• anita (5/5): - Location Arrived late at night Couldn't get in as key code was incorrect Had to wait a while for owner to let us in had a call off his partner who was abrupt Very dated rooms had a thin cover on bed which smelt of cigarettes we were to cold to sleep and there were no extra bedding available There was no hand soap provided Bathroom floor was like a swimming pool there was no floor mat supplied I slipped and hurt my leg which I mentioned to owner but she wasn't bothered by it We checked out next day and found alternative accommodation which was extra money for us😔Would not recommend this place at all
• Alexandra (1/5): Ότι χειρότερο - Τίποτα Δεν έχω βιώσει χειρότερη εμπειρία στη ζωή μου, να ξεκινήσω από τη βρώμα, ανοίξαμε το ψυγείο και βρωμουσε, όσο για την υγρασία, από το κρύο από τα νερά στο μπάνιο με χαλασμένο σπιράλ στην ντουζιέρα, με αποτέλεσμα να μη μπορούμε να κάνουμε μπάνιο Όπως επίσης και όταν ζητήσαμε μια σφουγγαρίστρα μας φέρανε ένα κουβά με λάσπη Εύχομαι να μη ζήσει κανείς τέτοιους μέρες διακοπών

• Anitta (4/5): - Läget. Saknade krokar att hänga upp kläder på. I rummet och ftämst i badrummet. Hittade massor av hårstrån på golven. Kyl och kokplattor fick jag själv få att funka genom att ändra säkringarna i rummet, något som känns lite obekvämt. Elen var ostadig, lampor slog av och på. Fick prioritera vad vi tände för att avlasta elnätet. De glömde fylla på toalettpapper. Glad att jag hittade en servett i min väska för att kunna torka mig. Dåligt med husgeråd. Inga matskedar till exempel. Trångt i rummet mellan sängar och vägg.

• Heinimann (4/5): - Die Lage ist super. Die Nunterkunft ist lieblos eingerichtet und einige kleine Sachen waren defekt. Es fühlte sich so an als wären die Hosts in die Jahre gekommen überfordert mit der Gastgeberschaft. Ich kann die Unterkunft leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

• Ioannis (5/5): Ικανοποιητική. - Η τοποθεσία είναι εξαιρετική και, σε συνδυασμό με την ικανοποιητική τιμή, ήταν ο κύριος λόγος επιλογής του ξενοδοχείου. Δεν ήταν καθόλου βολική η παροχή μόνο ενός κλειδιού σε δύο διαφορετικά άτομα με ασύμβατα προγράμματα. Επίσης, παρότι ζητήθηκαν δύο μονά κρεβάτια, παραχωρήθηκε ένα διπλό. Το λάθος μάλλον είναι του booking.

• Michael (8/5): - Room was close to everything. Once you park you can leave it there until you leave. Very nice staff and VERY accommodating. Our ferry back from Agia Romeli was canceled due to weather and we had to spend the night there. The next ferry was the next day at 11:30am and my check out was 11am. It is an 1.5 hour ferry and a 1.5 hour drive. We called them and they were ok with us checking out 3 1/2 hours late. Over the phone i offered to pay extra and they said i didn't need to. What it was a stressful time getting stuck with no way back and no belongingswas made nice by their kindness!

• Maria Henriika (6/5): - Great location in old town. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean room and wonderful restaurant at the hotel. Had a bit of a problem with the ac, but the girl at the hotel took it to heart to get it fixed while we went for dinner. When we came back, everything was fixed!

