• Favored13 (2/5): We was lied to told we could stay for a week after we left for our day we was-called and told we had to vacatestay for - I booked this hotel for Priceline for three nights for me and my dad as we were doing business in Fallon. We decided to extend our stay and my dad spoke to the manager directly. She seemed like a very nice lady. He told her we wanted to extend our stay awake. She assured him it would be no problem and even offered him in lower rate in price line so we accepted, she said, come up and see me the following day and on the following day when we came up, there was a different lady in the office, not the manager just some employee we asked to speak to the manager and she told us she was not there and she didn’t know when she would be available so we asked. If she could please call us. because we had to head out for our business. She assured us that she would at 11 AM. We got a call from the same employee saying that we had to vacate the room immediately and that the manager could not speak to us and that the manager did not know what she was talking about and they had no availability and they could not keep us and she was so sorry so when I asked to please speak to the manager, she told us that the manager was not available to speak to us. I also went on Priceline and there was availability and I showed this to the employee and the employee then told me that even though it says that there’s availability through Priceline, there was not so then I had my secretary, call the hotel and ask if there was availability for my room type for the next night and next week and the same employee said yes there is we have a few rooms left then my secretary said well that’s odd because my boss is there and you’re making them vacate the room. Why are you doing this? Then the employee said whoops so sorry my computer just updated and there’s no availability hahaha there is something so crooked about this property. I would definitely stay away from this property. Something is not right. I own several businesses and this is not how you run one

I booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Fallon. Due to traffic delays we did not get in until 5 am. When we entered the hotel lobby the staff did not greet us and acted put out that they had to help us check in. The woman at the front desk was very rude. She assumed that we were coming from burning man and acted like we were there to party. I am a business professional who often uses Holiday Inn Express for business trips. I just needed a place to rest for a few hours and was treated like I was not welcome. I will not be staying here again. I spent over $400 on 2 rooms for one night and would have expected to be treated like a customer. I am very dissatisfied in this experience.

• Shelly (2/5): - I arrived at the property roughly around 1:30 in the morning for the staff to let me know that there was no rooms available, even though I have purchased a room the staff and informed me that she does not go into the rooms to see the accommodations three of us are traveling together, and she said we would have to share one king bed. She was very rude unaccommodating and when I asked her if she could contact her manager, she told me she could not However, she did eventually, and her manager accommodated us by putting us in the king room with a pullout bed.

Unable to open so I asked front desk and tgey just said to "manhandle it." Had to find a way to cut the tie straps and remove plastic covering the mattress. Then, had to call front desk again to get bedding.

I have always stayed at Holiday Inn express, but maybe it is time to move on to another establishment I relalize that there are times when it is necessary to do maintance, but maybe you should do your maintaince in the winter when business is slower than in the summer!

• kubo1999 (2/5): The opposite of customer service and hospitality! - Absolutely unacceptable experience with Holiday Inn Express Fallon, NV — BE WARNED I made a reservation weeks in advance for a suite at this location to accommodate my family of five. Three days prior to check-in, I was contacted by the hotel informing me that they would not be able to honor my reservation because no suites were available. Their only proposed "solution"? To book two separate rooms at a higher price than my original reservation — completely unacceptable. Not only did they refuse to honor the rate I had originally booked, but when I reached out to IHG's corporate support team, I was met with indifference and zero accountability, despite IHG's widely advertised Reservation Guarantee policy. Because of their incompetence and refusal to honor my confirmed reservation, I am now scrambling to find alternative accommodations with only one day left before arrival. To make matters worse, this is a holiday weekend (July 4th), so hotel prices have skyrocketed due to low supply and high demand — something that could have been entirely avoided had Holiday Inn Express simply stood by their commitment. This kind of bait-and-switch tactic is not only unethical, but it leaves loyal IHG customers completely stranded. I will absolutely reconsider staying at any Holiday Inn Express or IHG property in the future based on this experience. Travelers — book elsewhere if you value reliability, customer service, or peace of mind.

The shower door would not stay closed during showering. The day we checked out personnel tried to enter our room while in the shower. My room had no hot water and when I called the front desk, they said “yeah the whole hotel doesn’t have hot water”. We didn’t eat the breakfast upon checking out because we didn’t have hot water and I figured the kitchen staff would not be able to wash their hands in hot water.

