• Charlène D (10/5): Un véritable havre de paix face à la mer - Le Before Sunrise est un superbe boutique hôtel, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, où chaque détail semble avoir été pensé avec soin. La chambre est confortable, bien équipée, avec une climatisation très appréciable. La salle de bain est également très bien conçue, à la fois pratique et agréable à utiliser. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, fait avec soin et composé de produits de qualité — un vrai plaisir pour bien commencer la journée. L’emplacement est un véritable atout : situé face à la mer, l’hôtel offre un cadre reposant et bucolique, idéal pour se ressourcer loin de l’agitation. Un immense merci à Jane et à toute l’équipe, qui sont adorables et toujours disponibles pour partager leurs conseils sur la région. Leur accueil fait toute la différence. Mention spéciale également à Waka qui participe pleinement à l’atmosphère chaleureuse des lieux. :) Rien à signaler

• YA HSUN (9/5): - 環境整潔很好，早餐提供的餐點很美味，而且還免費提供腳踏車使用，超級方便的，剛好可以去海邊騎腳踏車看海。 很可惜房間不是面向海邊，所以看不到海，這是我覺得蠻可惜的一點，床有點偏硬，如果再軟一點會更舒適。
• Antonia (10/5): Wir haben eine sehr schöne Zeit gehabt und kommen gerne wieder! - Außergewöhnlich schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage direkt am Meer! Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und geben viele Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Zur Begrüßung gab es Mango-Eiscreme und zur Verabschiedung ein kleines Abschiedsgeschenk. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, gesund und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und modern eingerichtet.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeberin Jane – sie ist unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns mit vielen wertvollen Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Ausflügen in und rund um Hualien versorgt. Dank ihrer Empfehlungen konnten wir Orte entdecken, die wir sonst wahrscheinlich verpasst hätten. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet eine angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!
• Dorina Marlen (10/5): - Jane was the kindest, sweetest and most helpful host and made our stay truly special! The rooms are spacious and clean, separate shower and toilet, high quality towels and bed linen. The view is great, either mountains or oceans and the surroundings are quiet. But the true gem is Jane, who gave us so many good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing, made phenomenal breakfast and even helped us out with an adapter. We would always stay here again when in Hualien!

• Douwe (10/5): Kleinschalige fijne plek - De lokatie is prachtig aan een vrij rustige straat, direct aan het strand. Jane en Serena zijn heel persoonlijk en hartelijk. Jane heeft goede tips over wat je allemaal kunt doen in en rond Hualien. Ze reageert heel snel op berichtjes die je haar stuurt. En het is fijn dat ze goed Engels spreekt. Before Sunrise is kleinschalig en modern. De bedden en douche zijn top. Maar bovenal serveren Jane en Serena elke dag een heerlijk, zelf gemaakt ontbijt! Niets.

She was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about our experience. From smooth check-in to thoughtful touches throughout the stay, everything was handled perfectly. It felt more like being a guest than just a renter.” She goes extra for preparing delicious breakfast 30 minutes earlier then the original schedule to meet our needs. The farewell gift package (local products) showed her genuinely care.
• Ines (10/5): Hier startet man perfekt in den Tag ... - Diese Unterkunft können wir von Herzen weiterempfehlen...Jane und ihr Team kümmern sich wundervoll um ihre Gäste und man fühlt sich sehr wohl.Das Frühstück ist außerordentlich lecker und jeden Tag gibt es neue Kreationen . Jane ist behilflich bei Buchungen von einem Guide... und kann viele Empfehlungen geben. Der Kontakt über WhatsApp funktioniert sehr gut und der Empfang am ersten Tag war sehr herzlich ... Die Lage ist direkt am Meer...der Nachtmarkt fußläufig zu erreichen...auch ein Fahrradverleih ist in der Nähe ... Danke ihr Herzensmenschen...es war toll bei euch . ...Wir können hier nichts eintragen ... Die Dusche und die Toilette ,welche extra ist ...sind nur mit einer Glastür vom Zimmer abgeteilt ...das ist vielleicht noch erwähnenswert.

• Darcee (10/5): Lovely stay - The host was lovely and friendly and packed us something for breakfast as we were going to miss it due to our tour start time. When she cooked breakfast it was great. She provided coffee, tea, water and snacks in the lobby all the time. The room was clean.
• Bianca (10/5): Modern, clean stay near the sea with amazing breakfast and host 🧡 - Very clean and modern hotel in a perfect location near the sea and also an easy walk to central Hualien. Delicious breakfast (and they made a vegan option for me) and I loved being able to borrow a bike and stroll along the sea! What really makes this place special is the host, Jane. She’s so responsive and personable, and she helped me arrange everything from a driver for Toroko Gorge to restaurant recommendations, to an indigenous cooking class, one of the highlights of my trip!

Breakfast was good, but could've been a little longer to sleep in a bit. Highly recommend! Breakfast hours, but wasn't that bad in the end, just providing some critical feedback is all. :)
• Carmen (9/5): Lovely place - The hotel is as it is shown in the pictures, very clean and quite new. Location is perfect near the night market . I only spent o e night in Hualien as my purpose was to visit Taroko ( 35min from hotel). Staff very friendly with a perfect level of English. Breakfast in occidental style . Everything was ok, maybe breakfast starting at 8.30 was very tight for us, to have an early option would have been better.
• Edward (10/5): Absolutely loved my time in Hualien - I had a wonderful stay in Hualien at Before Sunrise, the hotel felt modern and stylish and I was welcomed on arrival by the lovely team. Rooms were of an excellent standard, and a tasty, freshly cooked breakfast was provided. I was given lots of good recommendations for local places to eat and things to do which really helped my stay and I felt well looked after. I would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Hualien to stay here! I only wish I'd stayed longer!

• Roisin (10/5): Lovely, friendly place to stay! - Lovely clean, modern, well furnished property - great location too as it is an easy walk to the night market. We slept great as it was quiet and dark in the room. It was well equipped with toiletries, drinks, snacks etc. We had a balcony which was nice too! The owner Jane js super helpful and went out of her way to give us tips of places to go, arranged breakfast for us to take away one morning when we had to leave early for a Taroko tour, booked taxis for us etc. Really lovely and friendly place to stay. Nothing!
• Chris (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay at Before Sunrise B&B. Everything was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Jane was so welcoming and friendly. It's easy to see why this property is so highly rated. We were given a list of the best food stalls to visit at the nearby Dongdamen Night Market - which were all SO good! The air-conditioning in the room was great (it was so hot during our visit and the room stayed nice and cool). Waka the Hotel dog is also very cute and loves a pat. The breakfast was amazing! A selection of tea, coffee, juices and freshly prepared meals which were different each day. We had to leave earlier one morning for a trip to Taroko Gorge and they were kind enough to pack our breakfast to take with us so we didn't miss our bus. Thanks so much for making our visit to Hualien so memorable. We'd love to come back and visit again. Everything was perfect, we didn't have any problems with our stay at all.

• Vered (10/5): My favorite B&B in Taiwan! - Look no further! This B&B is super clean, excellent location, very modern, delicious breakfast, and amazing views from the rooms of either the mountains or the ocean. It’s owned by a young woman who was so helpful! She has free bikes to use and gave me excellent recommendations for restaurants, cycling, and helped me figure out transportation to Taroko Gorge and to Taipei. She even gave me a departing present of local delicacies. And bonus, there’s a sweet resident Shiba Inu. This place is a gem!
