The shower had to be accessed through the courtyard, which was inconvenient. I didn't expect this; the photo showed the room as being better and inside the building with a nice shower, but in reality, there wasn't

La struttura è semplice ma, in ogni caso, la camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato era molto grande e pulita. I proprietari sono davvero carini e gentilissimi, ci hanno aiutato molto con consigli e informazioni. Abbiamo anche avuto un piccolo disguido perché abbiamo dimenticato dei medicinali nel loro frigorifero dopo avere lasciato la struttura, ci hanno avvisato tempestivamente e si sono offerti di aiutarci. Abbiamo risolto fortunatamente ma sono stati veramente disponibili. La zona non è vicinissima al centro storico di Bangkok, per il quale è meglio prendere un Grab, però è assolutamente un buon punto di partenza per esplorare la città.

- Caitlin (10/5): Friendly and cute hostel - BaanSu Hostel was in a convenient location close to public transport. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and quiet. Most importantly, the host family were generous, friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Am Tag meines Check Outs bin ich erst Abends geflogen. Ich habe meinen Rucksack abgestellt und durfte als ich ihn abgeholt habe, nochmal duschen gehen um so frisch zum Flughafen abzudüsen.

- Betti (10/5): The cutest stay in Bangkok (Siam/Ratchathewi) - This hostel was one of the cutest stays during my visit in Thailand. It's super clean, sweet details in the room, comfy bed, even the shared bathroom was perfectly clean and well maintained. Toon is a very nice lady, easy to talk to and welcoming. The place is very close to shops down the road, 7-eleven, eateries, massage places and lies in the district of Ratchathewi which is near Siam Center and BACC. I've so enjoyed it there, it's in a quiet surrounding due to a dead-end alley. Khop kun mak kha!! I'll be back. xo B.

- Roy (10/5): - I stayed here multiple times during my half year trip across Asia and it was one of my favourite accommodations of the entire journey. It's very centrally located with easy access to public transport and within walking distance of the Siam area, but tucked away down some cozy alleyways right next to a small river so you're not troubled by traffic noises. The rooms are very clean and charmingly decorated and the whole place just has a very homely feel. It's small and family-run so it feels more like a homestay than a hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The streets were really authentic and very much local, which is something I loved. The host was exceptional and went out of her way to wait for me to arrive (close to midnight due to my late flight). - Hansin (10/5): Families will feel comfortable and relaxed after long walks in the heart of the city - The hosts are very nice. It is a place of their home. They keep the rooms nice, clean and tidy. They can do your laundry if you ask. The place is close to the malls, the train and fancy restaurants. We felt like home during our stay. It is a perfect place for families.

- Xin (3/5): No privacy or respect offered by host - Reasonable price for the close proximity to Siam area and a BTS station but it is in an alley and the entrance was not easy to find. Owner or staff would enter your room without permission, they would knock briefly and without even giving you a chance to respond, use their keys to access the room. When we were not in, they went into the room to anchor the air dryer to the cupboard as if it's urgent and they couldn't wait for us to vacant the room to fit that. The location of the work they did was so close to the bed I was sleeping on (see photos) and after that I did not feel comfortable or clean to sleep on it.

- Thao (8/5): Very good - The hosts are very nice. The room is a bit old but clean. It's about 500m from the BTS station and just 1 stop to Siam Paragon. I highly recommend it. We should have a mirror in the room, not only the toilet.
- Afeef (10/5): Amazing stay - Very kind ,friendly and helpful staff. Tea/coffee/biscuits provided , room was nicely decorated. ATM at walking distance. Located next to a mosque. The street in front of the hotel is a bit narrow, difficult for cars to go through but bikes can go easily.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - The host is just lovely. Really kind! We were able to store our luggage after check out and when we came back to pick it up she even offered us to use the shower. Spontaneous booking was no problem and she was already perfectly prepared. We never had to wait for the shared bathroom. It was clean and almost felt like private. Highly recommend. --

- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The host has a welcoming and friendly vibes. They make sure that my family is comfortable and that we are having a wonderful stay in Thailand. Highly recommended. The location is a lil bit far from train station(Rachathewi station) but walkable somehow. You can use Bolt/Uber/Taxi/Tuktuk as your means of transpo if you are lazy to walk.

- Ravi (6/5): It’s a nice stay for a short time and for those who don’t care about privacy - * good location (when you or your driver finally able to find it, a bit tricky) * good WiFi, and I found the bed to be hard which is amazing for my back * room is so spacious, cute, beautifully designed * water flow is good. * staff did try to make efforts to be kind and available to requests (gave me option to shower after check out, double bedroom, and right away sent me another blanket and towel per my request) * no hot water, all my showers were cold and unpleasant * I didn’t know it was a Homestay, not a hostel, so it’s misleading the title is misleading . I also didn’t know it was adjacent to a mosque (I have my ear plugs so it was fine) * Because of this, I felt very uncomfortable to go out or come back, having to go through an entire family salon and living room. I know they were trying to be nice but never felt any private experience * not only that, on my second day I deliberately left lights and AC on to chill the room when I’m back, and when got there lights were off and AC off which made me very upset for taking away my privacy. If you’re already inside, wouldn’t you make the bed up for tidy up ? * for me it’s impossible to carry luggage because of back issues and I feel there’s no suitable solution for this, having to be in 3rd floor, with stairs, even though saw no other guests in the Homestay except me

- Misky (9/5): Nice and warming place to stay - - the location is nice as it's 3-min walk to 7-11 and 10-min walk to the BTS station - the owners are quite friendly and welcoming. i feel that this place is more like a guest house rather than a hotel/hostel - the owners are quite considerate that they also sell waters so that i dont have to buy from 7-11 and carry a huge bottle of water back home some people mentioned about the praying sound from the mosque, which is right next to the hostel. However, i prepare a pair of earplugs and they work well. highly recommended to do so if you are a light sleeper.