We show up after a 10 hr travel day and state honestly we have a small non shedding dog. The young, clearly inexperienced host says, I’m sorry I can not check you in if you have a pet. We are not pet friendly. I say even if it’s a service animal, she says yes. Our dog is not a service animal, but interesting that was her answer. We show her clearly that Expedia says they are pet friendly and that’s why we booked here. She says I’m sorry, Expedia won’t change our pet friendly status. I say, I’m sorry, if that’s the case you could easily remove yourself from excepting bookings from them. She has no clear answer other than, I’m sorry, here is Expedia’s number, we do not except pets. We use to, and that’s why there is confusion. I’m sorry, there is no way they can blame Expedia for this. If they sign up to except bookings through Expedia and it says pet friendly that is set in stone. This is terrible management! I have been a web engineer for years and also been in the hospitality business. If you value your customers, you lost several tonight, and I will purposefully avoid anything related to Holiday Inn now.

• DMCRH (10/5): Reliable as ever - One night in September while tackling the Loneliest Highway. Conveniently located just off Highway 50. Decent breakfast too. If you want something reliable, comfortable and consistent with previous experience, you can't go far wrong.

I paid over 220.00 for 1 night and to get to my room it was a long walk down halls all torn up and rooms in disrepair. It looked awful and gave me terrible anxiety. Our room was remodeled it was nice but definitely not worth the price!

We told the front desk and she stated she tried to tell the contractors but they would listen to her Our room was super clean the people are very friendly oh but there beds are way to hard
• Gwen (8/5): - The whole 3rd floor was under construction except for a couple of rooms on the one end where we were. Our room was nice, but the construction smells were in the hallway. Certainly that is part of any remodel. Otherwise, we were happy with our accommodations and the breakfast was pretty good.
• Daniel (3/5): There are serious safety issues here, namely the construction area and the tap water. - Reasonably good breakfast. Nice staff at check-in. Recently refurbished room so not worn and dirty looking, but with harsh lighting. Quiet at night time. The hot water coming out of the tap was literally brown, and the toilet didn't flush properly, leaving waste in the bowl. The fridge sounded... alive, with weird breathing and gurgling noises. I had to unplug it at night to sleep. Worst of all, having to walk through an active (somewhat unsafe) construction zone to reach my room.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - The hotel was under construction and I was not notified. The hallways were scary and smelled of sewage. The second night we were informed that we would not have water between 9am -noon. If I would have known that I could have made other arrangements. Completely unacceptable

• Amy (8/5): - We had a newly remodeled room, which was nice. The only downside was that it smelled very strongly of carpet adhesive so that was why I gave it 4 stars.
• Danny (10/5): - Four nice pillows on the queen beds, clean bedding. Bathroom was spotless.
• Anna (8/5): - I Loved that the pool was 24 hours and the staff was friendly and the breakfast was okay but it was nice to be right in the middle of town and close to my families home. The room was clean and the bed was nice and comfortable. Over all very nice and I always like staying there when I go to Fallon tow visit.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - not much safe parking, broke down cars with people living in them right next to the building with a bucket out of the vehicle for the restroom. hotel was messy and cluttered apparently for construction, construction containers placed in front of building eliminating quite a bit of somewhat safe parking. front desk was nice enough. we had reserved the suite with the balcony and jetted tub for a nice relaxing evening, walked into the room and the air was stagnant, stale and had a bad odor, we opened the balcony door to let some fresh air in and right below us was the broke down car with people living in it, when we tried filling the tub the water came out brown. you would expect a bit more care for the price of this room.
• David (6/5): No bath towels. - The main complaint was there were no towels in the room, and the next morning, before I checked out but was out of the room, housekeeping took the remaining washcloths. But provided no towels. Not a good situation
• Lisa (10/5): - The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, Mrs & remodeled, smelled so fresh & clean. Pool was cool.
• Andrea (4/5): - Nasty stains on carpet and tiny inadequate gym. Photos were totally glamorized. So far I am boycotting Holiday Inn Express two strikes not giving a third try!!!

• Jeffery (4/5): Lack of info, wrong pricing, wrong room… - We paid for a 2 queen suite with pull out Only got the standard 2 queen room for 6 people. Had to get an extra room elsewhere. Also got charged $30 more than hotels.com showed as a price for the original room vs this smaller one.

• Susan (8/5): - This was a good hotel to split a trip. They have two pools (indoor and outdoor) and a hot tub. We really enjoyed them.
