- Virden (4/5): It was okay - Breakfast was nice. The place was clean entrance. But when I asked for a upgrade and would pay the difference wouldn't happen so my daughter slept on the couch. Which was okay for her. The shampoo thing was broke. Which I would think they wouldn't have room like that. There was some one else's hair on the counter. Didn't bring it up because who would listen.

- Jimenez (9/5): Great place with great access to places of interest. - It was very clean and spacious. Hotel is fairly near mall, attractions and other places to visit. All surroundings were clean and well maintained. Staff was good although you might not see them much after the evening hours. But I have to say that everyone we encountered was friendly and courteous. A couple of extra sheets per room won't hurt.

Our room was by the elevator - which was super noisy ALL NIGHT—sound sleep past an hour was impossible…plus kids running up and down the hallway-yelling! The breakfast bar was minimalistic…as well as broken. The yogurt machine did not work…no oatmeal, no eggs…only one waffle maker, gravy but no biscuits……..

Buttons on the elevators were either hard to push or didn’t work to go to floor 1 at all without pushing floor 2. Staff were super friendly the whole stay. I probably wouldn’t go back but it wasn’t a terrible stay.

The pillows were nowhere near the quality I expect of Hilton Brands. Sheets were pilled and uncomfortable, and blanket for the pull-out couch had several noticeable stains. The pool furniture had chipped paint.

When I was checking in I had to wait at least 5 minutes for someone to show up at the desk. Most of the TV channels did not work and when I called the desk I was put on hold and did not get an answer. The water pressure in the shower was very low and the lighting in the bathroom room was poor. The breakfast was ok for continental service.

The fitness room is pretty good with a decent selection of weights, cables and cardio machines. The breakfast is pretty good as well. Overall I would definitely come back

Breakfast took 15 plus minutes to refill any of the hot items and it was small amounts that quickly went out again. The bathroom smelled like rotten eggs was coming from the drain to the point if we didn't close the bathroom door it made the whole room smell.
- Washington (9/5): Great stay - The hotel is nice the staff was great the room was very clean big and spacious love the kitchen area my only complaint is that the elevator was broken has to take the stairs I’m lazy after a long day of work the last thing I wanna do is climb stairs and the breakfast was sub pair only because the food is very hot there is no microwave to heat the meat and it was hard but the waffle maker was great .. over all a good place to stay the pool was cold but it’s not exactly summer yet

- Blucker (4/5): Disappointing - The room was clean. I booked a 2 queen handicap accessible room. We were given a 2 queen NOT handicap accessible. When I told the front desk he was adamant it was accessible. There were no bars at all and I couldn't fit my wheelchair in the room. I would have to leave the bathroom door open to use it. After much complaining that this was not what I booked they found one accessible room which only had a king bed in it. We had to take it because I needed it. Not what we wanted. We were also told breakfast started at 6am. When we went down at 6:30 we were told it stated at 7:30. We had somewhere to be so couldn't take advantage of the free breakfast. Sunday we go to load our car about 7:15 and breakfast is in full swing with people already sitting down eating. So what time does breakfast really start??? We did look and breakfast is limited to bread products, waffles, cereal or Oatmeal. There were no meats and no eggs. I've never seen one this limited. This was not a good stay for us. Very disappointing to drive 5 hrs and then have this happen. We are coming back in April for a bowling tournament and will definitely spread the word about this experience. My husband put it best when he said, "if they would get their act together this would be a nice place".

The bed was made with a bed skirt as a blanket and my son was given a bed skirt to use as a blanket for the pullout couch. I never said anything but wonder if staff doesn’t know what a bed skirt is or if that’s all they had.Also the weekend staff member who was working the breakfast food didn’t keep food or other necessities stocked and several times guests had to go to the front desk to ask for things.

