- Derek (9/5): - Spectacular view from Room balcony & breakfast terrace. Lovely Breakfast well worth the 10 Euros extra cost. Nice Filter Coffee Machine in Room. Good Shower. The space between the end of the Bed & the wall is very small & I kept stubbing my toes on the Bed.8

- Eduard (9/5): - alles
- Marta (10/5): - I like the mood and the friendliness of the host. If you have to book a spot for Agia Galini, this is the place! The parking is not super easy, but there are plenty of parking options within 5 walking minutes from the property.

- ACHILLE (10/5): - Tutto bellissimo. Consiglio a tutti.
- Diego (10/5): - Tutto, il posto è tranquillo e pulito e i gestori molto simpatici. Ottima esperienza

- Dejan (10/5): - Perfect hotel on great location. Host is so lovely. Rooms were super clean, the view was amazing. So beautiful hotel 😍. Recommend
- Amberly (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nati (10/5): Elena is the best host, rooms are amazing - Perfect
- Nadine (10/5): - Great time there and perfect for a short night but if we had more time we would have loved to stay longer.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Let me clear, this is a sweet, clean bohemian property that has a stunning setting and views, but is not new or posh. We stayed one night, had a private balcony and a fridge -- loved it!
- Selena (8/5): Very good - The most beautiful view! The balcony was amazing. The bathroom was also quite nice, and clean. The woman cleaning the rooms was lovely. The mattresses could use a replacement. A bit old. We also had a strange interaction with the owner getting angry at us for not having cash to pay for the room (something that I was not told about in advance, so I did not have any cash on hand).
- Eduardo (10/5): Great stay with beautiful views. - great location and views at a great price. bed was a little uncomfortable
- Nils (10/5): The view is amazing -
- Mirjam (10/5): Exceptional - The view. Sleeping through to the sound of waves, waking up seeing the sea and the beautiful bougainvillea, smelling the yasmine. I didn't need more to stay way longer than I expected. But also the owners and all the staff are super kind and friendly, the rooms simple, but pretty, big, bright and perfectly clean, the beds comfortable with good linen that is changed regularly. I will definitely come back!
- Marco (9/5): Superb - the overview from the window no parking
- Georgios (9/5): Very romantic place with vintage charm and amazing view - The rooms have a little balcony with the most amazing view at the sea and the harbour below. It is like a piece of art.
The facilities are old and rather basic but the establishment still meets all requirements for a pleasant stay and also has a unique true vintage ambiance.
- Una (10/5): A piece of peace - Place with very special energy, co colourful and peaceful. Balcony with amazing view. Lovely hosts. If you're looking for such a place, you will find it in Erofili.
We look forward to come back.
- Nigel (9/5): Superb -
- Tannia (8/5): A charming hotel with excellent sea views! - This is a very charming hotel, well positioned in Agia Galini for amazing balcony views! We enjoyed our short stay and wished we had booked for a longer time. We absolutely loved our balcony framed with gorgeous bougainvillea and the great view of the town and sea. Would definitely stay here again!
- Veronika (10/5): - We came back to Erofil this year again! Magical view from the balcony. The room had all we needed and the beds were comfortable. Cleaning everyday and new towels etc. We mostly explored beaches outside ag.galini and this was a perfect spot for us! Great restaurants walking distance.
- Saly (8/5): Very good - The hosts are really nice, the locations obviously is great with a nice view, and the despite old rooms the bathroom.is quite clean and beds are comfy. It is old, and very dusty not for the lack of cleaning but just accumulation from.an old building. The blankets were super old and a bit gross, and the balcony was very dirty. I do must say it seemed like we were of of the first and very few (I think only) guests) and it might feel different with more people.
- Björn (6/5): Äldre hotel med hippie karaktär - Äldre hotel av enkel standard. Tyvärr ingen frukost tillgänglig.
