• Karin (10/5): Super zentral gelegene Wohnung - In diese Wohnung habe ich mich sofort verliebt.Die Anmeldung und Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte problemlos.Schon im Vorfeld konnte ich einen freundlichen und herzlichen Kontakt feststellen,der sich während meines Aufenthalts bestätigte und verstärkte.Die Wohnung liegt super zentral,direkt im der Altstadt.Nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt von sämtlichen Annehmlichkeiten,wie z.B. Busverbindungen,Einkaufsmöglichkeiten,Restaurants,Hafen,Touristeninformatio,......Einfach ideale Möglichkeiten,von der Wohnung aus Funchal kennenzulernen.Küche ist super ausgestattet (Mixer,Kaffeemaschine,Kocher,Waschmaschine,Toaster,Espressomaschine)und ausreichend für 2 Personen .Besonders möchte ich Edgar hervorheben,der sich nicht nur um die Übergabe liebevoll gekümmert hat.Er stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite,gab wertvolle Tipps,und half bei allen Fragen.Ihm wurde nie etwas zu viel,man spürte seine Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit.Dadurch wurde der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung auf der Insel Madeira zu einem vollen Genuss,den ich gern in Zukunft erneut erleben möchte. ........,daß die 3 Wochen Aufenthalt viel zu schnell vorüber waren 😲😩
• Csilla (1/5): Ez az apartman jelenlegi állapotában nem kiadható! Egészségre veszélyes!!!! - Központi elhelyezkedés. A kulcs átvételi, kedves fogadtatás! Rémálom volt !!!! A lakás több helyen beázva falak penészesek ,egészségre ártalmasak !!! Penészgomba allergiám van , amit azonnal jeleztem a szállásadó felé és kértem másik lakást ,ugyanis volt ! Még aznap is üres volt a Bookingon ! Ők hárítottak! Én fulladtam egy szerencsém volt ,hogy jó idő volt és állandóan nyitva volt az ablak és végig gyógyszereztem magam!Az ház mindkét oldalán és az utcán is épitési munkálatok folytak ,hang és por! meg is teszem a szükséges intézkedés a kártérítésért ! Fénykép és videó felvételek bizonyítják mindezt! Rendszeresen bookinggal utazom ,ez a szállés egy rémálom volt!!! Nyelvtudás hiányában voltunk kényteenek ezt elviselni !
• Nermina (10/5): Tolles großes Apartment im Herzen von Funchal - Wir hatten 8 wundervolle Tage in diesem tollen Apartment. Es war sehr komfortabel. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet mit modernen Bosch Geräten, die Betten im Obergeschoss sehr bequem. Die zwei Terassen haben uns den Aufenthalt noch zusätzlich versüsst, so konnte man immer die Morgensonne bei einem Kaffee genießen oder nachmittags nach den vielen Ausflügen bei einem Glas Wein entspannen. Die Lage ist absolut top, mitten in der Altstadt und doch sehr ruhig- genau das was wir gesucht haben. Das Wifi lief einwandfrei, im Wohnbereich sind Streamingdienste verfügbar. Abgerundet wurde der Aufenthalt von einen unglaublich herzlichen und netten Gastgeber, Edgar, der jederzeit für Fragen offen stand und umgehend geholfen hat. Wir bedanken uns für diese tolle Zeit und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

• Bianca (9/5): Heerlijk en centraal gelegen - Ruim en schoon appartement, van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk terras buiten. Rustige straat maar toch heel centraal gelegen en veel restaurantjes en barretjes in de buurt. Auto kun je goedkoop in openbare parkeergarage kwijt.
• Gerard (9/5): Wonderful Stay. - We were given information prior to arrival. Edgar, who met us, was extremely helpful and friendly. The property was well equipped and very centrally placed in Funchal. The 2 terraces were lovely. Some nice restaurants nearby. We didn’t realise there were stairs into the apartment as well as the internal stairs, which was fine for us but worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues.
• Kenneth (9/5): Well located property in Funchal city centre offering peace and quiet and a fair degree of comfort - Location of Cayres Suites was excellent for us in the centre of Funchal. It was ideally situated for ease of walking to events, shops and restaurants/cafes. There is also a convenient taxi rank. Also must mention a well placed luggage locker storage facility which was great for us after we had vacated the property. Within the property itself there was a large and well furnished private patio area. All of the expected amenities were made available. There was nothing that we did not like, and we will certainly return in the future.

