• Andy (8/5): Good overall :) - All of the staff were very friendly and willing to help. I really enjoyed the hostel with its unique setup and vibe. It was very comfortable and clean. However, I thought a lot of the things in the facility was breaking down. The door for my capsule kept on falling from disconnecting from each other. And, I often had trouble with the lock on the locker.

• Rose (6/5): Ok - Konceptet med de her “bokse” er rigtig smart, men de er ikke lydtætte så du kan høre alt og alle, hvilket godt kan være en smule træls, når der er fuldt booket. Boksene i sig selv, er virkelig smart, men personalet skifter kun senge tøj, de tørrer hverken paneler eller boksen af, så der ligger et tykt lag støv inde i boksen, hvilket jeg ikke digger.... Udover det, er det et udmærket hostel, som ligger i hjertet af Zagreb.

• Jared (6/5): - This place is just ok. Don’t buy the breakfast, not very good. Locker broke after one use. Paid for the bigger pod, got the standard one. For the price conscious I guess it’s worth it.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Unique Space-Themed Hostel in a Great Location - Space-themed pod hostel in a good central location. The staff, particularly the two gentlemen in the night shift, are very welcoming and helpful. The pods feel closer to a hotel room vs. a bunk bed. Each pod has 2 fan vents, a tv, mirror, regular lights, black lights, reading lights, and a small shelf and hook. The higher end pod has a larger tv, and a foldable lap desk. Out of the three categories, the lowest one has a front loading design while the other two have a horizontal opening. Fun and unique stay for all ages.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Cute Place to Stay With Space Theme - This place is very unique and comfortable with a space theme which made this stay interesting. The staff is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, particularly the two gentlemen in the night shift (didn't catch their names). Each pod is enclosed with a door but feels very roomy and comfortable inside, not claustrophobic at all if that is a concern...it's no different in feeling like a bunk bed except with more privacy, room, and comfort. There are fan vents inside each pod, as well as a t.v., mirror, regular lights and black lights, small shelf to place your belongings, a foldable lap desk, and usb charger. There are also lockers for your bags which are large, though not large enough for a suitcase...but there is plenty of space to leave your luggage by your pod. The showers and toilets are in vertical pods on the same floor. Everything is on the same floor, you will only need to carry luggage down some steps into the lobby. Highly recommended as a unique and memorable stay in the middle of the city center! Note: I am in my 30's and enjoyed the space theme...it's not cheesy or just for kids.
• JuanCarlos (10/5): - SubSpace Hostel has a pod/capsule concept that makes it unique. Each capsule has a TV, different lighting modes, USB inputs and an electric outlet. Full privacy with sliding doors. Toilets and showers in great conditions. I would suggest adding a few details to the showers and toilets area, nothing big. Staff is awesome, they really make you feel welcome, definitely a good experience. Definitely recommend.
• Peter (10/5): Great hostel in the middle of it all! - Can't beat the location. Its just a couple of blocks from the main city square and within walking distance of just about everything you'd want to see and do in the city. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and English-speaking. The bed was pretty comfortable, and much quieter than most hostels. I'd most certainly stay here again when in Zagreb.
• Ash (4/5): Clean hostel, but very deceptive listing..... - I actually thought this was a good value hostel. But I have given it low marks for the highly deceptive nature of the listing. This hostel consists of one room with about 30 capsules. Not 4, or 8 or 10 bed rooms as noted in the listing. This one large room also contains the shower cubicals, toilets and lockers. There are two styles of capsules, front entry and side entry. The side entry (deluxe) are said to be larger but there isn't much in it. Of course the most deceptive thing about this hostel's listing is that it charges higher prices for capsules in rooms with fewer beds, when all the capsules are in the one room anyway!!! I raised this with the staff on duty, and they said it was "an error in the listing". My strong advice if you stay here is to select the cheapest capsule.....youre all in the same room anyway and there is little difference between the standard and deluxe. I hope management rectifies this deception.
