Mariel (9/5): Excelente - La ubicacion es genial pero es cuesta arriba, si hay problemas de movilidad subir y bajar todo el tiempo es realmente agotador. Esta muy bien ubicado para moverse caminando a todos lados, es muy lindo, muy bien equipado. Tranquilo y una vista hermosa. Nada, fue muy lindo. A partir del segundia dia empezo a llegar mas gente al edificio y ya se notaba un poco mas de ruido, pero nada grave. La ducha habia que dejarla medio enganchada desde algun lado porque se va bajando el mango y te termina dando agua directo en las rodillas. En nuestro caso nos quedamos casi una semana, los productos de baño que te brindan (shampoo, jabon, papel higienico) te dura unos 3, 4 dias maximo.

YOONKEUN (10/5): A tower upon a hill - No one can resist “A Room with a View” in Firenze. Sitting on a sofa every morning, looking through a window towards the city, I was happy to be alive. Every moment was magical and too good to be true during my stay.

David (7/5): Was nice to be so close to the Ponte Vecchio. However, you have to walk down and up a very steep road to get down there. - Very clean and were able to check in ahead of scheduled time. We expected two bedrooms with two double beds for 4 adults. One bedroom is a single and then there is a pull out sofa. Not convenient at all. Pictures of the place make it appear much larger than it is. Also many steps to get to the apartment. Not suitable for seniors !

Although booked with self checkin, this faceless approach is shown wanting when small issues arise, especially with language barriers. Overall great place and we had a great stay! Catherine (10/5): - A great location as a home base for Florence. All of the major attractions were within a 25 minute walk, with most less than 15 minutes away. There is a great little grocery store very close by as well as many restaurants, shopping and gelato shops. I stayed in the Studiolo (for solo travelers) and was very impressed with the cleanliness. It had everything I needed and it felt like a safe neighborhood. Communication and service was excellent. The studio apartment is on the ground floor, just off the lobby, so no view of Florence, and there is the noise of people arriving and leaving the building. On arrival, I took the T2 Tram from the airport and walked from the stop at Santa Maria Novella in the Center of Florence in about 22 minutes. Overall, I rated this stay a 10/10 and would happily book here again.

It is a hike to walk up four flights of steps (after a steep but small road) but definitely worth it to stay in the il Camino room (or the Miraggio nexts door). Our room was a two story loft with stunning views of Florence. Plus it had an extra half bath, which is great for couples. Our room did not have a balcony but the room next door does. It’s centrally located right off the main path on the Oltrarno and the Ponte Vecchio. Definitely recommend this place for the location, Air Conditioning and amenities.

Vincent (10/5): - This is a great place to stay when in Florence! The hotel is exquisitely decorated, location is unbearable and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The amenities supplied by the hotel are similar to those of a 5 star hotel. The only negative is that if you drive a car, to locate the hotel is not as straight forward and there is no parking nearby. There are garages nearby but you have to reserve in advance and in our case, had to look for one farther away since the one nearby was fully booked. Definitely a gem that I highly recommend for your stay in Florence. Enjoy!

We booked this property early on and received terrible instructions , the link to enter passports didn’t work , the phone number was NOT CORRECT , the messages to property were not answered ! We spent 3 days on Expedia trying to get a hold of the property as they needed our passports for check in ! We almost cancelled as we couldn’t reach anyone . Then finally we got the right number but the phone connection was bad , then we had to connect on what’s up Finally when we arrived , one of the beds had no linens , which is not an issue as this was quickly resolved However there was the issue of getting to this property - WARNING - property on a huge narrow hill , our taxi van could not get there as construction blocked the way . We had to haul 4 suitcases up cobblestones and then down again , that was a nightmare as one of the wheels on our luggage was not up to task . Elderly people should not attempt this hill with luggage unless they want to end up in emergency room Also Property has a useless elevator that only goes one flight and narrow steep stairs … The view was amazing but lack of communication really was an issue . Also on last day the city turned off our water while one of us was mid shower If you are fit , and don’t care about stairs and other inconveniences then you will love this place

Julie (10/5): - We really loved our apartment and the communication with hosts was excellent. Grrat instructions for everything too! It is up a steep hill which was fine for us (even in 38 degrees!!) Our only negative was noise from other apartments lots of scraping of chairs and noise very early in the morning. Would however recommend and come back again.

