- Joanna (10/5): - What a wonderful magical place! This is the second camp we have stayed at in Merzouga and this one was a much different experience — private, quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The staff was excellent, attentive to every need. Meals were served one on one, and it was some of the best food we’ve had in all of Morocco. All arrangements were made for whatever we wanted to do (camel rides, quads on the dunes). The tent was super cute and comfortable. Hot water and WiFi are hit or miss, but those shouldn’t be the reasons one comes to the Sahara. This should be a place to unplug, learn some Moroccan/Berber culture, and reconnect. 100 percent recommend!
- Nyron (10/5): - The service at this camp is beyond excellent and the service of staff member Hamed is exceptional. My wife and I stayed at this camp on the 27-28 January, 2025. We rode the camel to the camp (separate price $25 euros) and we stopped for about an hour on the dunes to see the sunset. Our camel guide was Ishmael who was very friendly and my view is that persons who are opposed to use of camel as transport must understand that for the camel operators, this is a source of income for persons in the area. My wife and I were the only people who stayed at his camp that night and not withstanding that the other 9 camps were empty, the camp still honored our booking. In my view that is exceptional. We got the full-service including night entertainment (drumming & dancing), we had dinner (paid for separately $20 euros per person, which was superb) and breakfast which was included, was exceptional, better than what is offered in many hotels. The rooms are very cozy with a flushable toilet. toiletries and shower with hot water, better than many hotels, there is even a USB charging port and even though it is very cold at night, the blankets are more than sufficient. We took the ride out from the camp with the vehicle at no additional cost and was somewhat of an adventure going over the dunes. The grounds of the camp has seating, the dining area is separate and has sufficient dining tables and chairs with heating. This camp is very peaceful and without hesitation, I would recommend staying.

The tents are fully furnished, better than an hotel room and the staff has been incredibly caring, kind and gentle, spending the night chatting with us on the Moroccan history and berberian culture. We had there the best dinner of our entire stay in Morocco and the transfer with the camels was an extraordinary experience, thanks also to our guide, who took great care of us! You definitely cannot miss this experience!

Haddou and Ahmed are great and take good care of the guests. Food is excellent, the ladies who do the cooking tale very good care of you. In our busy lives we took an extra day to „listen to the desert“ and can only recommend this to anyone! We warmly recommend this Camp, Hamid and crew will take good care pf you!
- 740danicac (10/5): Perfect experience - My husband and I truly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. We were greeted with mint tea (of course) and enjoyed a lovely dinner in the communal dining hall. The rooms were clean, spacious and really comfortable. Beautiful sunsets right from camp. Lovely staff willing to go above and beyond. They'll arrange all your activities for you and then you just pay for everything all at once at the end of the trip (credit card works!). One day we went on a tour of the local area and met people from different communities (liked, not loved). We went on a sunset camel ride (sounds cheesy, but we had so much fun). We also went ATVing (really cool, more intense than I thought. Just communicate about your level beforehand). Food was good, traditional Moroccan but it changed every night to keep it interesting. Wine and beer available to purchase. Would definitely recommend. If I had to do it again I would probably only go for two nights. Arrive in the late afternoon, then be there for a full day, then head out early in the morning. There's just so much to see in Morocco!

The night air was chilly, but the tent was comfortable and there were extra warm blankets for the nights. We loved the location and did enjoy a camel ride into the dunes. The food was excellent. The drumming circle around the fire was fun. Great sunrises and sunsets!

- Hasshhsh (10/5): Excellent day in the desert - What a fantastic camp where we spent our saharian day in saharian camp , however we ride in camels and capture amazing sunset over the dunes , The camp and tents were so beautiful and the staff was very very friendly. The tent was perfect . very comfortable and the food was great as well. We had a lovely night at the camp fire, listening to the drums and music under a starry night . I really recommend Saharian camp for spending the night in the desert .

