• Jonsson (8/5): - Bra läge och väldigt bra kök fint att de bjöd på kaffe vilket vi upptäckte när vi skulle åka. Det var en man som sprang fram och tillbaka och pratade med sig själv i flera timmar vilket kändes oroande.

• Joeri (3/5): Very poor hostel - Nice view from the location. It was a terrible experience. The hygiëne was horrible. The matress cover, the pillow and the mattress had disgusting stains on them and there was even a bedbug! The room smelled and poorly ventitaled. You're supposed to clean the room yourself or you had to pay extra. Sheets are mandatory, but they have to be rented for 15 euro's! Towels also have to be rented. But the shower facility also had very poor hygiëne. I skipped showering. There is a laundry room but ofcource one has to pay extra and the dryer sounded like it had a busted bearing. For every thing you have to pay extra. Except for the coffee in the front. Hygiëne is very poor and I expect the maintenance as well. There is no busstop and it was an 3,5km uphill walk.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Mer att önska, besvikna - Det funkade, men det finns en del att förbättra. Mycket nedgångna & ofräscha köksbord samt klädda sittbänkar vid borden, som var stora mörka fläckar på. Golvet har sett bättre dar. Detta gjorde att vi undvek att sitta & äta där tyvärr. Saknade ett litet allrum, att sitta i. Lite dammigt på ytorna i rummet & ofräsch fönsterpost med döda flugor. Hade varit bra om någon personal kontrollerat hur rummet var städat innan vi checkade in. Sänglamporna satt lite löst & rangligt på väggen. Hade varit bra med en lampa över byrån & väggspegeln på rummet. Lite trångt mellan garderoben & sängen/stolen. Vänsterhängd garderobsdörr med öppningen mot väggen, gjorde det ännu mer osmidigt. Turisthyllan verkade inte uppdaterad med gamla broschyrer. Upplevde att många av fotona inte riktigt överensstämde med det verkliga skicket.

• Sandrine (9/5): Great place to stay - The young lady at the reception was very nice. Spacious dorm. Clean bathrooms and toilets. At a 25 minute walk from the train station and form the city center. Nice kitchen and living room where you can chill out. Close to some nice walks. Note that restaurants and supermarkets are in the city center. Buy some food before going up there.

• Max (10/5): Exceptional - I had a great stay here, good and clean facilities, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Due to the low-season I was pretty much alone in the hostel, I guess in summer & winter it’s busier (I stayed middle of october). Very friendly staff! Can 100% recommend. It’s quite a walk up the hill, especially with luggage. Thankfully there are electric scooters all over Sundsvall that can be rented very cheaply (Was like 1,80€ from the city center / train station to the hostel).

• Mi (7/5): Hill hostel with lovely nature surroundings - It has beautiful surroundings, a lovely cozy hostel atmosphere and it has a lovely view. It was too far way up a hill to walk for me. The cab costs from 150 SEK to 250 SEK/one way, so add that to your costs if you don’t like to walk up a steep long road. It easy to walk down to town.

• Josh (10/5): Good value hostel - Easy check-in process, keypad code provided by text message on day of arrival. Room was basic but clean and decent for the price. Good shared shower and toilet facilities and washing machine and tumble dryer. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious.

Levererade enligt förväntan, träffade dock ingen personal under vistelsen utan fick all in-checknings info via sms/mail vilket fungerade bra. Kan rekommenderas i fall du är ute efter en enkelt och billigt boende för någon natt. De gemensamma utrymmen (kök, dusch och toalett) var rena och välstädade.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a number 11 in hostel ratings! Best kitchen, tidiness and overall management by the actual owners who are very friendly and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The building itself is an historic landmark from World War II.
