- Jason (8/5): Lovely - Lovely little cottages in a nice setting, several restaurants a short walk away. Smaller cheaper bungalows are a bit of a walk from the parking area.
- william (10/5): Great stay in a beautiful setting- highly recommend! - Beautiful setting. Very relaxing and calming after coming from Chiang mai. We had a whole house to ourselves with a porch overlooking the beautiful mountains. Rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless. There’s a fridge, a kettle and even a keureg with pods. Incredibly quiet at night. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows were down and after the usual surfboard pillows at most of the places it was really wonderful! We rented a motorbike from the cave across the street. Went to the hot springs, the cave and 3 amazing ways. Were able to find a guide to take a 5 km hike in the jungle. All in all a great stay Nothing
- Antonia (9/5): Good place to stay. - Small but comfortable bungalows in a huge garden area with a small creek nearby. We had the one furthers away from the street (economy twin) and it was very nice. There is no air conditioning in the room, only a fan but at the end of December you didn’t need it anyway (a heater would be better, actually). It is close to the wildlife sanctuary and near a few restaurants and a bar. There are a lot of dogs on the compound (pooch has something to do with dogs, for the non-native English speakers, I was surprised as well). And they are not very friendly. If you just come in, park your motor bike and go to your room they won’t bother you but if you want to find the staff and get too close to the main building they will start barking like crazy and follow you. That wasn’t that great, especially since you need the staff for check-in and check-out. But they didn’t attack or anything, just a lot of barking.
The bungalow we stayed in was build out of wood, the first night it was fine but the second, we had a neighbour in the next bungalow (also made of wood) who was a snorer. Even with ours and their windows closed, we could hear him. There is also a bar nearby which plays music until late that you can hear, so earplugs were needed. Maybe in the buildings that are build from stone, it is better. But the value for money of the economy room was still great and we would stay here again.

- Susan (9/5): Beautiful, Well Located Nature Bungalows in Chiang Dao - This place is super beautiful, surrounded by trees, nature, and a very spectacular night sky. The room was spotless, had windows all around, a porch with seating, really comfortable bed, pillows and linens, hot and cold water, storage, lots of space, lots of natural lights, a kettle and coffee/tea, all of it was great. And I think it's in the perfect spot to visit the Cave and all the other temples nearby. I literally walked to all of them from there. Plus, there's a handful of great restaurants - right across the road and/or less than a 7 minute walk. You can also find tiny convenience stores for sodas, snacks, beer, etc. very nearby. The hosts are super nice and even gave me a ride to the bus station after my stay. But if you're looking for more of a hotel or "hands on" guest house, this might not be right for you. But I am a solo female traveler (English speaking) and I managed it just fine, with a big of Google Translate. Also, you should probably really like dogs because there are a lot of them on site as well as on the road up and down from the property. The ones on the property bark (as do the others) out of protection, but they are obviously very friendly and well cared for at this place.
- Vince (9/5): Nice recharge area with an hand full of nice spots to eat and drink, beautiful - Nice comfy place, quiet relaxing spot, they have a few dogs here but are well behaved gardens are lovely and clean
- Štefan (10/5): I will back if i go to dong chiao - Very nice place and quite ,
- Lenka (9/5): - The place is in a nice garden with birds, very quiet.
The room was a cosy, comfy bed all nicely set up.
It is also close to the main attractions. If you need a taxi it can be arranged, you can also rent a scooter at the bar close by.
It is ideal for people searching quiet place.
There are restaurants around, I recommend hot spring and visiting temples and the cave.
Thanks)) I will suggest that the owner can have a whatsapp application and can be easily reachable, otherwise you need to call mobile. It will be practical.
Dogs in the garden can be a little bit intensive barking a lot at the people but all dogs around this are like this..
- Bert (9/5): Nice bungalow in nature. - Nice bungalow in nature, lots of birds and being welcomed by the dogs! For dinner you need to go out, but there are 3 places within about 50 meters from the entrance: an Italian restaurant (fully booked when we checked), the Cave Bar where they also serve food (ok) and the recommendation: opposite to the cave bar there is a restaurant, not visible on Google maps, but a nice clean place where they serve really great Thai food. The lady who was running the place was one of the nicest persons we met. Nothing to mention
- Nawabon (8/5): - Nice and quiet. Has hot water. Difficult to contact property. Wrong number on booking.com there is also a gate that you have to open/close yourself which you will have to get out of the car or off your bike to do so.
- Lamai Bebrave (9/5): -

Nichts
- Martin (5/5): Fine for a couple of nights to explore nature - Location is very good and quiet The owner has lots of dogs. We love dogs, but not badly trained ones or ones that are barking when trying to enter the breakfast location (Chiang Dao is ridden with aggressive dogs on the street and even temples, so be warned!!!). Furthermore, the shower did not heat and the breakfast was too expensive (beter to go down to the little cafe down the street).