• Heinz Jürgen (10/5): Top Lage - Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral und dennoch konnten wir ruhig und entspannt schlafen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben nichts vermisst. Besonders möchten wir uns bei Herrn Freitas bedanken, der uns professionell und sehr freundlich jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung stand.
• Michael (7/5): Bis auf ein Parr Mengel haben wir uns Wohlgefühlt - Lage war sehr gut um Funchal zu Fuß zu Erkunden . Edgar war sehr nett und Hilfsbereit und stand jeder Zeit zur Verfügung . Plaza mit sehr vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten unter Anderen auch für die Selbstverpflegung 10min Fußweg. Der Holz Camping Tisch im Wohnzimmer war für 2 Personen sehr klein um vernünftig darauf zu Frühstücken . Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer könnte moderner Sein da man sich am Eisen Untergestell sehr weh tun Konnte. Mann muss sehr aufpassen. Linkes Fenster war nur sehr schwer zu öffnen da es kein richtigen Verschluss Gab. Badezimmer Duschvorhang war aus Stoff und zu lang. Dieses ist keine negative Aussage es soll eventuell als Verbesserungsvorschlag gelten. Leider kann ich keine 10 Punkte geben da ich die Vermutung habe das es sich dabei um das 2 Größere Apartment handelt.

• Ewa (10/5): - Super apartament w centrum Funchal. Dwie sypialne, każda z łazienką, plus salon i wyposażony aneks kuchenny i dodatkowe WC. Dwa tarasy. Fajna okolica, blisko do sklepów, knajpek, na Stare Miasto i do portu. Dodatkowo przemiły i pomocny właściciel. Polecam! Naprawdę warto.
• Pia (8/5): Nette Familientage in Funchal Zentrum - Die Lage des Apartments ist toll, sehr zentral gelegen. Der Vermieter bzw. Agent war sehr freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Wir hatten uns versehentlich ausgesperrt und uns wurde gleich geholfen. Es gibt keinen Geschirrspüler und es gibt immer wieder einige kleine Ameisen. Nicht überall aber in ein paar Fugen.

• Michtravels (10/5): Modern Property in Madeira Old Town - Wonderful modern property with all the amenities of home. Location in old town in an easily walkable area near shops and restaurants. Property host was responsive and organized transfer to airport for 3am. Definitely would stay here again. Nothing.

• Leonie (10/5): Top! - Het appartement was op een centrale ligging. Restaurants, winkels en parkeermogelijkheden genoeg in de omgeving en allemaal goed bereikbaar. Alle faciliteiten in het appartement waren goed werkend en fijn. Er was gemakkelijk en fijn contact met de host. Het enige wat ik iets miste was een spiegel waarin ik mijzelf van top tot teen kan zien. Verder hebben we niks gemist.

Він оперативно вирішував усі додаткові питання, які виникали. Були придбані нові пляжні рушники, пристрої проти комарів. В апартаментах є все необхідне. Вони чудово розташовані в самому центрі міста Такого немає. Рекомендуємо орендувати авто для зручності мандрівок. Але зверніть увагу, якщо ви орендуєте авто найближчий зручний паркінг 300 метрів від номеру. Також не вистачає посудомийної машини.

The space is beautifully decorated, very clean, and equipped with everything you might need — from kitchen essentials to cozy bedding, a cute, chic apartment in the city center, you can reach anywhere in the city even on foot, the streets offer you a view and a special vibe that makes you forget all your worries. The host was incredibly responsive and kind, making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, style, and a worry-free experience. Looking forward to coming back! The location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, yet quiet enough to relax after a long day. I especially appreciated the natural light and the small touches that made the apartment feel like home. We used a rented car to go to see the rest of the island, so it is possible in both ways, either you stay local and enjoy the beauty of Funchal or you travel a little further and discover all the beauty of the island I wouldn't say i didn't like it but it would be necessary to have another mirror in the apartment 😊

It's obvious that the owner has never tried to sleep there. We were missing a few basic things (clothes dryer, etc). At night it was quite noisy from the street.

• Matthew (10/5): A fantastic apartment, wonderful stay in a great location - Stunning place. Absolutely lovely. Very well equipped and in a great location. Only slight issues - the terrace did not get much direct sun in january, because of the buildings around it. But think this is common in funchal. I struggled to get any level of useful sound from lounge tv, but fortunately had a bluetooth speaker i could connect to it. But it was one of the nicest apartments we have ever stayed in (we use airbnb a lot) and i would very highly recommend. Sound level very low on lounge tv, even at maximum.

