• Frantiska (6/5): Great location - The location of the hotel is really great, most of the staff are nice and friendly, there is a spa and beauty boutique in the hotel The entrance door did not work completely and I was slightly stressed about whether I had broken it, which I eventually found out I hadn't at all. The cleanliness of the hotel could be better. I tried both breakfast and dinner, but unfortunately the food in the hotel did not please me and I would definitely recommend going out to eat instead.

Special pay more for it, and ask for it. I read all comment pages and few person mention it too. For sure for me not worth that money. But that is my opinion. • C8703QBcatherinek (10/5): Fabulous Hotel - Yet another stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff are fantastic amd very welcoming as always. The room is beautiful and suits my needs entirely. The price is justified to be able to look out at the sea from my room. Fantastic views. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy and the only noise you hear are the waves lapping at the shore. As a family we will be staying here in July and cannot wait to come back here.

• 880peten (6/5): Great staff and food. Room poor - Stayed for one night in room 232. Room directions weren't clear just easier to walk along first floor to the end and up the stairs to the room. Room was tiny, could benefit with an update however the annoying generator outside kept me awake all night. Staff were brilliant couldn't do enough and the food was well cooked,tasty and hot.

• Victoria (9/5): - Fabulous location. Lovely hotel, deluxe room was lovely. Lovely welcome from reception. Bar was not open when we returned from our meal so a bit of a dissaponitment. Young girls serving when we had breakfast were quite miserable and on their phones when they had a spare minute, need some charm lessons from the older generation. 🙂

The parking was a little tight but adequate. There was plenty of on-street parking, although I don't imagine that would be the case during Summer.

• Joe Gerhard (4/5): Good location, disappointing room - Good location on the seafront Room hadn't been cleaned, clumps of hair in the carpet and the bathroom was dirty. Staff did come back and clean but we had to ask multiple times. For the price of the room we were disappointed with the quality.

• 515lynneg (6/5): Disappointing - On arrival 11/03/2026 there was a sign on reception stating steam room/Sauna not in use, there was no prior notification of this and as the hotel is advertised as Hotel & Spa not all of the facilities advertised were available and no discount was offered. We booked direct with the hotel and received complimentary breakfast which was quite unappetising, cold plates, luke warm bacon egg sausage, disgustingly dirty sauce bottles, no bread in bread basket, sticky honey bottles, miserable looking staff all served in a large almost empty ballroom with contractors working on the building constantly walking through. The room itself was quite nice with a view of the beach, however the door did not close behind us as it stuck on the carpet so we had to ensure we pulled the door closed ourselves. There was one packet of biscuits to share which is very mean for a double room, if it was a single room the same amount of biscuits would be provided for one person. There was a car park at the rear of the hotel but it would be good if it was checked for rubbish old socks were beside our car for the 2 nights we stayed. All in all for £140 per night we found the hotel poor, on check out we were not even asked if everything was satisfactory. I probably would stay at this hotel again as the location is excellent but would be a bit more assertive in making them aware of the things that made the stay not as good as it should have been.
• A6569TUlc (2/5): I will not be returning - I called the hotel before travel and also on route to explain that I would arrive late at 22.00. It was agreed a key would be left for me as the reception closes at 21.30. I collected my key, found the lift and my room okay. I was cold wet and exhausted from my 10 hour journey and looking forward to a hot shower. However, there was NO hot water even after leaving the water to run. The shower dial was mostly ceased and could only be turned about 2cm and the shower wasn't properly cleaned. I assumed the water wasn't hot as I was late arriving. However, there was NO hot water the following morning either. I had specifically booked this hotel for its spa facilities. I therefore thought that I could at least relax and get clean in the steam room, sauna and showers downstairs. Nope ! Disappointingly the steam room and sauna were also not working only the hot tub was functional. Two other customers I met also said they had specifically booked for the spa facilities and had no prior notification from the hotel about the closures. We had all been given the reason that the sauna and steam room suddenly stopped working on the day we arrived and that parts couldn't be found for the repairs. Although tenuous, this is a possibility however the other customers said they didn't believe the manager's reasons and I was inclined to agree. When I complained to the manager, I was offered a 10% refund = £7 in total and when I said 10% wasn't acceptable, the manager replied he wouldn't refund me anymore than £7 and that the cleaners had reported there was hot water and that the shower worked. Inferring I was lying or simply wrong after paying £70 for a room with an unclean shower with a faulty dial and no hot water or spa facilities as advertised, is at best poor customer service and at worse pretty insulting. I was offered a special rate for my next visit which I gracefully declined and replied that I will not be returning.
• CAROLINE (10/5): - Beautifully furnished, comfortable room with the sea right outside. The sound of the waves. The peace and quiet. Watching people run, swim, walk their dogs along the promenade. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Room service, great fish and chips. Fresh salad.

Only stayed for one night with no meals although dining room looked very clean, tidy and well presented. Room would benefit from updating and a new carpet - existing had the appearance of being well used. Bed was not that comfortable - a new mattress would be appropriate. Bedside lamps not working and toilet roll holder in shower room was broken. Could not adjust volume on tv control - far too loud and therefore did not watch tv.

• Kathy (4/5): OK stay with a nice view but could be better for the price. - The view and the shower (after getting to know how to change the temperature there is no indication for the shower where is hot and cold and the shower head shouldn't be like that). The door to the room was tough and didn't close properly unless you closed it yourself, the bathroom was a box so was just a shower room (no space), the room was ok but no space and not overly clean but was ok for 2 days wasn't dirty and not a lot of options for tea etc also the curtains would not close properly and was coming off the hings so the light kinda kept me awake. Didn't use the heating as it was warm in the room and the WIFI was not connecting.

• Harry (5/5): Lovely but frustrating - Location and nice room Was good but had no warning there was a cycling event on when booking - we got told there was access by hotel staff and we could get out any time we wanted on Sunday - we tried to leave at 4 and then got told had to stay there till 7 o clock till the road was open. Was frustrating as had a 2 hour drive home and didn’t get back till 9 o clock which put a sour taste on what was a lovely weekend. Would love to come back on a different weekend with no events and enjoy it, just got let down by miss communication from staff at the hotel

Dinner: Could have done with better range of condiments to suit more spicey tastes e.g. hot pepper or chilli sauce, chutneys etc; Breakfast: Would have liked wider range of fresh fruit/fruit salad, greek or natural yoghourt. Choice of scrambled egg as standard and cold options e.g. hard boiled eggs and cheeses. A toast-making machine for customers to serve themselves would be a plus and choice of breads.
