If I ever need to stay in Novi Sad for a night or more, I would definitely choose Verad INN again. There was nothing about it that could possibly be disliked.

• Julia (6/5): Okay, für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise - Vorab: als Radreisende habe ich nicht viele Ansprüche- ich hatte einen ruhigen und erholsamen Aufenthalt und fühlte mich wohl. Mit Rad aber sehr umständlich - durch die Eingangstür um in den Innen- Hof zu kommen. Eine Angestellte sah ich nicht, auch keine anderen Gäste, der Hauskontakt via Whats App war sehr freundlich und bot mir an das Wassertermostat in der Dusche zu zeigen. Der Innenhof ist sehr schön, ein großer Kühlschrank (Gemeinschaft) war vorhanden. Wer nur zum schlafen günstig unterkommen will ist hier genau richtig- Wellness Urlaub aber nicht. Preis- Leistung ist okay, auf meiner Radreise hatte ich aber für selbiges Geld deutlich bessere Unterkünfte. Das Bad roch ein wenig muffig, das Wasser war schön warm/ heiß, jedoch ging es auch nicht kalt zu stellen. Die Klopapierhalterung war wackelig und der Handtuchtrockner, welcher von einer Sortierungsstoffbox verdeckt war, zeigte Dreck. Die Zimmertür klemmte zudem- das Hostel hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich, leider.

• Dunia (10/5): Exceptional - A very quiet and peaceful stay, located at the base of Petrovaradin. There is really special history about the place, look for it when your in the main hallway. Steps away from the fortress and clock. Sunny and relaxing courtyard just beside the cooking area, which is simple but very convenient. The staff is always available by phone, if not in person. Very interested in knowing how and why travel to Novi Sad. I took advantage of the horseback riding, very close from inn, great experience. Reaching the inn location you can walk through the city crossing the stari or take bus from the station. Rooms are spacious and clean, mostly always quiet during off season. There is a lot of art throughout the common areas and the front cafe seems like another great place to socialise when the inn is full. There is a fig tree giving lots of shade to the courtyard! The water system is low during the quiet hours. *didn't experience any problem. I expect it is very lively and inviting when summer events and festivals happen in the city.

• Filip (8/5): Although the location is fine, this particular room wasn't comfortable enough, with a broken window, ineffective air - Location, coziness Window is broken and air condition can't cool down the room even after running the whole night. There's no shower hose, the position is fixed to the wall. The faucet is a button that makes water run for 5-10 seconds so you need to push that button like 20 times to complete your shower... The pillows are tiny, when you lay your head down it feels like there's no pillow at all.

We could find a parking spot in front of the hostel so parking was also easy. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The room and the bathroom was tidy and clean.

• Kathleen (9/5): Relaxed weekend near the Fortress - Tijana was super welcoming and accommodating, including extending my stay. Excellent location with the fortress right around the corner. Good bus connections to the centre and the bus station. Comfy, clean rooms. Cozy back garden. Quiet neighbourhood. The kitchen is basic, but equipped well enough for making simple meals.
• Dusty (9/5): Superb - Figs from the fig tree in the courtyard. Also, the hot water kettle was useful, there was no tea bags or instant coffee available. Hopefully Credit Cards will be accepted in the future. I had a talk with the owner who agrees. The current problems lies with her bank and with booking . com not allowing credit card bookings within Serbia, and logistics in Serbia preventing this kind of business friendliness. Unfortunately there are no cash-machines / ATM's / or Money Change offices nearby. Only across the long bridge into downtown Novi Sad. We both agreed that it would be safer, more secure, and convenient to have a credit card or point-of-sale or digital transaction for all parties involved. Also, when you have leftover Serbian currency, it is very difficult and costly to exchange it outside the country. Hopefully this only problem gets solved sooner.

Check point is only 4 min by walk. Staff was very kind and gentle. Hostel and room was cleaned every day. Perfect, Perfect, Perfect :D

The hostel area/culture is also really good. Distance to city center is around 15-20 mins. Parking was on the street but no issues.

• Josip (9/5): Superb - The location of the accomodation is perfect, right underneath the Petrovaradin fortress and only 15 minute walk from Novi Sad city center. The rooms are newly renovated and are really nice and comfy. Also, the owner lives in the house in the backyard and is really friendly and approachable 😁 The only problem that we encountered is with the bathroom in the small 2-bed bedroom. I would recommend separating shower from the toilet and build some kind of barrier between them.

The shower was hot for 10 seconds and then nothing. - The owner was very helpful and could give good advice on how to get to places The shower was push button which meant 10 seconds of hot water and then nothing until you pressed the button again. This resulted in being very cold during the shower and having no chance of washing my hair in the shower Location was below the fortress which meant that you had to walk into the centre 15 minute walk to find restaurants etc