- 25dagobertog (4/5): Review of My Stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton KCI Airport - My stay at this Hilton location was deeply unsettling due to a serious privacy and security breach. A key to my room was mistakenly given to another guest, allowing them to walk in unexpectedly. At the time, I had just stepped out of the shower and was in the process of changing, leaving me completely exposed. This was not just an inconvenience—it was an unacceptable violation of my privacy, one that caused significant emotional distress and embarrassment. Given the severity of the incident, I expected Hilton to handle the matter with urgency and appropriate compensation. Instead, I was initially offered only 35,000 points, which did not reflect the seriousness of the situation. After further discussions, that amount was increased to 50,000 points, but I still do not believe this adequately addresses what occurred. Throughout this process, I attempted to escalate my concerns with Mary Crawford, the Director of Operations/HR, but her response was disappointing at best. After multiple follow-ups, it became clear that she was unwilling to advocate for a resolution that truly reflected the severity of what happened. Instead of addressing my concerns or escalating them to corporate, she repeatedly dismissed the matter, stating that 50,000 points were all she was authorized to offer. This level of customer service falls far below what I expect from Hilton. While I have noticed some improvements in the hotel's operations under the leadership of Jonnell Edmunds, such as cleaner rooms, better service, and a more secure check-in process, the hotel still has many issues that need attention. For example, only one elevator has been working for the past three months, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this size. Hilton is known for high standards, but in this case, I feel that corporate has not taken full accountability for the privacy breach, and the property still has long-standing maintenance issues that should have been resolved months ago. If not for the efforts of the new management, my rating would be even lower. Until Hilton fully addresses these serious concerns, I cannot recommend this location with confidence.

- rsiebel1981 (6/5): Good not great - Over all there isn’t much terrible to write about. It was kind of just an unimpressive stay. Rooms were clean. No complaints there. Did not love that it was not a connected TV ( standard direct tv only). But that’s a personal preference and not worth making a big deal over. I will say that the general building upkeep inside left something to be desired. Nothing felt well kept. And, While I understand it was snowing and people were walking in from a slushy parking lot, the lobby consistently felt dirty. I saw no attempts to mop even on an hourly basis. Just felt gross. Breakfast is always good at Home2 and this held up to that standard. Staff seemed very unfriendly and not warm and welcoming like at other Hilton properties I have stayed at. Maybe I just caught a bad day. I would recommend this hotel for quick stays, I can’t say I would stay for long periods. Over all a 3 star stay but, I could have just caught a bad couple days here.

We were on the 4th floor so we had to lug everything by the stairs. Homeless person sleeping in stairwell at night. Food safety questions on breakfast sandwiches, but kitchen attendant could not speak any English. food still on dishes in our room. Unclean towels. When we told front desk, they acted like it was no big deal. I asked for the manager‘s name or the owner of the hotel’s name and was told it was Mike. She could not provide a last name. we stayed here two other times and it was not like this at all. We won’t be back.
- Porche (9/5): It was a very stressed and strained trip for a Thanksgiving! - The staff was very helpfull. The location was not what I was looking for. I called Booking customer service and didn' t receive the assistance I was seeking! The agent I spoke to, was very discourteous and frustrated my wife and I . He took a very long time getting a manager to correct the situation and by then , after 8 hours on the road, it didn't matter anymore!

- Zulema (10/5): Top Notch Breakfast & Location Amenities Nearby - This was conveniently close to airport and all types of food and store options. Staff was friendly. AMAZING breakfast options probably the BEST I’ve experienced for complimentary breakfast. (Nice job on adding Nutella for waffles!) Rooms are very efficient with space and amenities and beds are very comfortable. I’ve had better pillows at other hiltons but they were not bad. Next time I go I’d choose this hotel again. Nothing to comment on.

- Vincent (8/5): Very good - Location, mattresses. Pillows were terrible, it sounded like the computer servers were right above the fan vent in the bathroom (room 410) keeping us awake most of the night, and the breakfast was pretty lean for an almost $200/night establishment.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Its ok. - The hotel was nice. My issues was woth breakfast nothing was stocked 8am and things were gone. When we asked for things like more gravy or waffel batter the breakfast person gave us attitudes. He never did put more gravy out.
