I was visiting my mother for Mother’s Day and made reservations for brunch. It’s always so easy dining here and from the Valet staff, Front desk staff, to the host and wait staff. Every interaction is great from beginning to end. Big thanks to Charlene for an amazing experience at brunch and making my mother feel special with the rose and thanks to Matthew for the seamless valet experience from dropping off to bringing the car around.

We enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar but it was a tad windy in April . Savannah is gorgeous use this beautiful hotel as your base .

The room was spacious and clean. The rooftop offered nice views of the area and seating to sip/share bites/visit. It is located in a nice section of the historic district. The breakfast offerings were quite nice and staff wonderful.

But, I would like to specifically shoutout Reign at the front desk! I broke the wheels on my roller bag on the way to the hotel. And I was not looking forward to having to roll my limping bag along during my layover in Atlanta. Reign went out of her way to find duct tape and scissors and then proceeded to tape my wheels together which was perfect enough to get me home without physically carrying my suitcase through the airport. Reign is a great asset to the property and it was a pleasure having her smiling face there throughout our stay.

Reign and Robert at the front desk were absolute standouts. They were incredibly welcoming, making us feel completely comfortable, and went above and beyond to fulfill any request we had. The rooms themselves were beautifully appointed and extremely clean, featuring a very comfortable bed. We particularly loved the unique charm of the decor; it was a breath of fresh air compared to the standard, sterile aesthetic you find in so many other hotels. To top it all off, the breakfast was very good and served as the perfect start to our days exploring Savannah. Perry Lane truly delivers a top-tier experience, and we highly recommend it!

The customer service is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. Champagne is offered all day at the front desk. You can ask for a Keurig coffee machine in your room if you want. There’s streaming in the room and a comfortable couch. They provide bathrobes. For the high price we pay for the room, it would be nice to have breakfast included.

I had researched hotels in Savannah and the Perry Lane Hotel kept coming up as the BEST place to stay. We were not disappointed. It is a beautiful hotel in a great location and most importantly , the staff is amazing ! From the moment we walked in , we were greeted like family and offered champagne, which flows freely all day! Robert, at the front desk, is exceptional… professional, friendly and accommodating! Randy ( concierge) went above and beyond in making our anniversary stay so memorable, including wonderful restaurant recommendations! Thank you gentlemen! The restaurant and rooftop bar are also lovely and the rooms so well appointed. Overall, a great stay and I highly recommend the Perry Lane!

The best part is how friendly and helpful the employees are. My personal favorite is Randy the concierge who was just amazing and was even able to get us in to The Pink House even though they were booked. Robert was my other favorite who checked us in early and offered us champagne! Both were exceptional in every way!!!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, with special thanks to Robert and Julian, who truly went above and beyond. The hotel is perfectly situated between Savannah’s North and South Historic Districts, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The rooftop pool was a highlight, the gym was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was very family-friendly without sacrificing comfort or quality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah.
- harryrN6085GC (2/5): Avoid. Overpriced insult - . The service is insultingly substandard. Restaurant staff are slow, make mistakes and non responsive. Used glasses and bottles of previous guests were not removed from lobby coffee table. Concierge is useless, lazy and rude — either MIA during office ours or on the phone having people wait, and is not helpful. Food is mediocre. Even coffee takes extra long. They mistakenly added four nights of car parking fees to our bill. And argued about it even though we had NO car. They finally removed it from the bill but did not apologize. Service is totally infuriating let alone Marriot luxury property.
- 732kylier (4/5): Surprisingly below expectations - I stayed five nights at the Perry lane Hotel. I tried to work out how it got a rating of almost 5 stars on google and TripAdvisor. The only possible explanation I could come up with was great marketing. When a hotel is in the luxury collection, number 1 rated and in the top price bracket there are expectations of a great experience . This hotel falls short in so may areas there are too many to mention, if your expectation is a high end, clean, guest forward experience, you would be better off staying at another property.
- Johnplatinum (2/5): Overpriced, Cramped with terrible service. - We stayed one day during the holidays. I am Ambassador with Marriott and this has to be one of the most overrated hotels I have been to in years. Lobby is extremely small. Service was terrible. They had a limited holiday menu for room service and when I called down to order, the guy was too lazy to tell me what the items were and told me they would send a menu up to my room. 20 minutes later I walked down to the restaurant and he said "oh we forgot to send it to you". When we ordered, they carried into our room with no cart and there were no tables to eat on. When we left, I used the parking valet card to text the service and got a message, they were hustling to get my car. We then sat outside for over 20 minutes when one of the workers walked up and asked if we were waiting on a car. He told us the text feature wasn't working and after a 30 minute wait, we finally got our car. An HOUR later I got a text saying a valet wasn't available. The only part of the valet app that worked was the part where I paid the tip which I paid as soon as I ordered the car. I would have not tipped had I known I would wait 30 minutes. They also charge $4 in the lobby for a small dip coffee that is average. For $500 a night, this is just a glorified Courtyard Marriott. The only positive is the neighborhood is beautiful but there is no way I would stay at this overpriced, tiny hotel again. JW or Grand Bohemian are much nicer options.
- jcg728 (10/5): Amazing Concierge Experience - Full disclosure in that I have yet to stay here, however our children are there now and are truly enjoying this hotel. I just had to write about the wonderful experience I had when arranging an amenity to be sent to their room. Randy, the concierge, was an incredible professional who helped me coordinate this challenge from a distance. Clearly, this hotel is about service and customer satisfaction. Kudos to Randy for helping me put huge smiles on my children's and grandchildren's faces from afar. Thank you, Randy!
- 166nanettec (8/5): Good but not great! - I stayed here for one night while visiting Savannah. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient and got me checked in quickly. I’m a Bonvoy member and also booked with Amex, so some of the perks may have been related to that, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine and macarons waiting in the room—a very nice touch. I was also upgraded to a corner king suite, which I appreciated. When I arrived, there was a pack-and-play already set up in the room, which was odd since I hadn’t requested one. I mentioned it to the front desk when I went down for ice, and they promptly had it removed, which I appreciated. There were a couple of downsides. I noticed a long dark hair on the bathroom sink—things happen, but it’s still unpleasant to see. Also, I had requested the concierge send me the code for a downtown Savannah speakeasy, she said she would text it to me. I asked twice and never received it. She mentioned she was new and needed to ask how to send it, which is understandable, but a follow-up text explaining why I didn’t receive it would have been nice. The hotel itself is nice, and we had brunch at the restaurant, which was just okay. Savannah has so many great hotel and dining options that, despite the rewards perks and friendly front desk staff, I would likely choose to stay elsewhere next time.

