• Rahul (7/5): Fair - The breakfast spread was decent . It gave us a good start for the day Their should have been electric kettle and tea / coffee set in each room . This apart 1 washroom across 4 rooms is uncomfortable
• Joseph (8/5): Charming Turkish B&B - A fantastically beautiful building with a very B&B vibe. The Turkish breakfast was absolutely delightful and seemingly endless The private bathroom is not an en suite so you have to walk across a corridor to use it.

• Pasquale (9/5): LOCATION COMODA E BELLA A SAFRANBOLU - La posizione centrale a circa 300 metri dal centro antico di Safranbolu. La struttura esternamente ma soprattutto internamente è spettacolare in stile ottomano , la camera e le parti comuni con oggetti e tappeti caratteristici in stile . La camera non disponeva di aria condizionata ma non ne abbiamo sentito la necessità. La colazione ottima e abbondante . Parcheggio disponibile a pagamento a 100 metri , ma noi con la moto abbiamo parcheggiato gratuitamente nel cortile della struttura . Forse se si capita in un momento di caldo intenso la mancanza dell'aria condizionata può essere un problema. Non ho chiesto se altre camere avevano l'impianto , probabilmente vista la forma , la disposizione e soprattutto lo stile delle camere potrebbe anche non essere possibile installare i condizionatori a meno di una ristrutturazione assai profonda di tutto lo stabile.
• Emre Ladikli (8/5): - Konumu gayet merkezi. Mimarisi, arka bahçesi çok huzur verici. Kahvaltısı gayet tatminkar bir konak.sessiz ve keyifli bir ortamı var. Klima olmaması büyük eksik. Büyük ihtimalle konağın mimarisi bozulmasın diye takmamışlar ancak sıcaklarda bunaltıcı oluyor.

The elderly lady owner was very kind, and it felt like staying at a friend’s home. The breakfast the next morning felt very special, almost like royalty. The garden on the first floor was beautiful. 房間像電影場景，奶奶老闆娘很親切，像到朋友家住宿的感覺，隔天早餐很尊榮感，一樓的庭院很漂亮。
• CHANGHOON (9/5): - 사프란볼루 구시가에 있는 숙소로 옛날에 지어진 주택을 체험할 수 있어서 좋았어요. 주인 아주머니 친절하시고요. 시내구경하기도 좋습니다. 옛날 주택의 마루바닥 구조라 걸을때 삐그덕 소리 나고요. 화장실이 방에 있는 것이 아니라 이용시 신경쓰이는데 옛날 집 체험이라고 생각하면 그렇게 나쁘지는 않습니다.

It is not allowed to walk in the street shoes inside the building , the owner offers hotel’s slippers but they are multi-use ones, it would have been better to provide individual ones.

• Elise (1/5): Stay anywhere else. This was BAD. - Nothing. We’ve traveled to over 30 countries and are not picky or critical people. The photos are completely photoshopped and comments are utterly false. Our reception was cold if not rude. The “executive double room” was tiny. We walked sideways to get around the bed. Same for the bathroom. The carpet on the stairs was coming loose-a real falls hazard. There was no drinking water or drinking glasses. No toiletries. We can easily live without a TV, in-room coffee or tea and mini bar but there was absolutely nothing to make our stay pleasant including the host. It was dark and cold. No heat in the room. The towels were in a bag in the closet, none in the bathroom. The outside area was neglected and overgrown. No place to sit either inside or outside. Gloomy and depressing. DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHOTOS OR REVIEWS! We booked for two night but left early after the first night without breakfast.
• Jean (10/5): Exceptional - This mansion is the perfect place to spend a few nights in, especially if you want to immerse yourself in one of the things that Safranbolu is known for - Ottoman era houses and architecture. It has been loving restored by the owners. Beautiful textiles, historical decorative pieces, weathered antique furniture with stories - no detail is out of place. If you love history, it will feel like you have been transported to the past. Every corner is like a photograph. But a home is truly alive because of the people in it. And the host, Sevgi Hanim, is the heart of this mansion. She is such a lovely person, our stay was so much more special because of her. Also, the delicious Turkish breakfast that she prepared every morning kept me full until dinner. We miss her warm smile already! Some other things to note: the rooms are very clean and well maintained. Depending on which room you get, you might have to share a bathroom. But it is not a problem at all. The mansion is located on a quiet street, yet is is within walking distance to a lot of the major sites in Safranbolu. Markets, eateries, they are within easy reach. We were lucky to spend 3 nights here in October, soaking in the historical atmosphere of Safranbolu. If I ever get a chance to visit this beautiful town again, I know where to stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Gidilmeye değer - Yaklaşık 170 yıllık konakta kalmak çok özel bir deneyim. Üstelik eski çarşıya bu kadar yakın bir mesafede olması ayrı bir ayrıcalık. Sabah kahvaltıları ise hem lezzetli hem de doyurucuydu. Hatta az yiyelim de dışardaki yöresel lezzetlere yer kalsın diye düşündük. Eski adetleri yansıtacak şekilde havluların tülbent içine sarılması ayrı bir güzellik. Konağın kendisine ait bir otoparkı yok ancak oldukça yoğun bir dönem olmasına rağmen önündeki sokakta yer bulmakta hiç zorlanmadık. Ancak, bu güzellikleri daha da iyi hatırlayabilmek adına özellikle yatakların konforu anlamında biraz yatırım yapılması gerektiğini düşünüyoruz.

• Chevalot (10/5): Comme a la maison. - Très beau Konak au calme . Très jolie chambre. Accueil et tout en douceur de notre hôte. Super petit déjeuner avec des pâtisseries et des confitures maison. Bref: un pur bonheur.
• Kent (8/5): Quaint Ottoman House with a Great Location - We spent two nights in at the Mehves Hanim Konagi in Safronbolu. The Konagi is one of many old Ottoman houses turned into hotels. The Mehves was quaint and nice. The woman operating the Mehves was very nice and she prepared a very good Turkish breakfast. The location is really central to the interesting areas of Safronbolu. Like most similar Ottoman Konagis, there is no air conditioning. If you drive, beware - available parking is on the street (see photo). During the summer it might be impossible to find parking in the town.