• Duarte (1/5): - Localização Péssimos funcionários, queriam voltar a aplicar uma taxa já paga no booking quando foi feita e paga a reserva (só deixaram que entrásssmos no quarto depois de pagar essa taxa, apesar de termos explicado que já estava tudo pago). No fim lá devolveram a taxa. lLimpeza horrorosa, o quarto tinha pêlos púbicos na cama e no chuveiro, pó e cabelos em todo o lado. Camas antigas e colchões partidos. FUNCIONÁRIOS NÃO SÃO SÉRIOS E SÃO ANTIPÁTICOS!!!!!!
• rosalie (2/5): - *si vous hésitez entre deux hôtel je vous conseille de prendre l’autre* - l’endroit est sale - l’arnaque : on descend en bas le premier matin pour se prendre du café (il y a un restaurant en bas appartenant au propriétaire et aucun café dans la chambre) on souhaitait payer mais il nous laisse partir avec les cafés (minuscule) donc on se dit que c’est gratuit (parce que TOUT les hôtel ici nous on fournit au minimum le café) on retourne en chercher à chaque matin et à la fin il nous dit c’est 4,50 euro par café (au starbuck pas loin c’est même pas ce prix là, les gyros sont moins cher) - la chambre de bain : minuscule tu peux te brosser les dents dans l’évier en prenant ta douche + elle s’inonde littéralement à chaque douche + sale + la toilette floche pas complètement + L’EAU CHAUDE SEULEMENT POUR UNE DOUCHE PAR JOUR sans exception FAUT ALTERNER ENTRE NOUS + la paume de douche ne s’accroche pas. - Les lits : complètement inconfortable c’est incroyable pire qu’en camping L’emplacement est bien, il y a du bruit jusqu’au petites heures du matin mais on a réussi à dormir quand même c’est pas si mal pour ça.

• Nicholas (4/5): - You get what you pay for. Very hard to locate because no roads to get to hotel. You have to park around the area-IF you can find any parking and walk to hotel. There is free parking in a dirt hole nearby but limited unless you have a 4 wheel drive car/truck. Family owed nice people
• Stanislav (2/5): - Central location. However, all night there is a very noisy street, impossible to sleep. Rooms are not great, the bed is small (not possible to fit for someone 180cm), the linen smelled like cigarettes, bathroom is tiny, shower head is not connected to the wall and no warm water in the morning. The towels were not changed over 5 days, except when we found a wet towel on the floor after and asked them to change it. Worst was the customer service - there was none. We were shown our room, provided no info about the wifi or available terrace. We were offered a larger room and then they said not possible and to check the next morning, while no on was there in the mornings. And overall just unfriendly. Recommend for the owner to be more pleasant and invest in basics like a clean and working shower and windows with better isolation.

• Jullyene (8/5): - Really good location, central, staff friendly, good room. The electricity needed a few minutes to connect properly, so it still turned off and turned on for a few minutes.
• Nicole (9/5): So good! - Perfect location! Right in the middle of the old town. Super friendly staff. And basic but clean room. Not even too noisy considering that there are shops and restaurants right underneath the window. Perfect to go for a stroll late evening and dint have to walk too far back to your accommodation. Even though I had a non-smoking room I could smell cigarette smoke through the ventilation system, but mainly in the bathroom, so it wasn't too bad.

• Barbara (10/5): - The staff was just phenomenal! You cannot beat the location if you want to be an old Chania and to top it all off there is authentic Greek music every night! I stayed for nearly a month and really felt like family.

• Tommi (10/5): Lovely little hotel in the middle of Old town - Nice little hotel right in the middle of everything in Chania old town. Check-in was not manned when we came to the hotel but after a few seconds we were approached by a lovely older gentleman who took care of our check-in. Room had everything except a shower holder which didn't really bother just made us be a bit more creative. All in all a good hotel and I would stay here again if I came to Chania.

We wish we could spend more time in Chania Rooms.
• Matthew (10/5): Great location - Hteat location and they gave me auch bigger room than what I paid for. Easy walking to the harbor and world class Pulse began restaurant. 5 minutes from the bus station as well.

• Thomas (2/5): Zero Stars. - I’m in the Navy and we made port for only the second time at the end of our 9 month deployment. My reservation was the 26th-29th. My wife made them while I was out to sea with no service and poor internet connection. My duty days were switched around, so I showed up on the 25th. I didn’t expect to get a room early, but I was hoping to get my money back and my room canceled for the night of the 27th and the 28th since I had to get back to the boat on the night of the 27th. The owner was rude, refused to be understanding, and when we tried to keep our bags in a friend’s room that was also in Chania Rooms, he tried to refuse and followed us around like we were criminals or trying to pull a fast one. I have never been treated so poorly or delt with someone so disrespectful.

• MR BW (10/5): Great location affordable room - Great location ...in the heart of the old town and only a couple of minutes walk from the harbour. Basic accommodation but clean and comfy with a balcony giving a great view of the activity on the street. Very competitively priced.
• Laura (10/5): Lovely location with lovely staff (smoothest check in if our lives) in the center of Chania! - Location is lovely, perfect for a short stay. The only thing really that could be a little better is the shower as it is tiny tiny but we really didn’t mind it for a one night stay.

