off and the heating system sounds as though it has pouring water constantly. Sorry but would not stay again.
- Jan (10/5): Thank you again for accommodating us for our annual trip to the area. - Good location for visiting the surrounding area connecting easily with road networks. Comfortable rooms which were very clean and had tea coffee making facilities plus fridge. Nice breakfast cooked to order, and restaurant food was superb. We Particularly enjoy the option of the Indian or traditional menu. Nothing negative to say.
- Ruth (8/5): Relaxing, comfortable and good food - Clean, comfortable, breakfast was good. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Noise from the main road can be a bit much at night. Couldn’t have the window open without this being a problem but as it was cold outside that didn’t matter. Would be more of a problem in the summer.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Delicious food and fair pricing - Clean rooms. Breakfast included. Very nice restaurant - delicious curry. Also refreshing to see polite and conscientious younger staff taking pride in their roles. Plenty of free parking. Good location to explore Warwickshire, North Cotswolds and to see a play in Stratford. Personally I am less keen on motel style rooms/ accommodation.
- Rod (8/5): - Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming
- Christopher (8/5): -
- Gina (10/5): A destination in itself for a great curry! A gem of a place. - Location. Had an amazing authentic Indian restaurant attached (pub classics also available). We recommend the chefs specials. They were also celebrating Diwali which added atmosphere. Doggie friendly rooms and recommended walks for us too. Rooms in pretty cottage style block at the edge of car park. Host and staff were efficient and friendly and could advise on the menu choices. All great -
- Julie (7/5): The food and service are excellent. Rather noisy. - Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean. The restaurant was excellent; the food was very good and service was excellent. Whilst the choice of The Falcon was location we were not aware of proximity of the accomodation to the road. It was very noisy. Windows and door need to be refitted.
Also lots of creaking from upstairs of someone walking about.
- Guy (8/5): -
- Bernard (8/5): - All staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Very good breakfast - catered unfussily with dietary needs Bed was a little unforgiving for elderly bones !
- Peter (7/5): - Good location, decent size room. Very good service.
- David L (8/5): Used the Falcon several times; always good. - Very good north indian food in bar and restuarant.
- alan (10/5): - Friendly owner, very clean and comfortable and good bar and restaurant facilities
- Sharon (10/5): Delightful, Friend friendly staff and an excellent restaurant - Modern, clean very well run There is nothing negative about this property
- Sharon (8/5): Comfortable pleasant stay, superb restaurant and food. Staff very pleasant. - parking outside room That there was a room above us but there ate single story units available so would ask for one of them
next time
- Joel (10/5): Wonderful stay - Dinner and breakfast excellent. Parking right in front of room. Good size room and plugs. Staff very helpful.
- Jenny (8/5): Great place, lovely walk around in the countryside. Fantastic staff and brilliant food. Great value for money and would - The pub/restaurant is lovely, decor is beautiful and the hotel part is separate right across the car park in a separate sort of building of annex rooms. Loads of parking and all the facilities you need. The rooms were big, clean, had everything you need and the staff were fantastic!!! Could not fault them. The food was brilliant, dinner was amazing (Indian cuisine) and breakfast which was included was fantastic. We took my dog and he was welcomed and they even gave him a dog bowl. There was a bit of road noise but this does calm down from around 7pm and didn’t keep us awake. The rooms would benefit with more glazing on windows to help and maybe a bit bigger tv in rooms but none of that would stop us rebooking here!
- Sloan (9/5): -
- Chi Shan (8/5): - Good breakfast with clean bed, I am very satisfied.
- Nic (10/5): - Very quiet, cosy and spotlessly clean. Radiator in room in addition to a quality fan and Air conditioner made for a very comfortable stay. Great service from the staff and a lovely cooked breakfast focussing on quality rather than quantity.
Would highly recommend and will stay again as Visit the area regularly.
- Tessa (8/5): Fab place for people with dogs. Very welcome. Amazing food. - Friendly staff. Very dog friendly. AMAZING Indian food The pillows.
- Richard (10/5): - Great room. Superb breakfast and evening meal.
- ROBIN (9/5): Stay over on way to holiday. - The restaurant had great choice of food along with Indian cuisine. The staff were helpful and the hotel was in a quiet location. We felt that the room could do with some updating.
- Deborah (4/5): Disappointing. - Good location The 8.5 rating and good reviews of this accommodation is questionable. We spent a night at The Falcon after booking last minute. The room we were allocated was up a flight of stairs, I had prewarned them that I have an Assistance Dog and a disability. The stairs weren’t advertised at the time of booking. On arriving we were very disappointed with the accommodation. The carpets were stained, there were holes on the wall, the mini fridge wasn’t working, the Air con unit wasn’t effective, there was broken glass in the frame displaying the fire safety instructions. It was nothing like the photos online. We also got charged £10 for my Assistance Dog …in the UK this is illegal and breaches the Equality Act 2010. Being very tired from a long drive I was exhausted and not up to explaining the legal requirements to the man that checked us in.
- Victoria (8/5): - The food in the bar is excellent and the staff really pleasant and helpful.
Nice comfortable room.
- Joanne (8/5): Great location for our needs. - Staff very friendly and attentive. Speedy service with evening meal and breakfast. Carpet in room was stained in a couple of places.