You get unlimited Champagne and bottled water, which is a nice touch. The valet was safe and super easy.

The King bed was so low to the floor that my wife and I had difficulty getting out(we are fit seniors) No coffee in the room and operating the lights requires a degree in electrical engineering. We asked the front desk person this morning for directions to a local breakfast spot and he had no clue. Very poor use of points.

- uray50 (10/5): Great hotel, perfect location in historic district - After a 2 hour Uber ride from Charleston, it was a pleasant surprise to be greeted by all the doormen/valets. We spent October 20-24, during nice, 70/lo 80 degree weather. We walked to all the historic homes, and the SCAD and Georgia RR museums. It was pretty walking through the squares along the way. We were in room 1204, on the second floor, building 1. No noise. Nice size bedroom and sitting room. Nice sofa, bed, pillows. Nice bathroom. More expensive than my suite in Charleston, but this was vastly superior. Breakfast at the Emporium every morning. Excellent service. Nice food, The Savanah Theater is across the street, and we saw Little Shop of Horrors on Wednesday night. Packed show, but we got tickets the night before. The private car/chauffeur is a great service. We booked each time 30 minutes in advance, and took it to 2 restaurants by the river, and a shop on Bay Street. Escalade with great professional drivers. We could have called for pickup, but after dinner it was a nice walk back to the hotel. Great hotel, top notch service, excellent location.
- AMPfromBNA (4/5): Disappointing given the price and how many other great properties are nearby. - Overall the stay was fine. The hotel would normally meet my expectations of a Marriott Autograph collection hotel. But this is a Marriott Luxury collection hotel and was priced at such, over $500 a night for a mid week rate. A few things to call out. First, the hotel room is technically well done. But they are missing attention to detail. The bed has 4 pillows. They were all overstuffed foam pillows. I would have expected two foam and two feather pillows as a standard. At a luxury hotel, you’re often offered a choice in your pillows. I probably could have asked and they would have helped. But I didn’t figure out the pillow situation until after 11pm when I went to bed, and when I called down I was placed on a hold of which I gave up on after 5-7 minutes waiting. Part of the point here is… at a luxury hotel you shouldn’t have to wait and ask. They should be proactive. Part of the premium in paying for is proactive customer service. This was a big miss. Next problem: When I arrived the room was freezing cold. It was 50 degrees outside and the room thermostat was set to 64 degrees! I quickly adjusted it up to 70 before heading out for the night. When I got back, the room was still freezing! Turns out it wasn’t just set to a low temperature, but to A/C mode only not combo with heat. So there is some minor user error here, but again the point of a luxury hotel is to create the best experience possible. No one wants a 64 degree cold room when it’s also very cold outside. To sum it all up… they can and should do better. There are too many amazing hotels in Savannah at a similar or lower price point. Absolutely nothing about this stay justifies the price they ask.