Instead of a room with balcony and kitchinette, first day without balcony but with kitchinette without utensils, second night a room with balcony without kitchinette...neither glasses nor kettle.
• Jo (8/5): Basic rooms in the heart of Old Chania Town - Location is fabulous, right in the centre of old town Rooms are really basic - bed is hard, pillow was far to big and hard to use, so I used my sweatshirt as a pillow! Kitchen was poorly equipped, it didn’t even have a cup or mug to drink tea from. Balcony is shared, so there’s no privacy.

• Ari (10/5): - Chania Rolms with Gregory and Ana is the best! They are so kind, personable, and hospitable. Be sure to stop in the cafe below. The location is incredible. One of the best experiences of my life! The only place I will say in Chania :)
• Jhuli (5/5): Standard room is too simple, but still better than hostels with more people and bunkbeds. - The location. Better than hostel with bunkbeds if you are in two to share the price etc. Too basic, no connection Wi-Fi in the room, no communication phone to reception, I had to call thought my mobile own phone. The water in the toilet to take shower for some reason got hot and suddenly cold, hot and cold while I was in the shower. And the water be in the floor everywhere. I know is no obligation the host give 1 bottle of water as a gesture to the customers in the fridge, but as all the rooms I stayed they put it for me I arrived late from the beach and forgot to buy 1 and I enter to the room and don’t had any. I believe simple gestures can make a lot difference. About the price, I booked much better rooms, like studio with all the facilities in the city for the same price. It’s an Restaurant downstairs so you’ll hear a lot noise in the night.
• Mária (10/5): Great stay for one night - We were here only for one night, so we didnt need much. It was in the hearth of city center, so we could do quick explore around. Shower was warm and bed was comfy. Air condittion worked and we had pleasant stay. steep steps to room could be a problem for old people, but it was ok for us, we didnt have luggage only two backpacks

Guys were very helpful and when I thought the ac is out in 2 minutes they were upstairs, called a technician and figured out i didnt put my card in the slot 😄. Be sure to check their restaurant downstairs with great local cusine and all of this served on tables in a very charming street of the old town. 10 stars!
• Peter (9/5): A centrally located hideaway in tChania's old harbour. - The hotel has a amazing rooftop terrace, with tables and chairs. Its centrally located near to the old Venetian walls When you leave the windows open you can hear the aircondition work outside. This is an common issue for travelers who dislike to turn their aircon on and close the room.
• Raul (3/5): Poor - Getting out from this lousy room Room number must be the worst of this pension. The window does not close at all (wind coming into the the room all the time), the fridge is noisy and you have the noise of a chimney of a restaurant running just above your head. Stupid design and lack of maintenance of the bathroom ( see pictures)

• Lilla (8/5): Very good - The perfect location, the house, the room, the staff, they were very kind, relaxed and helpful (there were no glasses in the kitchenette of our room, and they immediately gave us as any as we liked, from the restaurant), the live authentical Greek music at the restaurant, the nice balcony where we could have breakfast very comfortably The wifi was terribly weak, for several days it was practically not functioning at all in our room.
• Kostas (2/5): I don't recommend for staying there for vacations although location is very good! - Location.Walking less than 1 minute to old port.The "Chania Rooms" are in the center of Old Town. Unfortunately,it is difficult to park your car but possible with effort 1)Not clean! 2)Uncomfortable mattress.Actually it was like no mattress.It is too old and overused obviously! 3)No internet connection.We stay in first floor and we try to connect from coffee's/tavernas' internet because hotel internet was so week but finally we used our 4G from our mobiles! 4)We can't sleep at night because the stairs of hotel are wooden and there was so much noise when clients who went up/down to the next floor or carry their luggage!!

• Hester (7/5): Lovely holiday in a central location - The location was very central and fantastic for access to the old town, there was a sunny balcony overlooking the local markets, room came with a mini fridge The shower had no holder so was difficult to use and the bathroom flooded easily, the air con was very noisy, the beds were not very comfortable

The owner was so cheap he didn’t put soap in the bathroom and when I asked him for a new towel after two days he refused to give when he’s taking around €60 per night very expensive price for a very bad bad Destroyed ruined. Everything almost was broke. The bed was horrible. There’s no place to hold the shower handle in the wall even
