- fatma (1/5): À éviter - L’emplacement est top à côté de flatiron building Les chambres ne sont pas du tout au niveau d’un 4 étoiles avec changement de chambre durant le séjour que j’ai eu raccourcir pour aller ailleurs et changer d’hôtel. La 2eme chambre avait un système d’air conditionné entouré de scotch sur la fenêtre ce qui laissait passer l’air. Impossible de dormir j’étais frigorifiée

The first night, we were placed in a TINY room (even by NYC standards) directly above the building’s loud AC system. On top of that, a portable AC unit inside the room loudly blasted directly onto the bed that we couldn’t properly turn down or off (even after unplugging the thing). We barely slept and both got sick the next day from the cold air. To their credit, the staff moved us to a different room for the second night. The new room was a much more reasonable size and didn’t have the portable AC unit, so we thought the issue was solved. Unfortunately, we then discovered the AC in that room wasn’t actually cooling — the room stayed at 76 degrees all night... No sleep again. After paying close to $1,000 for two nights and getting almost no sleep either night, it was really disappointing. The hotel offered a small refund and a vague “upgrade on your next stay if available,” but I don’t think we’ll be returning. It’s a bummer because we genuinely loved the location and the overall vibe of the hotel. But at the end of the day, if you can’t sleep comfortably, it’s just not worth it.

We were picking our daughter up from college and she could stay with us once she had to leave the dorm. It made it easy so we could make it a longer trip and enjoy the city! Beds were comfy, space was perfect, decor was beautiful:) The bellman, Hero was fantastic! He was sweet, helpful & super funny! Total bonus! The morning jackhammering. Haha...totally out of their control. Welcome to NY! Really though, it was no big deal!

The size of the room was small, but was as advertised, however, the lighting in the room itself was far too dim, and some lights did not stay on completely, but instead of flickered which was disorienting.

The bathroom was _very_ small; there was barely enough room to use the toilet comfortably

Listed as soundproof - that needs to be changed. Single-paned windows let you hear every beep of a horn, siren, and loud engine at full volume.

Great restaurant within the hotel. Did not try any other facilities. Room was very small and dark. Did not get the room we booked. No view and very bad lighting.

Staff aren’t consistent, some are more nicer than others. They gave us the wrong room at first because we asked for an early check in, it was smaller and by an elevator, extremely loud. Rooms are small in general. Hot water took forever to heat up.

Nice bar on the second floor next to a chill zone also suitable for working. The water station in the lobby was very slow unlike the one in the gym.

Lighting is - Location, staff is friendly, when I went to leave my bag they checked me in early, easy to get a cab. Pretty empty.. relatively quiet. Bed was ok. Building is old & outdated, lack of security ,, someone not staying in hotel got in elevator with me, 3 elevators are tiny, deceiving pics on line of room & lobby etc, my room was tiny, had 1 window looking into shaft & other windows, dim lighting, lack of hot water, no cup in room to rinse ur mouth with, towels are itchy & stiff, door latch & chain barely secure door,, my door was open this morning w chain latch still on , i think i heard someone using their key to try & open my door last night probably by mistake, charging outlets in furniture didn’t work & overheated, desk top hot on top of refrigerator inside, thermostat hardly works, amazingly the tv guide I only seems to be accurate for news stations , both station & program on rest were totally off. Water dispenser in lobby slow as molasses. Books & radio take up desperately needed space .