Everything you need is in the apartment. We had the one bed and it was great. Basic but adequate furnishings. Edgar was extremely helpful during our stay-a brilliant host. No access to outside. Didn’t know there was no balcony or terrace.

• Kathryn (7/5): The apartment was let down by the cleanliness of the beds, bedding and towels! Edgar greeted us at the property and was - The location was excellent and the apartment was a good size. The cleanliness of the bedding and towels. When we arrived we were told that the second bed was not made up because we hadn’t asked but we were not aware that we had to ask! Unfortunately this enabled us to see how stained and unpleasant the bedding was - there were no pillow protectors and the pillows were horrendously stained and the mattress protector was not clean either! The bedding was not pristine white but was yellowy grey and was sweat stained! The towels were also a dirty grey colour and we were given just one hand towel and one bath towel each for the whole week! There was no mid-week housekeeping and therefore no change of bedding or towels! There was no air conditioning on the upper floor which meant that in order to create a comfortable temperature the fans had to be on all night and they were very noisy!

• Richard (9/5): Superb - Location excellent and quiet and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Clean and well presented nice kitchen and comfortable furniture. Minor stuff about a second set of towels and tea towel would have been welcomed especially when staying a week, but otherwise all good. TV limited no on demand channels available or the possibly to log into own Netflix account which we've done in other places whilst travelling.

As a resu - The apartment could be exceptional but would benefit from some TLC - seating either worn &/or unclean, door frames, stairway bannister & generally surfaces need a good clean & lick of paint, sash windows do not work, some doors difficult to open. Well equipped kitchen with BOSCH appliances and good communal living space. The garden & bedroom terrace provide great outside space. Great central location.. • Dragonbear (10/5): A wonderful apartment - What a wonderful apartment. We hired the two bedroom and two terraces which was very spacious . Very clean and has very thing you could wish for . Great location - five minutes walk from great restaurants and all tourist attractions . We were met on arrival by Edgar who was both charming and helpful . Support was offered by phone and what’s app although we did not need any as everything was perfect . We were left biscuits , a half bottle of Madeira wine and cold cava which was a really nice touch . Would stay there again in a heartbeat - highly recommended . Nothing
• Ellen (6/5): Pleasant - Wonderful location in city centre. Washing machine available and has lovely private patio. Beds are tiny, matrasses and sheets are stained (as is most of the furniture and carpet, but the couch is going to be cleaned soon so that aside). Overall, not very clean. No airconditioning upstairs (in the bedrooms) so with higher temperatures it becomes unbearable. Lots of mosquitos, so not easy to air the place out. Kitchen has no dish washer, also no vacuum cleaner or even a proper broom. Also, some coffee cups or mugs would have been nice. At this price rate, a better quality was to be expected.

• Deman (10/5): It was like coming “home” after a day of adventure in Madeira. - A great welcome from the host to start with. Very clean, the interior is tasteful and everything you need is there. The terraces are sunny or in the shadow, as your preference. The location in the city is perfect. Parking in the streets of Funchal is a challenge.

• Keith (9/5): we stay at cayres suites surdo for 10 days, both for work and vacation. apartment suits for all our need, kitchen are fu - all the interior design, the terrace and light that came in the morning in the living room the mattress are too tiny for two persons

• Kate (10/5): Fantastic stay in Funchal - Apartment is really well located in a lovely part of town with lots of nearby restaurants and cafes in walking distance. There is a very well-equipped kitchen and comfy bed along with a nice living space. The host is fantastic and really attentive with fast responses to any queries we had re parking, check-in times etc. He really went above and beyond with shipping some belongings left behind which was extremely appreciated.
• Yoli (4/5): Passable - the location is close to everything, the kitchen was well equipped The furniture outside is in very bad condition and unusable in both terraces (nothing like the pictures), washing machine with mold and bad smell, no cleaning was done or offered during our 11 day stay

• Cecilia (9/5): Very nice apartment in the heart of Funchal - The apartment is located in the center, very comfortable to all services. The accomodation is very nice and has everything necessary. Ronald is very helpful to give information and suggestions regarding the parking near the place. Definitely I suggest who wants to stay in Funchal :)
