Guest Reviews
- Nicole (2/5): Extremely scary and shady! - Followed the directions and called 24 hours before arriving and was told that we would be meeting someone from the company to pick up the key. Was also told that we would not be meeting at the location, they asked us to meet them 2 blocks away from where we THOUGHT we would be staying. When I called to get this random location, they asked me what I was wearing so they could find me..shady! When we arrived at the location some random guy walked up to me and told me to wait at the location across the street, so I called the company back and they told me to go back to the original location and that they do not know who this random guy was that approached me! When someone from the company finally arrived, with a luggage bag full of keys, I found out that we would not be staying at 20 Blue Jays Way but 300 Front Street?!? I told the guy that this isn't right, that our booking stated 20 Blue Jays Way and he pointed at my name and said “is this you” and I said yes but this is not the location I was told when I booked and he pointed at my name again and said is this you ugh! When we got to the room there were still 3 guys in there cleaning, so we waited in the hallway until they came out. And of course when we walked into this room it did not match the pictures on the booking site at all! Very scary experience for 4 women traveling internationally.
This was something out of a horror movie!
Going forward, I will only book with the larger hotel chains after this experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A great location within walking distance of the Entertainment District, with a nice kitchen, bath, and living area, but a terrible mattress. My husband slept on the couch so I could sleep in the middle of the bed. The communication for check-in was confusing and a huge waste of time since we weren't told in advance that we had to go to a different property two blocks away to check in. Also, you can't wear shoes inside the unit because it has cheap Pergo floors that would scratch easily. And the hair dryer didn't work. A mixed bag, all in all.
- Calvin (8/5): - Nice location, no on sight services.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - By far the worse vacation decision I've made.
Check in was a disaster. They held it on a fold away table next to elevator shaft in a different building. The guy kept looking over his shoulder every time someone walked near. The reason became obvious after seeing the property.
We were charged $77 for cleaning services. Pure fraud.
Bathroom was filthy. Mold in the bathtub. Dirt on the floors. The rest was wiped down. Not properly cleaned.
Condom wrappers under the dresser in the bedroom as well as dust bunnies that were obviously built up over a period of time.
Bed spread so thin you could clearly see the mattress underneath. Obviously there was no mattress cover.
Pots and other dishes in the cupboards were not cleaned properly.
Didn't dare to attempt to use them.
No dish cloths or towels in the kitchen.
Most of the furniture looked like it was picked up at yard sales.
Beware of these crooks.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property was very clean and was very nice. The room was very clean. Only issues we had were the beds weren’t very comfortable. Location was of the property was perfect. We walked to everything. We only used public transportation to see what it’s like there otherwise you can literally walk to everything from there. The express train to and from Pearson airport roughly 2-3 blocks away or you can walk to the train right from the building through the PATH.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Poor Service, poorer cleanliness - Check in was a nuisance. You have to go to a secondary location, where someone takes a picture of your ID with their cellphone. This was after they initially advised someone would meet me at the property to give me a key. When I mentioned this to the person at the second location, his only response was "I do not know why they are always doing this" I suspect it is because they know no one wants to drag their luggage through three blocks of downtown Toronto to pick up a key.
Condo was not in good condition. Terribly installed laminate flooring with half inch gaps in some spots was gross to walk on. General cleanliness was an issue, as the bathroom was grubby, and one of the provided towels had something stuck to it.
I was there for three days, the WIFI worked only for the first day.
Also, the basics like toilet paper were not stocked
- Mark (10/5): I would recommend - The location was great.
Room was nice and clean. The dining room chairs were a bit uncomfortable but they did have a set cushion so that was a plus.
No soap but did have shampoo.
Unfortunately the fire alarm went off at 5:30am on my last day there but there is nothing you can do about that.
Overall a great experience
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Check in was simple however was not expecting to have to walk to another location to get to our accommodation with luggage medical equipment and kids. Once there the condo was wonderful, location was perfect and exactly what we expected from the photos and description.
- Joseph (8/5): - Missed having a front desk to answer our questions. Had trouble getting lights on and TV functioning.
Written directions would be helpful. Our wifi signal was very weak, 1 bar. Perhaps a written list of guest responsibilities at the end of the stay would be of use. i.e. garbage disposal.
Loved the location.
- LouiseRafael (6/5): - The Elements Boutique is a central located complex and is safe. However of the 6 days I stayed there we had internet only the last two days. I spent hundreds of dollars on roaming costs because they did not address the issue until a day before my checkout after I sent an angry letter. I will be sure never to stay there again, not because of the internet but because of the poor service they gave me.
- Harold (10/5): Mtg in Toronto Metro Conv Center? Stay HERE! - You outdid yourselves on this property! I went to Toronto for a convention and it's usually a huge hassle to get a room near the convention center. Not only was this convenient to the convention center, it was a whole 12th. floor apartment! Clean, nicely appointed, full-sized kitchen and utility room/washer/dryer, balcony with table and chairs, leather sofa and chair, across from ballpark...someplace you'd actually be able to take customers/clients back to...I am very happy with this place! I recommend it highly!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I loved the privacy and apartment style setting. The location was perfect for getting around the city. We had no need to get a taxi to union station as it was walkable. There were restaurants, coffee places and a grocery store near by.
The room may need a quick spring cleaning but other than that it was perfect.
(My husband was bite by a dog coming off the elevator. I understand the dog may have been nervous but with the changing of residence that often the dog should have been kept closer.)
- Janice (8/5): Beautiful unit - It was a great location, clean, quiet and space was perfect for 4 of us.
My only minor dislike was we only had 1 key and we had to figure a way how to ensure we got in of our party of 4 split up. I would suggest to get a second key made.
The other thing that was a bit annoying was the dryer power button wouldn’t stay on. I bought strong packing tape from shoppers down the street and taped it down, but would have been nice if I didn’t have to.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location of this property was excellent with walking distance to all main events or requirements for Toronto. Really clean and nice property with lots of appliances to hand
- Kashife (10/5): - The unit is very clean and comfortable. It also has a breathtaking view of the CN Tower. I highly recommend it!
- Steve (10/5): - Location real;y great for my meeting and the price was right.
