• Ellie (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer! - It was an absolute dream to stay the night here after 2 months on rock hard beds!! We wanted to splurge on a treat and staying here met that expectation. The swimming pool was the best, so deep and clean and with a gorgeous view over the river. The bath was perfect too and those soft mattresses 😍

• Bill (9/5): - The ambience from the entry through to the room was lovely. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. My poor ability to speak Thai was easily overcome by the excellent grasp of English by the staff. The staff at the Railway Restaurant deserve a special thank you. We stopped by for lunch and they went out of their way to start up the model train and make us feel like welcome visitors instead of customers..... Then when we arrived at 7.20pm (10 minutes before last orders) we were made to feel very welcome again. The food was delicious and made more so because of the staff attitude. 🙏🙏🙏 Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Also catered for both Asian and Western tastes. Very enjoyable..... Loved the spa bath and bubble soap..... The bed took a little getting used to because of the 2 donnas. It made it a bit hot in the middle. 😂😂😂 Okay, I am over 70 years old and have problems with my knees. So having to walk up and down the stairs to reach the restaurant was a problem because there is no hand rail for support. My wife was there to assist me but I really think that a hand rail would be a safer option.

• Guni_67547 (9/5): Toller Flussblick, top Lage und rundum überzeugendes Hotel - Das Check-in und Check-out verliefen unkompliziert und schnell. Alle Angestellten waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut: Das Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal ist etwa 2,5 km entfernt, der Bahnhof rund 1 km. Besonders praktisch – auch für den Notfall – ist die Nähe zum Saeng Chuto Hospital, das sich nur ca. 2 km entfernt befindet. Am Abend bietet die unmittelbare Umgebung eine große Auswahl an Bars mit und ohne Live-Musik sowie zahlreiche gute Restaurants und Street-Food-Stände. Auch die Nachtmärkte sind definitiv einen Besuch wert: Der JJ Night Market in der Nähe des Bahnhofs (ca. 800 m) schließt um 22 Uhr, während der Kanchanaburi Night Market nahe des Busbahnhofs bis 4 Uhr morgens geöffnet ist. Die beiden Wochenendmärkte schließen jeweils gegen 22 Uhr. Die moderne Einrichtung überzeugt insbesondere durch die Bodentiefen Fenster, die für helle, licht durchflutete Zimmer sorgen. Trotz vieler Holzdekorationen wirken die Räume durch die weißen Wände angenehm freundlich und offen. Der Pool hinter dem Haus, der angrenzende Garten sowie die im gesamten Hotel verteilten Pflanzenkübel schaffen ein harmonisches Gesamtbild. Ein besonderer Blickfang beim Betreten der Anlage ist die große Holzschnitzerei hinter der Rezeption. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel – nicht nur in den Zimmern – war durchgehend auf sehr hohem Niveau. Das täglich von 06:30 bis 10:30 Uhr angebotene Frühstück war lecker und abwechslungsreich, mit einer gelungenen Auswahl an europäischen und asiatischen Speisen. Der Restaurantbereich zwischen Pool und Garten bietet ein sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Der Außenbereich verfügt über zahlreiche Sitzmöglichkeiten und einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Fluss sowie die dahinter liegenden Berge. Auch der Pool ist ansprechend gestaltet und bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf Fluss und Garten. Beim Frühstück, das von 06:30 bis 10:30 Uhr angeboten wird, wäre eine Verlängerung der Zeiten wünschenswert – beispielsweise bis 12:00 Uhr. Durch die Lage im lebendigen Nachtleben von Kanchanaburi steht man gelegentlich später auf. Ich persönlich habe dadurch leider ein sehr gutes Frühstück verpasst.

Cross trainer is good but treadmill didn't work and bike was very old. It's not a big problem because nobody goes on holiday to workout 😂

Airco werkte goed. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en top geregeld. Locatie is perfect. Alles is op loopafstand te doen. Avondeten zou ik aanraden buiten de deur. Vloer is wel erg glad bij het zwembad. Lampjes in het buitengedeelte van de zwembad kamers zou een mooie toevoeging zijn.

De andere helft van hout en zonder kussens, dus na 5 minuten is dat ook klaar. Het hotel kan verder wel een opfrisbeurtje gebruiken qua schilderwerk. Prima voor 1 nacht.

The access to the restaurant and further onto riverfront level , i do have concerns as 2 levels of stairs and no handrails. The access to the swimming pool was across 4 stepping stones. The surround of the pool is uneven stones, so not easy access. In the exercise room, the running machine was out of order on my arrival and still not repaired when i left, 15 nights.

