Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a good experience, staff very friendly and welcoming. Neat and clean surroundings.
- Joerg (4/5): Lion country? Forget about - Not good at all,no lion activities as advertised
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was total confusion about our booking. Why do you use agents and end up overbooking? We were told there was no booking for us when we were on our way to Gweru already. As if that was not enough, wevweee asked to pay afresh and claim back what the agent had already received.
The whole thing was avreal MESS. Another senior member of staff then did a cirrection by offering us a room accepting what we had paid to the agent.
That room was kids room. We didnt accept it and adked if we coukd have a another room. We had to pay extra amount for that room which was a lot better and acceptable besides walking with our luggage for half a kilometre.
If we didnt have extra bit of money on us, we could have been thrown out after a proper prefessional booking per world standards which left us paying for the booking and an added amount for a mistake we never caused.
We deserve a refund.
- Kelly (8/5): - We went end of July and it was really cold, about 5 C at night and zero heat in the rooms. So be prepared and bring warm clothes. The place it's self is beautiful, very peaceful. The activities are amazing! I highly recommend a visit here.
- Brett (2/5): - Upon my arrival they said they had no record of my reservation. I stood there in the lobby waiting for at least 30 minutes for them to figure things out. No one seemed interested in helping. They then told me to just go to dinner and they would figure it out. After dinner, I went back to the lobby. They had done nothing to figure it out. It was then another 30 minutes u till they gave me only one room (I had booked 2 rooms) saying that they had to go find the other key. They said my group could jut sit together in the one room while we waited. This was at 9:00 pm and we were tired from traveling. At 9:30 there was still no sign of anyone so I walked back to the office and demanded a room. I had been waiting for too long at this point. They then gave me a tent instead of a room which I was not happy about, and they didn't offer any kind of compensation whatsoever.