- Michal333 (10/5): -
- Laura Schack (10/5): Perfect place to stay, looking forward to coming back - Loved the location, absolutely beautiful place to stay in your own bungalow in a great part of Thailand I thought it was great, but good to plan how to get there, I ended up hitchhiking from where the bus dropped me off which was actually very easy. You can rent a scooter/ e-bike from the cave bar opposite the accommodation.
- manuel (10/5): - Super schöne Anlage / Garten. sehr freundliche Besitzer.
- Alessandro (9/5): Perfect stay! - Beautiful location nice owners Breakfast in hotel would be a plus!
- Soufyan (8/5): -
- Ian (10/5): Excellent access to hot springs, hiking, viewpoints, temples, and relaxing meditations in the gardens. - The silence. Perhaps a few too many dogs here.
- Edwige (7/5): -
- Edwige (8/5): -
- Aline (10/5): - Petit paradis 🥰. Bungalows à côté de la rivière. Super bien entretenu et super calme. Parfait !
- Benjamin (10/5): Hidden gem - Very cute cabin on a lovely domain. Personal touch of the owners. Nice bar, coffee and food options closeby (literally around the corner).
- Alexandre (10/5): -
- Eunjoo (8/5): I’m natuiist. - Just In the nature
Clean and calm.
Not so far from cave and other wat. Nothing special.
There are Some rooms without air conditioners
If booking, Please be careful
- Sam (10/5): Excellent quality place. Nature surrounding - The place is very clean and everything is properly maintained and fixed like the sliding windows and everything in the room. It's really nice and a refreshing change for most guest house places, In fact the quality of these rooms is about double the quality of the ones at the nest, and the nest charges about double the price. The nature around is lovely. The mattresses high quality and also the sheets are top hotel level quality, much better than most guest houses you would ever find
- Melissa (10/5): Exceeded expectations - Owners are the kindest people ever. Received us late at night and allowed us to check out late too. It is very natural and beautiful. Surrounded by nature and a stream. It was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
- Valentine (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful surroundings, really cozy and clean property. Nothing!
- Chanhratsamy (10/5): Amazing stay worth every penny - The bungalow is very clean and the bed is really comfortable.
The bathroom is well implemented (no water filling the entire bathroom but just the shower place) and well maintained.
The garden is a delight to spend time doing nothing.
Water, Tea and coffee provided.
The owner and her sister were very friendly and helpful.
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Great location near to caves and national park. Good to have kitchen facilities. Few water. Comfortable beds.
- Katherine (8/5): Very good - Beautiful grounds, lovely accommodation, very comfortable bed. Well maintained and nice touches such as toiletries to use etc. No formal check in/ check out process, have to find the owner for check out. Struggled to find places to eat.
- Suganya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sr (10/5): Excellent stay - It's in a great location and also has a lot of space to walk around inside the property. The cabins are cute and good value for money. So quiet and peaceful 💙 I extended for some more days. There are many dogs around and some geese. Good luck to the owner!
- Wb (10/5): Quiet and peaceful. Great place to reset and recharge - Quiet, near nature Na
- Paolo (9/5): Superb - Crazy barking dogs along the main street
- Siblesz (7/5): Good - It is a beautiful place. There's a bar next door that plays loud music, there are at least ten dogs that bark randomly at night. It's not the best setting for peace and quiet.
- Francois (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ernest (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional - Staff were excellent friendly and helpful. The area was beautiful and the doggies were charm. A home away from home
- Kevin (8/5): Very good - Nice accomodation in Chiang Dao. Good size bungalows. Bed and pillows comfortable. Wifi good. Host and staff were welcoming. Parking onsite. Gated property as owner has dogs. Friendly. Walking distance to restaurants. Bathroom good size.
Nice and quiet at night.
Bug mesh on all windows to keep out mozzies Nice stay
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice place to stay Loud dogs going mad at reception. Couldnt hear them at the accomodation though
- ณินณดา (7/5): Good -
- Sutharee (9/5): Fabulous view and location, perfect for peaceful and relaxing stay! - The facilities and the location are perfect for peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay. The room, bed, and bathroom are very clean and in good conditions. Great value for money. The garden is beautiful and well kept. I will come back here next time. There are several dogs owned by the owners and some of them were loud during the night and early morning.
- Poonnapop (8/5): Very good -
- Coline (9/5): Bungalow in the wildness of the mountains - The garden was very beautiful and wild, its a bit out of the town in the jungle - we loved the nature around the little bungalow and the mountains views ! The hosts were also very welcoming :) There is no services at the house itself (breakfast etc) but the bar cross the street does scooter renting and laundry so you can get around quiet easily
- Alys (10/5): Exceptional - I had a lovely stay here. The host was very friendly, and I felt right at home. The view of the mountain is stunning, and the stars at night are beautiful. I could hear gibbons and all sorts of wildlife around me, perfect place for nature lovers. There's also lots of cute and very friendly dogs, which just added to the stay!
They clearly work incredibly hard to maintain the grounds and cabins, and I would definitely stay here again
- Niels (9/5): Superb - Nice environment, very clean room with good beds/matrasses. The dogs and geese were very loud during the night.
