• Eileen (10/5): Clean comfortable convenient quiet place with welcoming host - Blossom inn is in a great location just a couple of minutes walk from Ella town. Dinitrhi the host and her family were extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. They also do laundry which is great . There is a nice balcony to relax in and also lock in parking which was great for our motorbike. Lovely hosts lovely place.

• Keshira (10/5): Best stay in Sri Lanka - Everything but especially the family who own this place. They couldn’t do enough to help us out, recommending things and just being so friendly. It was a highlight of our whole trip in Sri Lanka. Really quiet accommodation considering how close you are to the centre. Laundry services. Lovely outdoor seating area for all guests to relax. It is simple accommodation and just what we needed. Nothing - it was perfect. Be aware that there is currently a building site opposite so during the day it can be a little noisy but absolutely fine at night.

• Matthijs (9/5): - Heerlijke verblijf bij liefdevolle en super aardige familie. Kamers liggen op de eerste verdieping. Familie woont zelf op de begane grond. Blossom Inn ligt op een heerlijke straatje net buiten de best wel drukke hoofdweg van Ella. In dit straatje ook heerlijke restaurantjes voor ontbijt/lunch of diner. Little Adam’s Peak en the Nine Arch Bridge op loopafstand. De eigenaar heeft ons met zijn tuktuk naar de watervallen gebracht om te zwemmen.

The room was stuffy, floor was dirty, full of mosquitos and we got bitten in the night when the power went out because we couldn't use the fan. They were also a bit difficult about payment, saying it was one price and then changing at the end of the stay, we paid a bit extra in the end and then when they didnt have change for my tuk tuk to the train they told my friend I didn't want to pay, but the issue was they didnt have change. So that was upsetting. It was a lot for what we paid overall. The pineapple juice we ordered was extremely watered down. They didnt offer extra toilet paper we had to ask each time, the toilet bin wasn't emptied daily so the bathroom smelt bad. I have stayed in much nicer places for less money in Sri Lanka. I didnt sleep well for 4 nights. It was disappointing because all the reviews say how comfortable the beds are.
• Mark (10/5): Great location, Great hospitality - Lovely stay at the Blossom Inn, just off the main strip and nearby Nine Arch and Little Adam’s Peak - the family are lovely and helpful, and can help you plan your days whilst staying in Ella. I stayed an extra night last minute and they sorted it for me with about 5 minutes notice, very grateful. I would book to stay here again.

De vader bracht ons naar vele plaatsen zoals watervallen met zijn eigen tuktuk, aan een heel mooi prijsje. Dachten ook mee na over activiteiten in de buurt. Stonden meteen voor je klaar! Ze waren zo gedreven dat het eitje smorgens al koud was maar alles compenseerde dit ruim :)

• Stephen (10/5): Cute place to stay! - The location was the best! Just a short walk of the busy street in Ella but in a nice and quiet street. The room was nice and spacious for the three of us but more can fit easily. Also the communal area is very nice to relax. The family that runs the hotel is so sweet. They gave us tips to do in the heat to cool down. My son loved playing with the cats 😻

• Luca (7/5): Nice place, but probably at the wrong time - We stayed at Blossom Inn during our time in Ella and overall had a good experience. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom, and we appreciated the mosquito net over the bed and the fan — which was more than enough for Ella’s mild temperatures in May, sometimes even too much! The location is quite central, making it easy to walk to the Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, and the town center. It’s also close to several restaurants, which was very convenient. We chose this guesthouse because we had heard that the family running it was very helpful and available to organize trips and transport. Unfortunately, we believe we arrived at the wrong time, as it was during the Vesak holidays, and Dimitri (the woman managing the place) was quite busy with the celebrations. For example, we had asked in the morning for help getting to some waterfalls, and she only responded at 10 PM — by then, the information was no longer useful. They did give us a tuk-tuk ride once, but at a relatively high price compared to local standards, which was a bit disappointing given the expectations. Another downside was the checkout policy: although the room was free and not rebooked, we were asked to vacate it by 11 AM, even though our airport taxi wasn’t scheduled until 7:30 PM. We could leave our backpacks there, but had no access to a bathroom or a place to rest during the whole day. This felt a bit inconsiderate — something that would likely be handled differently in Europe. That said, the place is quiet, clean, and well-located, and it has potential for a great stay if visited at a less busy time.

The room is a bit small, especially if you have luggage, there was a start of mold, humidity is high, the house has some construction going on and it was right under the window, the towels were pretty old and had a weird smell.

• Qi (9/5): Quiet & comfortable homestay within walking distance to the main attractions in Ella - - The homestay is in a quiet & peaceful location within walking distance to the noisy main road. We walked everywhere, including to Ella Rock trailhead, Little Adam’s Peak trailhead, and Nine Arch Bridge - Our room was spacious - we got the family room for the AC and it can fit 5 people but we were only 2 - The beds and pillows were comfortable - AC worked well - Shower pressure and hot water were good - Clothes rack in the room - The host was rather helpful whenever we had queries - There was a power cut during our stay (this is common in Sri Lanka) and we appreciate that she informed us in advance so we could charge our devices etc first. - I think the biggest thing was the taxes being charged when this was not stated in the booking, and we were not told of this in advance. The host said she was discussing with booking.com to include this information but it should not have been arbitrarily added on before it’s properly included in the booking, or at the very least, the host should inform guests about it in advance when we book. - No hairdryer in the room. We borrowed one from the host and it spoilt during our first use with a burning smell and there was no other hairdryer available.