- HeatherS4687 (10/5): Top Notch Stay at Perry Lane Hotel - We had a wonderful visit to Savannah and an exceptional experience at the Perry Lane hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. You get free champagne on arrival or anytime through out your stay! A special shout out to Randy (the concierge) for making some great recommendations and helping us in so many ways throughout our stay. He truly went above for us! Be sure and take advantage of the black car service. They will take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius of the hotel. Both bars at the hotel have incredible cocktails, special shout out to Jeff the bartender at the Emporium kitchen and wine market. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and very well run. The lobby feels like home. It was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holiday season. Every staff member we encountered made us feel welcome!

Randy, their concierge gave us some excellent suggestions for tours and dining that did not disappoint! All of the staff members were very friendly and professional. Another favorite was Jacob, our bartender at the Wayward.
- gabbync4 (10/5): Book the trip!!!! - We did a last minute booking at Perry Lane and I am so glad I did because this hotel and everything they offer is exceptional. We were greeted by the valets when we pulled up and they were amazing when welcoming us to the hotel. Shoutout to Joey, Trevor, Antjuan and Semaj. Everything was absolutely seamless from the time they helped us get our stuff out of the car to bringing all up to our room and several surprises along the way! We were greeted with welcome drinks that we could enjoy while we were there. Our kids were greeted with a huge treasure chest filled with toys. When we went to our room we had even more surprises (fresh cookies and wine). I had a bunch of milk that I needed to freeze for my newborn… within minutes someone brought us a mini refrigerator to our room! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Savannah and stay at this amazing hotel! Thank you Sy and all those that made our spontaneous trip one to remember!

- KemiL (10/5): Fantastic Experience at the Perry Lane - We stayed here for our 25th anniversary for several nights and were really impressed with the Perry Lane. The staff here offers amazing service. We were offered champagne at check in (and more if you want to put it in a to go cup), always being greeted when we walked through the lobby, and friendly complimentary car service. Also, every time we walked up to the door, someone was there to open it for us and ask how our day was. We upgraded to a Grande Deluxe King and it was worth it! There are two towers (two buildings across the cobblestone street from each other) We had a very spacious room with windows on two sides of the building. We came back to our room to find that housekeeping had rolled up our charging cables and tied them with zip ties - I have never seen housekeeping go above and beyond like that! We used the car service to go to Starland Yard and our driver was so friendly and knowledgeable and he gave us lots of tips in the 5-10 minute drive. We didn't have a chance to use the car service again as everywhere else we went was pretty close to the hotel. Thoughts on the room - our room was really large with a little hallway that had a table and extra space. There was a complimentary umbrella (but also more availabe in the lobby). The bathroom was spacious with a HUGE shower. The faucets were a little confusing - the first day we were able to figure them out but the next few days got confused on how to manage the two faucets to get the right amount of hot water. Pool - the pool is really really small. Restaurants/bars - Peregrin - the rooftop bar, beautiful views, and the bartenders were very attentive. The Emporium - we only had drinks here. The bartenders were great and attentive and we were very happy with the service. Wayward - ugh this bar was very crowded as we were there during a wedding weekend. The bartenders seemed overwhelmed and we waited for almost 10 minutes before we got someone's attention. Unfortunately some drunk people behind us yelled their order over us so we decided to leave and go to the Emporium. This is the place that has the popcorn machine so we did go every night after dinner to get some popcorn. Would only go back to get popcorn. Gym - this was one of the best hotel gyms I have been in. It's pretty big and they have 2 pelotons and lots of weight options. The only negative - no windows because it's in the basement. Other notes- There is no coffee maker in the room. You need to go to the coffee shop in the lobby to get your free coffee or pay for a fancier coffee or breakfast. I saw lots of people coming down in their pajamas but it's a little odd you can't just have coffee in your room. Art - there is a lot of beautiful art in this hotel. They have this funky baby statues by the elevators in the north tower that got moved during the day. It was very entertaining for the guests!