- Morgan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julpema (10/5): Exceptional - Nice people, friendly & comforts
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - A really lovely place with a massive garden. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing few days. It’s close to many restaurants which is great. We really enjoyed our stay here and the hikes that we did in the area. It does say that they have dogs, just be warned there’s a lot of them and they do like to bark at you a lot. They’re harmless but it can be a bit intimidating in the dark if you’re scared of dogs so just be warned! But this wouldn’t stop us coming again.

- Sean (9/5): Great place to stay. - Quiet location, good ambience, nice local bar for fun evenings. Close to several really good food places.
- Marc (10/5): Exceptional -
- 00michaelp (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional - Great staff, accommodation, close to hikes and nice restaurants! Tranquil amongst nature :) Nothing other than there’s no facilities on site apart from a cafe!
- Roberto (9/5): If you are looking I’d - For the price it’s simply amazing :) near the location are many cool attractions (cave, couple of monasteries and temples, tasty coffee place, Italian restaurant and a Hippie Bar) It might be a bit loud at night (because of the dogs) but this is remarked by the staff in advance.
- Garudaville (9/5): Superb - We were the first guests after covid shutdown they were welcoming and lovely to deal with. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are great! Property has 11 dogs and some geese
I'd go back as dogs and chickens geese and dogs are normal in rural Thailand
- Klinta (10/5): Comfortable house in an amazing place. - A very nice and comfortable house with a great terrace to have a hot tea or glass of wine.
- Hogsihi (9/5): beautiful experience accommodation and nature wise - no heater in the room, some nights were freezing! left a day early :)
- Watch (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet and peaceful place with beautiful garden and near by with restuarant and coffee shop to chill out, not far from Chiang Dao cave and also with nice staff.
- Maud (8/5): Nice bungalow and garden, well located. - The place is nice and the garden is very peacefull and beautifull. It's very close to the caves. The owner is nice.
There is a few restaurants close by, but you need to eat very early as they are sometimes closing at 6pm. They have a lot of dogs, who were not agressives but who were barking and coming to you each time you enter the property. I would not recommend to stay there if you are affraid of dogs.
- Philomena (10/5): Lovely place, exceptional value for money. - Beautiful setting in a tropical garden with abundant birdlife. Very helpful owner on site. Nothing.
- Matthijs (8/5): A peaceful stay in beautiful Chiang Dao - Nice, spacious bungalows in the most peaceful and beautiful part of Chiang Dao. It gets really cool here at night. Friendly staff who helped us with a motorcycle issue. Just guard dogs behind a fence in this resort.
- Lainey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Coral (10/5): Comfy accommodation in a beautiful mountain setting - Lovely chalets set in a large peaceful garden.Veryvcomfy bed. Nothing. We will return . The host was lovely and welcoming. We arrived early and this was no problem
- Chada (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tania (7/5): You need to be confident around dogs to stay here. - Great location to stay. Super quiet, beautiful restaurant Jin's just across the road. The owner was very friendly and looked after us well. However, there were dogs owned by the property and wild that would be near the gates, near our bungalow or just on the property that would bark at us. It made it quite uncomfortable to move around the property or when we were arriving back from activities.
- Kessuda (9/5): Superb -
- Wannaree (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justine (9/5): Perfect place for sightseeing in Chiang Dao Comfortable, cute and spotlessly clean bungalow - The location for visiting the Mountain and the cave was perfect. The garden was beautiful full of scented roses and our bungalow was really cute, comfortable and spotlessly clean. For us nothing, however if someone doesn't like dogs and hearing dogs barking occasionally would bother them then I wouldn't recommend it.
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cabin surrounded by nature
friendly host
Our cabin was cleaned daily, they even provided new water bottles every day
I would definetely stay here again The room description was somewhat misleading as the mountain view was limited to a mountain glimpse when you strained your neck.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our stay as were many of the near by options. If you have your own car this is not an issue though
- Natalia (8/5): Very good - Location
Acommodation
- Tanisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natascha (8/5): Very good - Really Nice Host, good location
- Chawanakorn (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (5/5): Decent rooms, but too much noise and animals for us. Wouldn't recommend for more than 1 night. - Good location for Chiang Dao. A few good restaurants nearby. 10 min walk to the cave. Hot shower, simple room. There was extremely loud music playing nearby until at least 12 midnight. Not the owners fault. There was, I believe, a goose on the property that makes a screeching noise at random times. There are many dogs around that will bark and howl at random times. There was something crawling around in the ceiling and walls of both rooms that we rented. The bed was old and rickety.
- Nijchawan (10/5): Exceptional - Nearly Doi Chiang Dao Biosphere
- Apantri (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Great location for Chiand Dao Doi - Very well laid out bungalow and grounds. Good Internet, even in my bungalow right at the very end. pretty close experience to sleeping in the jungle.
- Franke (9/5): Beautiful location and a good night’s sleep - great peaceful location. small things like the shower head was a little uncomfortable to use (too close to the edge of the shower), and the bed was very hard. But other than I don’t really have anything to complain about.