- Mack (10/5): Satisfaction guaranteed 💯% - Absolutely amazing. The staff, the location, the food and beverages, and the icing on the cake....... DOG FRIENDLY ROOMS AND PUB!
Oh my God, this is the best place ever if you want comfort, great food and friendly happy staff. And a lovely place for your fur babies to feel welcomed and loved! Nothing!
- Marion (10/5): -
- Alan (10/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): -
- DavidC4321 (10/5): - Great accomodations & food Nothing
- John (10/5): Weekend outing to Hatton Country Park with friends - I was missing some information of the local area, the staff were very helpful with this and even came to my accommodation with the information, also a great breakfast.
- Sarah (10/5): Traditional country residence with an Indian twist - Bedrooms are in a seperate building to the main pub which was a nice surprise, Indian food exceptional, staff a little slow with taking orders and bringing drinks but we weren’t in a rush so not really an issue for us. Owner very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return
- Tomas (10/5): - Great middle-class hotel, staff extremely helpful and nice.
Room spacious, clean and comfortable
Recommend dinner (or lunch) in the restaurant. The Indian food was excellent
- Crystal (7/5): Pleasant and would definitely recommend the restaurant but Room 8 needs TLC. - Friendly, cheerful staff; gentleman kindly gave us a choice of rooms. Comfortable pub/restauarant. Lots of outdoor seating including a marquee with transparent sides which was nice to sit in after dinner.
The room included a fan and air con unit which were most appreciated as we visited during a heatwave.
All amenties were provided including extra pillows and a small fridge.
My husband enjoyed his cooked full English breakfast. The room (No 8) was disappointing. We chose it because it was furthest from the road. Still noisy but bearable. The main issue was the grey decor relieved only by 2 green chairs and one picture; marked/stained carpet; lots of marks on the wall; a small fridge with a hole stuffed with paper; and an overall tired bathroom. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy enough but it is looking old and in need of some tender loving care. Not worth as much as £118 when compared with the beautiful furnished characterful B&B we stayed at the next night in Warwick for only £120.
Minor point - In the pub there was not enough seating for people who just wanted to have a drink.
- Elizabeth (9/5): Comfortable stay at The Falcon - The staff were extremely welcoming and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable bed and good breakfast choices The room was a bit hot but a fan and air conditioning unit had been provided
- derek (10/5): Fabulous Asian experience. - Great Indian run hotel/restaurant serving both English and Indian food. Lovely staff and great atmosphere.
Room spacious and very clean.
Would stay again if passing through Warwick.
- LORRAINE (8/5): It was acceptable, you couldn't fault the dinner menu. - Everything was fine, the food at dinner was very good, it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles, there appeared to be only one young girl taking orders and serving and I had to ask twice for milk and my husband's full English had no fried egg on it.
- Jeffrey (8/5): Nice room with very good traditional Indian food. - The room was adequate with easy access. I could park my car right outside the room. The bathroom was good with good amenities. The dinner was traditional Indian with a great selection and great flavours. The twin beds were not the standard width and felt a little narrow. The carpet was stained and smelled a bit.
- Natalie (10/5): -
- Beverly (10/5): Great stop off - Restaurant choice of Indian or traditional food.
Opted for Indian and it was exceptional.
Staff were all super friendly and obliging. Rooms a little tired but clean.
Had to ask for table to be wiped down in the bar.
- Ann (6/5): Pleasant - Friendly staff in the restaurant. The carpet in the stairs and in the bedroom is very stained. Smell of stale cigarette smoke in the bedroom. Noise of traffic throughout the night.
- Andy (8/5): Very good -
- Morrison (6/5): - It is an island village lodge. Uber took an hour from Birmingham. In the middle of nowhere. No public transport. No walking space. Not near any other facilities. Ideal for overnight stop over when driving.
- Claire (6/5): Pleasant. - Staff were friendly. The location was perfect for my requirements and there were biscuits with the tea tray! There wasn’t a great selection of food at breakfast but I enjoyed my cooked breakfast. The room was outside in the car park. It was the closest to the road so road noises could be heard. The room smelt damp. There was a sock left by a previous guest and there was no hairdryer.
- Kent (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Superb all round.easy parking
Fridge in room as it was v warm
Great bathroom
Spacious room
Great breakfast Nothing was excellent
- Ghezzi1998 (8/5): Very good -
- Nick (10/5): Highly recommended! - A very pleasant overnight stay. Nice clean room (could park right outside!), lovely bar area and top notch Indian cuisine. Friendly, efficient staff - thanks especially to the delightful Ellie who looked after us at both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!
- Andrew (9/5): Excellent stay - The rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Especially pleased that there was a fridge in the room. A godsend during this warm weather. The restaurant was good, staff were friendly and parking right outside the room was ideal. With all the facilities the room had, there was no hairdryer.
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms were spotlessly clean as was the hotel and grounds. Food was excellent, both Indian and English menus. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Having to leave.
- CLIVE (10/5): Great times - Staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent.
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Good breakfast
- James (8/5): Good country Pub/Hotel esp if you like Indian Food - for the price it's good value, rooms aren't most plush and road can be a little noisy, but made up for by the restaurant and quality of the food and staff :) I'd stay again
- Jan (9/5): A great place to stay in the countryside and close to major road networks for easy travel. - The restaurant was superb. The Indian food was the best we have ever had and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was also a good selection of classic pub food.