• Stephen (7/5): Great pool but that’s where it ends - The pool is amazing but can be difficult to get in and out of due to sharp rocks surrounding the pool. The amount of variety for the breakfast. The cleanliness and state of the facilities. The pool side sun beds were in poor condition and had tears in the mesh and the wooden ones were so hard that they were uncomfortable to use, suggest buying some cushions for them. They seem to spend a lot of time sweeping but the floor area around the pool is filthy, leaving you with dirty feet. Also having to go to the restaurant to get pool towels and having to sign for them makes it feel like you’re not trusted. We would further suggest that rather than read the riot act before people sign in,land asking people to sign makes it feel unwelcoming. We also noticed that staff were required to take photos of their work, to outsiders it seems that company doesn’t trust them. Pool side service from the staff in the restaurant would certainly add to the service levels which was totally lack luster, from check in to check out. Absolutely no disability access to recreational facilities or restaurant,which is strange because they have a button on the elevator specifically for people who may be wheelchair users.

• Ten Broeke (9/5): Erg goed hotel met mooi uitzicht over de rivier - Een heerlijk hotel met uitzicht op de rivier. De kamers zijn mooi, ruim en schoon. Je mocht niet roken op het hotel, wat wij jammer vonden want daarom hadden wij een kamer met balkon geboekt. Het ontbijt is heerlijk, uitgebreid en vers. Goede koffie en je kunt lekker buiten zitten als je dat wilt. We hebben niet gegeten in het hotel, maar wel wat snacks en dat was prima. -

• Ginevra (10/5): Hotel fantastico - La struttura nel complesso è tenuta bene ed è molto facile da raggiungere (noi ad esempio lo abbiamo fatto a piedi dalla stazione). La piscina è fantastica, ben tenuta ed un vero e proprio toccasana dopo le giornate in giro. La stanza era spaziosa e con vasca idromassaggio, anche questa favolosa, il tutto con una vista mozzafiato sul fiume. Abbiamo anche usufruito dell'ottima colazione della struttura e siamo stati davvero soddisfatti. Lo staff è molto cordiale e collaborativo. Siamo stati due notti ed è stato un soggiorno fantastico! Nulla da segnalare.

• marian (8/5): מלון חמוד במיקום ובמחיר סביר! - מיקום המלון מרכזי מאוד יש הרבה בתי קפה ומסעדות. החדרים שפונים לנהר עם נוף מרהיב , בעיקר לקראת השקיעה ! החדר מאוד קטן, מעל הכיורים יוצא חום בילתי סביר ( אוליי ממנורת הספוט מעל) כשמתקלחים המים יוצאים מתחת לדלת הזכוכית ומרטיבים את החדר (ניתן לספיגה ע״י המגבת)

• CHAOYI (10/5): 能在這裡享受一整天的時光 - 1. 地點方便，路口就有一家LOTUS超市，再往前走也有其他超市，沿路有許多餐廳小販，步行去火車站的JJ夜市也不遠。 2. 房間寬敞，打開兩個大行李箱也不是問題。每個房間都有陽台且望向桂河，讓人感到愜意。 3. 工作人員態度親切有禮，早餐蠻好的吃，可以邊享用餐點邊欣賞河景。 4. 可以選擇在漂亮的花園或是游泳池享受悠閒的下午，就算不出門也不覺得無聊。 無
• ian (9/5): Excellent hotel close to everything in Kancharaburi. - Very nice comfortable room with river view. Nice spa bath and shower. Breakfast good and nice pool too. Close to bars and restaurants - short tuk tuk ride to the bridge and stations. Nothing very nice hotel.
• Inna (9/5): Stunning view and delicious breakfasts - The location was wonderful, and the view from our room was truly picturesque. It’s a perfect place for people who appreciate both comfort and nature. The double bed was large and very comfortable, and the swimming pool was excellent. Breakfasts were delicious, with plenty of options. We also enjoyed seeing a variety of birds and plants around that we had never seen before.

• Luca (9/5): Bon emplacement et hôtel globalement sympa. - Son emplacement, son personnel, la baignoire à remous, la vue sur la rivière est magique. Un peu délabré par endroit, on sent l’âge. Devoir descendre au restaurant pour les serviettes de la piscine qui se trouve à l’étage où il faut ensuite remonter. La salle de gym est terrible…dommage d’avoir de si belle baignoire dans les chambres et de ne pas offrir au moin du sel de bain ou mousse de bain de manière gratuite.