- 279lylem (10/5): One of the best hotels in the world - We have been fortunate to travel all over the world, and we would rate the Perry Lane among the very best. It is very welcoming, perfectly designed and in a great location. The beds are very comfortable, and the designer of this hotel thought of everything for their guests. But what makes this hotel truly special is the staff. Lead concierge Jennie became our amazing new friend; she is a wonderful person who felt like family. The rest of the staff was equally friendly, from the valets to the front desk staff (especially Precious who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed when we checked in - coffee in our room and an extra fridge, for example. Champagne is always being offered to the guests, and you can tell that everyone who works at the hotel absolutely loves it. They genuinely care. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!
- Travel40666366965 (8/5): A very nice hotel in a great location - The staff at the Perry Lane Hotel are friendly and helpful, right from the time we pulled up outside until we (sadly) left. The hotel is in a great location and we never got our car out over our 3 day stay, we could walk everywhere we planned to go. The hotel and our room were very clean, and everything was working. We had two breakfasts and a lunch in the dining room, and we tried the bar on the roof which has excellent drinks and a great view. The food was good and the wait staff were friendly and efficient. They should put a little card in each room, explaining how the light switches and dimmers work, and explaining how to operate the shower controls. We were baffled by those. The mattresses have a ridiculous, soft, squishy pillow top offering no support to your spine, pelvis or shoulders. I woke up each morning with a throbbing pain in my back, and needing several cups of coffee to get going. Other than this, our room was comfortable and quiet. I would also prefer at least one chair in the room (we had a deluxe king room). There was no noise from traffic or other guests, and we had a nice view out the window. The climate control was precise and quiet, too. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay here again!

- Sunshine02266061168 (6/5): This feels like an Autograph Collection hotel. - Starting with the arrival, there are two buildings and when I arrived at ~7pm, there were no hotel employees outside directing me, so I walked into the south building and was aimlessly walking around for a few minutes trying to find the check-in counter - at which point another group of guests kindly directing me to the north building. Check-in experience was fine, nothing special, though I had noted I wanted late check-out per my Platinum Elite benefit, which was not inputted properly and caused confusion at check-out. The room was okay, mattress was comfy but thought the design was much more reminiscent of a nice Autograph than a Luxury Collection hotel purported to be the nicest hotel in Savannah. The faux leather wall covering in our room was really scratched up, which took away from the high-end aesthetic. Also the room temp was set on 60F, which was an uncomfortable start to our stay. The bathroom, however, was impeccable. Truly no comments, I was really impressed. The lobby design was nice and we enjoyed a few drinks at the Peregrin rooftop bar. Overall, it was a fine stay for a few nights, but not particularly impressive. We ended up extending our trip and moved to the Bardo, which was a much better experience.
- jdelyani (8/5): Great choice in Savannah - one piece of advice for the management. - The hotel met and sometimes exceeded my expectations. The property is located in the center of the historic district, you really could not do better than this. The building is beautiful, located on a quiet side street, a short walk from virtually anywhere a visitor would want to go. The rooms are better than the website represents, well apportioned, spacious and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The only criticism I have is the cost of drinks from their two bars (which are lovely). This is a luxury property so I am expecting to be up-charged for certain items but the bar charges are exploitive. A glass of wine for $30 from a wine that I buy for $45 a bottle... a Manhattan that uses a well know bourbon that is moderately priced costs $24? It isn't the few dollar differential, it is that guests are paying upper end to stay at the property in part because of the amenities, we should not feel like we are being taken advantage of for our choice.

Misguided on car service availability after calling the front desk. When we showed up there was no car service available it was full and next ride would have made us late so we had to pay for Uber instead. Room smelled like a pool. Expensive silver jewelry tarnished from pool water chemicals. Offered nail polish remover to fix. 24/7 room service was closed at 10pm when I wanted to order something. Tablet in room not working. Was not on charger correctly. Valet car not retrieved per text. Valet stated mix up on key tags. Charged for mini bar item when nothing was consumed. Not notified other than monitoring credit card expenditure’s.

Our room was spot-on: comfy with luxe linens, plus beautiful furniture and finishes. Staff were attentive and plentiful, always ready without hovering. The Emporium restaurant was a highlight—delicious room-service desserts and an incredible breakfast, with amazing servers and baristas.

The hotel's proximity to restaurants, historic sites and shopping make it a must stay. Eric in the hotel Emporium Restaurant & Wine Bar was a delight, and Randy Rodriguez, the concierge, provided a wealth of knowledge regarding restaurant options. The complimentary wine and macaroons sent to our room in celebration my wife's birthday was a classy touch.

Not as dog friendly as other luxury properties (didn’t provide dog bowls, extra nightly fees in addition to one time fee). Even as part of Amex fine resorts, limited service and fewer benefits one would expect from similar types of properties.
