We were still given a room however not the one we paid for Jo was very apologetic. The room we were given on the 19th was beautiful and lots of nice touches. Freshly baked biscuits, a cheese platter and wine.

Breakfast was included, and the perfect start to the day. The grounds were picturesque, and the pool refreshing. An absolute delight to stay there.

Beautiful French Provincial feel, lovely grounds, warm hospitality. Good location too. I now know why the reviews are amazing. Lots of little generous touches, like wine/cheese platter, surprise brownies, and fresh roses by the bedside. Although there are plenty of places to stay in the Hunter, I'd absolutely stay here again, and would recommend to family.

- ayesha (10/5): - My husband and I stayed over the Queens Birthday Long weekend. The rooms have a very cottage/bed and breakfast feel, great for couples on a weekend getaway. Clean, have a heater + sitting area. Adequate parking. Ideally try to check in before 8pm to catch the host. Central to a lot of wineries. The host was wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was serviced in a common room, with the owner greeting you every morning and personally baking breakfast + leaving little baked treats in your room each day. There's a small pool next to the common area.

The complimentary cheese and wine went down a treat as we sat on the verandah and home made pizza provided on our first night was delicious and perfect after our day of travelling. Breakfast was pure dedication and a delight, Donna and Stu were up early every morning preparing fresh muffins and compotes and the surprise ‘hot dish’ each day! Donna was also the font of all knowledge on where to visit, giving us printed details and booked our restaurants and hairdresser! What more can we say, but thank you for all the effort.
