- mounia (4/5): - My stay at Lamaraz Hotel was not at all what I had expected. The reception staff made me feel as if I were at a police or inspection centre, asking strange and uncomfortable questions, including whether I was sure that I had booked a room at the hotel. In addition, we experienced several issues with the shower due to water disconnections and blockage. However, the only positive aspect of my stay was the restaurant staff, who were very friendly, polite, and treated my daughter and me with great respect and kindness.

- Fedhl Ellah (1/5): - Nous sommes venus pour un séjour affaires, nous avons réservé deux chambres à l’hôtel Lamaraz. Dès le check in nous avons eu des propos mal placés et des accusations infondées avec un ton irrespectueux de la part du personnel. Ils nous ont interdit tout contact avec un ton menaçant. Sachez monsieurs, madame que nous sommes venus pour du travail pas pour autre chose, comment osez vous juger des clients, sachant que nous sommes des personnes respectueuses ! Je n'ai jamais eu une expérience pareil dans un hotel, je suis médecin je n'ai jamais confronté ce genre de situation, c'est honteux, J’ai préféré quitter l’hôtel sans y passer la nuit, j'ai changé d'hôtel malgré que ma chambre était payée, honte à vous.

Les équipements sont impeccables, la literie est parfaite et le restaurant de l'hôtel est ouvert 24/7 (très pratique pour les agendas complexes). J'avais besoin d'un équipement en extrait pour mon travail et le Directeur Technique de l'hôtel m'a résolu cette inquiétude en moins de 10mns. Rien à redire ! Je recommande ! La qualité de la connexion internet.

Le ménage: L’agent de ménage travaille de façon superficielle. Ne remplacait pas les tasses bien que voyons les sachets de thés utilisés dedans. Le lit peut être bien dressé.

L'hospitalité du personnel, la literie très confortable, la propreté, la qualité du petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix que ce soit pour le côté sucré ou salé. Hôtel à proximité du métro station Amirouche. Vous pouvez laisser votre véhicule au garage de l'hôtel et faire vos visites à pied et transports en commun. Je recommande vivement !

Everything was clean, and the buffet was fantastic. Most importantly, the hotel's location is excellent, making it easy for me to get around Algiers. Nothing!

Sherif was the taxi driver was amazing too! He gave us great prices, dropped us off and waited for us. The breakfast was also amazing! Especially les crêpes 10/10! Diversified breakfast buffet with many options and good quality of food. Possiblity to hire a driver for city tours or specific trips. Only point to improve: It is not possible to contact the hotel by e-mail before the stay to clarify doubts. They just accept phone calls. Otherwise, everything perfect!

Amazing service by everyone, from the valet parking to the breakfast buffet staff and the reception. Very comfortable rooms with a beautiful view on the sea and on the city of Algiers. We’ll be back. Thank you! Tiny details: a trash bin in the room as opposed to only in the bathroom would have been nice. As well as a blanket to cover up when chilling in the room. However, these are just minor details and this hotel is still a 10.

- Thomas (9/5): The Place To Be in Algiers - This is a tall building set on a hill, so even on low floors one can have spectacular views to the ocean. The room was spacious, equipped with coffee machine and kettle, as well as plenty of water, refilled every day. The Algiers Metro (Amirouche), which runs up and down the main parts of the city, is within 5 min walk from the hotel, so that most sights are within easy reach, even from this otherwise unattractive remote location. Breakfast in the restaurant on the seventh floor was very nice, with floor-to-ceiling windows and plenty of choice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sauna access was a bit expensive (2000 DZD) for my taste. The photos on Booking feature mostly suites and upper-class rooms. My room, which did have a sea view as booked, did not look anywhere like the glossy advertising pictures--a bit of a letdown in terms of expectations.

Very clean hotel with professional and pleasant staff: reception and restaurant. I recommend the breakfast:egg, crêpes/ pancakes counter and a variety of food. Amazing weather and unfortunately no swimming pool. This is the only let down about this hotel.

It's one of the cleanest hotels in the area with an amazing view of the Bay of Algiers. You can see the sea, boats, and the beautiful city overlooking the Mediterranean.