Samantha (10/5): - The staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was beautiful, and it smelled divine. The view was excellent. I found myself just gazing out the windows. Every window had a different amazing view. The location was good but there is a very steep climb to get there. I wouldn't recommend this location to those with mobility issues. But if you are able to walk up the steep cobblestone path to get there, it's worth the hike.
Dorothy (6/5): - The housekeeping is excellent because the floor was very clean (usually hotel floors are not clean). The location is also good, but be warned that it is on a steep hill and the cobbled street is difficult to navigate with luggage (the taxi driver did not want to driver down the street). The room I had on the ground floor was dark and slightly damp. The main issue at the hotel is that there is no one on-site to help with questions, and using WhatsApp only works during office hours. The staff on WhatsApp also seem slightly unprofessional when answering questions.
LINDA (8/5): - Perfectly located to all sights, restaurants and shopping. Very comfortable and extremely clean. Wonderful, thoughtful amenities presented with a decorative flair. I will definitely be staying in this lovely hotel on any return trip to Florence. The only issue was the check-in. I was told that they did not have my reservation several times to finally only receiving a call back stating that they found my reservation. They kindly rectified their error by offering me a free laundry service. They were very effusive in their apology regarding their oversight. Despite this, the hotel is really lovely and a perfect place to stay for exploring Florence. My only recommendation would be is to verify your reservation 1 day before arrival.
Ela (10/5): Lovely and quiet place with everything you need - We loved our stay, apartment has everything you need and more! The location is perfect and it is suprisingly quiet. It is so close to the heart of the town. We enjoyed the coffee machine and tidying of the room by staff was a nice touch along with spare toiletteries, tooth brushes, slippers and much more. The shower doors don't close all the way, but that is such a minor inconvenience.

Amy (10/5): WOW!!!! One of thee best we have ever stayed at. - Amazing!!!! What a view from the room, little kitchen with coffee machine really convenient. Great location, really spotless, just WOW! Most comfiest beds ever!!!! Easy contactless check in/out. Only down fall was as a family of 4 only 2 managed a shower before the water was cold, having said that we didn’t seek advice on this.

The amenities such as shampoos conditioners, toothbrush, toothpaste, bottled water, umbrellas, were all provided! The only negative for my husband and I would have to say that the bed was way too hard for us, but we remedied the situation by sleeping in the sleeper sofa, which was very comfortable! when we return, we will definitely stay at this property again! Great communication great location and so wonderful!

The only thing that you might need to consider is that mosquitoes are prevalent in this area and like most places in Italy screens are not used. When it is wet and warm, use the AC to avoid them coming in through the open windows

David (10/5): - An excellent option for a comfortable, clean and relaxing stay whilst staying in Florence. The room was well designed with en suite, mini living room and kitchen. The property was very clean. All the small token gestures had all been thought about in terms of plentiful supply of towels, utensils in the kitchen, slippers, bathroom accessories etc. A great location very close to all the bars and restaurants - you’ll have a good workout each day walking up the steep cobbled lane m, but it’s only a couple of minutes walk. Definitely recommend the property. 5 stars.
Karen (8/5): Fantastic accommodation, great location, shame about the breakfast no longer being served. - The location was superb but be warned, it is up a very steep hill or you can go another way which involves many many steps. For those that cannot walk up steep inclines, this will NOT be for you. The room was very clean with a great view. Excellent service from owners even though they are not physically at the property, everything is communicated via Whatsapp. I did not like the fact that they did not do breakfast. It was a pain to have to get up every morning to go out to eat, especially when it is pouring with rain. The previous year we stayed at this venue and the breakfast was amazing, one of the main reasons actually that I choose to stay at this hotel a second year. I think the hotel should take breakfast orders from their guests prior to arrival and have it delivered to their rooms in a small basket, like fruit, boiled eggs, breads, pasteries, fresh juice etc, this would make such a difference.

G (4/5): - The apartment was very clean and very well presented like a 3-4 star hotel. However, this is not for someone with a lot of luggage. our room is on the third floor. The elevator, which takes 1 minute, seemed like forever, to get to the 2nd floor, stops there. You have to carry all your luggage to the third floor. Very in convenient! The road leading to the apartment has a very narrow road. Not for anyone that hasn’t driven the narrow streets of Italy. They don’t seem to have any standards when it comes to roads. You have to go to a parking garage at the bottom of the narrow road for parking unless you get lucky to find an empty spot on the same narrow road. Very inconvenient to carry 50 Lb luggage's on a sloping road. Overall, unless you’re staying here with only a 20 lb hand carry luggage and not driving a car, I would not recommend this place.

Marita (7/5): Beautiful property in the heart of Florence. No terrace! - Beautiful apartment close to the centre of Florence. The only reason we chose this property was that it was advertised as having a terrace. We had spent 10 nights in a camper van and were really looking forwards to a bit of comfort and luxury, and enjoying the views from the terrace. However, there is no terrace. Booking.com should amend the property description.

Requested some extra blankets to sleep on the couch as traveling with family and it confused the host. However, I also didn't request this ahead of time, so if you have family that will use the couch make sure to message the owner ahead of time.
Genadijus (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely place, views. Comfortable beds, bathrooms. The windows were looking out into Piazza del Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and it only took a few minutes to get to the wonderful bridge of Ponte Vecchio.