The tent was very spacious so there were enough extra space with king size bed and a single bed. And we could use hot water easily. After having a delicious dinner, they played music for us in front of campfire. Not only had we listened to great music, we had such a pleasant conversation with funny guys, Hamid, Hassan, Hamdi, Ahmed, Hassan ! They led me to see the stars more clearly. Luckily I could see shooting star! I will never forget the night I had in Saharian Luxury Camp. 한국에서 인터넷으로 예약하고 갔는데 기대보다 더 좋았어요. 스텝들이 정말 재미있어서 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다. 텐트가 엄청 널찍하고 온수도 잘 나와서 편했습니다.
- Tiyoon (10/5): Funniest guys ever - My friend and I had the most amusing time at the desert which we hadn’t expected at all. Hassan who led the dromedaries was patient with us, so we were able to enjoy a peaceful and nice ride. At the camp, even for just the two of us, people at Saharian Luxury Camp provided the best service, in particular barbeque chicken was the best we’ve had in Morocco. Hamid, Hassan, Hamdi, Ahmed, Hassan, all of them played instruments and we had such great conversation watching the stars by the fire and had the most wonderful time in Morocco. I will never forget these guys. Thank you so much for this unforgettable memory!!!!!
- aflyinggirl (2/5): Tents are full of bacteria - The camp and tents are beautiful. However they are fabric and have years of desert dirt on the including the carpets. The tents smell of old stale dust. I got extremely ill after spending a night there. I woke up with breathing issues which just intensified for the next day. We left Morroco the following day to Madrid where I was admitted to the hospital with respiratory failure. The doctors belive it was due to the germs and fungus in the tent itself as well as the carpets.
- sb1099 (10/5): Exceeded expectations - This was by far the best accommodation we stayed in in Morocco. Our family of 4 stayed in 2 tents, each with a huge king size bed and a twin. This was a luxury experience executed flawlessly and with style. We opted to be transported 4x4s instead of camels; our drivers were safe snd courteous. The tents and outdoor areas appeared to be professionally decorated, all furnishings were tasteful and perfectly scaled. Installation was sturdy - no sloppy lampshades or crooked mirrors. Meals were excellent, bathrooms were luxurious and worked well. Despite having modern amenities, Saharian still manages to retain the wonder of camping in the desert. After campfire, when the lights are off, there is no light pollution and the stars looked wonderful. It was an 8 hour drive from Fez to the pickup location at Merzouga. We were hesitant to make the long trip, and also sceptical of the perfect ratings on tripadvisor (65 5* ratings and only one 4* rating), and wondered if all the ratings were authentic. I am happy to say that the drive was totally worth it, and Saharian deserves its high ratings.
- Bigtunaman (10/5): This place is one of a kind...... - Arrived an hour before sunset. My camel " Alfrado" was waiting for me. Rode into the desert to watch the sun go down. Absolutely gorgeous. My guide and myself were the only ones in camp. The accommodations were super nice. Full bathroom in each " tent" I've never stayed in a tent this nice. Food and the staff were great. Played the drums by the fire till bedtime. Got up to watch the sunrise. This is a great place.....
- MelanieandRobel (10/5): Beautiful stay - We stayed here for 1 night as part of our 3 day trip from Marrakech to Fes. The camp is very beautiful, especially the private tents. It was so great to be able to enjoy a nice hot shower after a long day of travelling. The blankets and the hot water bottle that was provided kept us warm during the cold night. The staff was attentive and we were greeted with a cup of moroccan mint tea which was very nice. They also provided a nice vegetarian meal for is which we appreciated. All in all it was a wonderful stay.

Being dressed up with Berber headgear and riding the camels to our camp in the distance. Hadu, the camel leader was brilliant, taking lots of great photos of us to remember this experience. We were so warmly greeting on arrival by Mohamed who served tea and nuts. The accommodation was superb, the food was delicious and the concert that followed was great.

While we had a great time in all, our highlight was definitely the 3 weeks spent in amazing Morocco. Our trip was beyond beautiful. It was magical! I have NEVER experienced such hospitality. Moroccans are simply lovely, very easy and friendly people and, for some whom we met, we have become, as they say, their family. Fes, Rabat, Tangier, Marrakesh, Chefchaouen (the Blue City), Ouarzazate, wow, all mesmerizing, but the experience of the desert was unforgettable. Saharian Luxury Camp’s tents, facilities, food, staff, all take you on a magical carpet ride. We will return, and this time around, we will spend more time in the desert with the Berber people, our favorite one, Amar Rajdali. - 879sigridurg (10/5): Great camp - Stayed in the camp for one night. There is something magical about Erg Chebbi and this was the perfect camp to experience the desert. We spent a beautiful evening by the campfire listening to the music and being served delicious dinner.
- TLSonline (10/5): Great visit @ Saharan Luxury Camp - We had a great visit and night at the camp. Omar, Muhammad and Ahmed (hope I spelled their names correctly), were great hosts. The food, beds and tent were awesome. I recommend a camel trek and visit with them.
- candywong523 (10/5): Magical experience in the middle of the Sahara desert - My friends and I decided to upgrade to the luxury camp last minute and we were not disappointed! It was a magical experience riding the camels to the camp and be greeted with hot tea and dinner. The facilities were basic but the tents were very comfortable and clean, very comfy beds for a good night rest. The staffs were very attentive and friendly, we even sat around the campfire playing some Berber music and dance. It was a truly magical experience.