- Eleanor (9/5): Beautiful. - Quirky. Nice bathroom. Stunning view!!!! Excellent breakfast. Welcoming and helpful Walk from port.
- Hamish (8/5): Very good -
- Carla (10/5): A very nice stay, beter than expected. - Frendly people, nice room with a wonderful view from the balcony. The hotel has the best position in Agia Galini. Good beds, good bathroom with a new shower. Not high standaard, but good value for your money. Nothing
- Cristina (8/5): Lovely hippie place with amazing views - The location is great: you get the best view of the harbour from a cozy balcony. Eleni was a kind host and we would definetely come back here. Breakfast lacks choice if you have food intolerances. The fridge is making a lot of loud noises.
This is not a fault of the property itself or owners, just be aware that if you are in poor condition, it’s best to have a rental car, the way back from the beach/ downtown is steep. Also, parking is somewhat difficult to find.
- Matteo (9/5): Superb -
- Lazar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yosef (8/5): Very good -
- Céline (10/5): Amazing vibe and people - definitely hope to come back one day! - Erofili Rooms is a little heaven in the south of Crete. Totally Mamma Mia and hippie chill vibes. The staff was amazing, so kind and always helpful. Had some discussions in the afternoon with them on Cretan culture and went to see them perform their great music. We loved the location of “small town/village” and were able to visit most of Crete with the car. Definitely recommend and hope for sure to come back one day.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - very beautiful and iconic hotel, cozy and colourful! the host was very polite and friendly
- Veronika (10/5): Such a lovely spot with a magical view. Near to very good restaurants. Such a charming place, the hotel and the little t - Extremely charming building and rooms. The view from the balcony was mind blowing. Don’t have anything negative to say.
- Kimberly (10/5): Exceptional - They were so sweet to help me even in the middle of the night.
- Christina (2/5): Tatty, tired, paper-thin walls, mercenery owners - Our stay at Erofili Rooms was (luckily) the only unpleasant thing in an otherwise lovely holiday in Agia Galini and the surrounding area. The view from the room, as mentioned in other review, is nice. And the cats are sweet. That's about it. We have stayed in other places in Agia Galini and most have lovely views, but for a lower price (as we discovered when we checked out and went to a cheaper and far quieter, more comfortable hotel complete with friendly staff and decent beds). The bathroom had been renovated and the shower worked well. Other than that the experience was really poor, so I would not recommend this place to anyone. We are frequent travellers and enjoy staying in all kinds of accommodation, from guesthouses to 5-star hotels. But in all our years of travelling this was the first time we've encountered such complete indifference to guest comfort and such a mercenary attitude. I get the feeling the owner is a "friendly" lady if everything is OK, much less so if you have any problems, which unfortunately we did. Arrived during check-in hours but found our room key on a chair with a note saying to let ourselves in and stating they prefer cash payment. The beds were old and uncomfortable, the room was tatty with nowhere to unpack except a few hangers, and the fridge was noisy. On our way out we were stopped by other guests searching in vain for staff- still no sign of anyone. They were clearly not impressed. While in reception we noticed a sign advertising twice-weekly concerts, with one the following night at 10pm in the dining room above our bedroom (there was a drum kit in the dining area when we arrived); if we'd known, we would have booked elsewhere, a good night's sleep is important for us. When we came back after dinner, our neighbours were having a party on their balcony. This went on until 02.30, in spite of requests (ours and other guests') to turn the music down. The building is old with paper-thin walls so sleep was out of the question. Next morning we woke late, having slept in bits (furniture scraping in the dining room early morning, church bells, noise from other rooms). At 10.15 we asked if we could have breakfast even if we were 15 mins late as we'd slept badly, but were told no way. 20 mins later someone appeared at our door to say they'd changed their minds, but by that time our patience had run out, and we decided to go elsewhere (in view of the concert- didn't want to risk another sleepless night). Called the owner, who came with her surly husband and they charged us for the WHOLE stay, saying the noise is not their fault. She offered a room change but that was it. Booking tried to convince the owners to refund ONE night's stay as a goodwill gesture instead of charging us for the whole stay, but the owners refused, much to the surprise of Booking customer service staff. Basically if you have any problems, it's your tough luck.
