• Kees (9/5): Heerlijk goed verzorgd verblijf - Ik vond de eigenaren prettig in de omgang. De rustige omgeving. De goed verzorgde ontbijt. En speciale dank voor de tour naar Krafla. Eigenlijk niets wat tegenviel.

• Marlies (8/5): Würde wieder ein Zimmer hier buchen. - Das Guesthouse ist gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Kaffe, Tee & Milch, sowie Wasserkocher & Mikrowelle stehen zur freien Verfügung. Frühstück ist inkludiert und sehr gut. Im Zimmer gibt es ein Waschbecken. Die Gemeinschaftsdusche & -toiletten waren modern und sauber. Parkplätze stehen ausreichend kostenlos zur Verfügung. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist eine etwas weitere Anfahrt über eine Schotterstrasse, aber machbar. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, es gab auch eine kleine Schokolade auf dem Kopfkissen. Der Flur zu den Zimmern ist recht schmal u (daher) leider recht hellhörig. Genauso wie das Zimmer das an das Gemeinschaftsbad angrenzt, auch hier hört man die Wasserleitungen bei Gebrauch.

La indicación de Google Maps que aparece en Booking no es correcta, te deja 100 mts antes del alojamiento; llegando de noche además es más confuso. Tuvimos que llamar al dueño quien nos indicó que pusiéramos CJA camping en Google Maps y ya nos llevo directamente.

• Lenka (9/5): 2 nights stay - Renovated place, very clean, cozy, comfortable. We saw amazing aurora here. Good breakfast. There are not many rooms so it doesn't feel overcrowded even with a shared bathroom. many places to see around. You can not cook there but you can cook at nearby camping. And was glad to wash the clothes. If you don't follow the rules, the owner doesn't like it.

We also appreciated the included breakfast buffet and the possibility to use the fridge and some kitchen appliances for a warm meal after a long day. Nothing really but if we had to mention something, it would be that when you want to cook something, you have to go outside and use the outdoor kitchen in another building that is shared with the camping site guests but it didn’t bother us much.

• Kratochvílová (9/5): Great host and accommodation - Amazing host, very friendly and welcoming. Adalsteinn showed us around when we came, explained everything and the next morning prepared a great breakfast for us, including home-grown tomatoes which were superb :) We really appreciated his approach and it made a huge difference for us (a chocolate on the pillow was also a huge advantage :D ). The breakfast is tasty and you have many options to choose from. There is a very pleasant dinig hall with a nice view. We also really liked that Adalsteinn recycles the waste which we normally take for granted, however, this was the first accommodation in Iceland that did so. Everything was nice, there is nothing we would dislike, it was our best accommodation in Iceland.

There was a very bright light shining into the room all night and the small light-weight curtains did nothing to block it out. There was only one comfortable lounge chair in the dining area. The property needs a good tidy up.

• Carla (10/5): Estancia estupenda con buen desayuno. - Hemos estado super bien, habitaciones un poco pequeñas pero funcionales con una pica que se agradece. Hay un total de 4 habitaciones dobles, 2 baños y una ducha. La cocina del alojamiento es muy basica, solo hay un micro, cafetera y tetera pero tienes opción de utilizar la cocina del camping. El desayuno está muy bien con muchas opciones para el standard del país. Los dueños encantadores! Estaría bien que hubiese una ducha adicional.
• Eduardo (8/5): Con encanto - Monísima casita de campo regentada por el matrimonio que vive pared con pared. Muy amables, lo tienen todo muy bien puesto y aunque estaban en pleno proceso de obras nos lo hicieron saber y no nos supuso ningún inconveniente! Ellos mismos preparan el desayuno, muy variado y completo. Fuera de ello cuentan con una cafetera, hervidor de agua y frigorífico en el que nos dejaba leche, muy práctico a pesar de no contar con cocina propia o microondas! Pero nos vino bien. En el camping de al lado, del cual también se hacen cargo, podíamos usar la cocina q tenían para ellos, pero por comodidad preferimos no hacerlo. Pero si usamos la lavadora-secadora, y nos hicieron un pequeño descuento! Fueron muy amables. Sábanas y toallas un poco ásperas, quizá ya de tanto uso continuado. Los dos baños estaban muy bien, pero es verdad que una sola ducha para cuatro habitaciones se puede quedar un poco justo.

• Hendy0610 (9/5): Heimisch und rundum wohl gefühlt :) - Wir können das CJA Guesthouse nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Gastgeber waren super herzlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten tolle Gespräche mit den beiden und haben uns super wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer waren zwar klein, aber fein. Das gemeinsame Badezimmer wirkte erst frisch renoviert. Grundsätzlich war die Unterkunft sehr sauber und man merkt, dass die beiden viel Zeit und Arbeit in das Guesthouse investieren, um die Erfahrung für die Gäste stetig zu verbessern. Das Frühstück war im Preis mit drin und war super vielfältig, mehr als nur ausreichend und lecker. Wir konnten gegen einen kleinen Betrag unsere Wäsche waschen und uns frei an Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und co. bedienen. Außerdem gab es super frische Beeren und man konnte vom Guesthouse gegen einen kleinen Betrag gewisse Lebensmittel kaufen. Dass wir viel zu kurz da waren ;) Gerne hätten es noch ein paar Nächte mehr sein können. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The value for money was unbeatable considering that the price included a small, nice breakfast. We'll definitely book a room here again, if we ever visit this part of Iceland again! A la mañana siguiente tuvo una actitud muy invasiva durante todo el desayuno. Una pena porque el sitio es bonito pero el servicio es LAMENTABLE.

• Madleen (10/5): - Wir hatten ein tollen Aufenthalt im Guesthouse. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir direkt vom Inhaber begrüßt, der uns alles zeigte. Das Gemeinschaftsbad mit 2 WC und einer Dusche ist völlig ausreichend für die 4 Zimmer, vielleicht muss man sich auch mal kurz gedulden. Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr gut. Es gab auch einige vegetarische und auch vegane Alternativen. Am besten waren die selbstgemachten Kleinigkeiten. Super lecker! Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher konnten jederzeit genutzt werden. Zudem gab es auch kostenfrei Kaffee und Tee auch außerhalb der Frühstückszeiten! Die Inhaber stehen auch jederzeit für Fragen rund um Island zur Verfügung. Eine Tankstelle und Restaurant sind in der Nähe!