I extended my stay because I felt so comfortable here. It’s very clean, great common area to meet other travelers too.
• Laurel (10/5): A genuine good place to stay. - The family were very kind and genuine people who really wanted to ensure that their guests were happy and taken care of.. it's in close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Just a tip, because it's in town you will hear music and celebrating on the weekends. If you want complete quiet nights go to a place where you have to walk to town. I liked being close to everything I need after hiking and I travel with earplugs. 😁 Nothing not to like. Good value and comfort.

The family that run Blossom Inn are the best, their kindness, hospitality and commitment to ensuring you have an amazing time in Ella is touching. The rooms are well kept and the location is perfect (just as short walk into Ella Town). Whenever I needed something sorted, whether that be recommendations, a scooter, a tour guide for my Ella Rock hike, a driver, laundry, the hosts were immediately responsive and happy to help. I cannot recommend Blossom Inn enough!

This room was cramped, might be good for one night, but we stayed too long. Towels didn't dry overnight, asked for fresh towels but were declined. Borrowed a hair dryer, but was demanded back the very next morning. Blanket was 50% larger than the top sheet. Judging by how other rooms were turned over, the blanket was not washed for each room turn over, yuck! The inline water heater was the weakest for our month long tour in Sri Lanka. While we were there, 80% of other guests were drivers. Unreliable wifi.
• 도란쓰 (10/5): Clean, Friendly, and Conveniently Located: Why Blossom inn is a Must-Stay in Ella - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The owner was so warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. One of the unique features of this hotel is the courtyard-like space between the rooms, which created a fantastic atmosphere for guests to mingle and chat with one another. It was a great way to meet new people and share travel experiences. The hotel's location couldn't be better. Situated right in the heart of Ella, it was incredibly easy to visit popular attractions like Adams Peak and Nine Arch Bridge. Having restaurants and supermarkets just a stone's throw away was also a huge plus. I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the accommodations. The rooms were spotless, and it was evident that the staff took great pride in maintaining a high standard of hygiene. Overall, I had an incredible experience at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ella. The combination of friendly staff, great location, and clean facilities made for an unforgettable stay. nothiing .

Which is really nice to walk and beautiful view at the night.

The breakfasts are very good (1500 LKR per person). The room (double deluxe) was too small for us and it was very hot. Even though we have a fan, we miss air conditioning. The wifi is a bit intermittent and the signal did not reach the bathroom . Otherwise, all good.

• Michael (7/5): Good - Nice owner family, clean rooms, nice smell, very good location a bit away from the "city" but still very near, good for hiking Room was very small and the furnitures (incl. bed) were quite old. Upper part of windows were just a grid and no glass. Also the WIFI worked not properly. At all, a bit too expensive, especially when you choose additional offers from the owners (e.g. breakfast, cooking courses).

The rooms were extremely clean with comfy beds, good A/C, hot water on demand showers. The owners were so friendly and helpful with great senses of humor and good stories, they spoke great English so communication was excellent. They gave an amazing cooking class with 9 different dishes, the best food ever! And the gardens on the property are beautiful. It’s like staying with your family or your good friends! They even made us a takeaway breakfast for the 6am train and gave us a lift there. I can only assume it’s the best and most fun homestay in Ella :) Everything was perfect

• Stephanie (9/5): Great base for Ella - Very conveniently located place, clean and comfortable. The bedroom of the family suite was nice and modern. While Ella is a bit cooler than a lot of other towns in Sri Lanka, we still found it great to have aircon for warm days - and for the humidity and to help minimise risk of insect visitors at night. Helpful and responsive host. The bathroom is not as modern as the bedroom, but perfectly fine to use.
• Kent (10/5): Amazing stay with beautiful family - An excellent stay in beautiful Ella. Stayed in the deluxe family room and it was perfect for our 3 night stay in Ella. Host Dinithri and her parents were amazing - so helpful and incredibly kind! We also did a cooking lesson with them and it was so fun and inspiring! (Can't wait to get home and cook some of the dishes we learnt!) Room was very comfortable and spacious. Location was great - not far to walk to main busy street, in a quiet part of town. (good laundry service across the street, and local gym around the corner - both we utilised during our stay) Thank you Dinithri and family for having us, we look forward to coming back one day to stay again! :)
• Adam (10/5): BEST PLACE IN ELLA! - Easily the best place we've stayed in Sri Lanka, me and my girlfriend both got ill in Ella and the family took good care of us. The location is about five minutes from the centre so an ideal location, it's also near a gym and launderette. The room itself is amazing. It's clean, the beds are comfortable and it's very spacious. They also offer a nice breakfast option for a reasonable price.

• Kay (10/5): Excellent, clean and comfortable, good location, value for money - Scrupulously clean guest house on a quiet street 5 minutes walk from bus stops and restaurants on Ella Main Street with a lovely terrace for chilling out. Superb owners, very welcoming and helpful. Excellent value for money. Nothing
• Rob (10/5): I enjoyed it so much that I will definitely stay again. - Ella at its best! central but not noisy, apart from the occasional singing and dancing kids routines nearby school, which I found charming. the hosts couldn’t do enough for me and looked after me when I picked up a cold as if I was family. they delivered me to my next destination too, and made sure I’d be looked after. I can’t praise them enough. nothing at all.