- Victor (9/5): Superb - Amazing view and beautiful rooms
- Rebekka (8/5): Very original and friendly hotel - The atmosfeer The beds and the breakfast
- Jenny (7/5): A quirky, hippy vibe. - Good views at the top of town. A quick, easy, but steep walk down to the centre. It was a bit difficult to park.
- Adrian (5/5): Elevated situation so has good views, but the inadequate breakfast would stop me coming back again. - Great views, quirky hippie decor, reasonable beds. Breakfast was wholly inadequate, more like you might have expected fifty years ago, perhaps.
Almost cold toast on day one, inadequate amount of hard butter, and apricot jam. Day two was untoasted sliced bread and a luke warm overboiled boiled egg, with inadequate butter and apricot jam. Nothing else was on offer! I was amased, because other have praised the breakfast in their reviews.
- Monika (10/5): colourful surrounding with an amazing view - Amazing colourful authentic flower power decor with a breathtaking view over the harbour! Very friendly hosts provided us with wellcome treats (sweets & Raki). Our breakfast was exeptionally.
- Marieta (10/5): Exceptional - The view! The bright bougainvillea and the blue sea in the background are truly amazing. So beautiful that up to the point of entering the room I thought there's no way that the photos match the reality. They do and it's even better when you are actually there.
The room itself was clean and it even had a small desk and enough space for luggage. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. Would've stayed longer if I could.
- Joanna (9/5): Superb - We spent there couple of wonderful days- we especially enjoyed the view from our balcony and delicious breakfast. Eleni is a great host and the soul of the hotel! The hippie vibe of this place is so real and natural :) Hope to be back soon! The only issue was the parking- it was hard to find a spot in the evening (public only)
- Yosef (10/5): Great, we will be back - Eleni the owner is so generous kind and caring
Ths place is colorful warm and friendly
It is exactly what you need to short vacation
breakfast is great, change every day
We love Erifilu rooms and Eleni a lot
- Matti (8/5): Beautiful, not so comfy - The breathtaking view, great breakfast, friendly staff. The room not very spacious to move around, not enough space for your belogings, it took ages to get some hot water, the double mattress not so comfy for two grownups, the furniture and fittigs quite worn out, a/c a bit noisy, no staff in the evening around, only a telephone number should you need anything.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - The room was comfortable and quiet with a very nice view of the sea, very clean, every day they cleaned the room and made sure to change towels and sheets frequently, they served a satisfying and varied breakfast that changed every day. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and the old town
- Nick (10/5): - Exceptionally special experience!
- Gordon (10/5): Room with a view - The Erofili has beautiful panoramic views of Agia Galini village from every room as well as the breakfast balcony. The room was clean, spacious and nice and cool to sleep in, and the bathroom very modern with a large shower with plenty of hot water.
The breakfast was traditional, homemade and different every day, served on the balcony, while the swallows did aerobatics nearby. It was a very relaxing stay.
- Emmanuel (8/5): - Amazing view.
- Magnus (10/5): Enjoy life in a fab postcard - We stayed at several hotels during our visit to Crete, all with more stars than Erofili, yet we regret that we could not spend all nights at this over the top charming, eclectic jewel with strains from the Golden Hippie Era in the Southern part of Crete. The view from our room would be enough for opulent accolades, but it doesn't stop there: service, reception, breakfast (a story in it self), AC, tranquility, etc, were unrivalled during our Cretan odyssey. I will also ad a sixth star to my 5/5 for the best WiFi experienced on the island. My only regret writing this review, is that it might conduce an increased number of bookings, which will make it more difficult for us to find a room when we get back next time.
