• Brenda (10/5): - Willard's is an immaculately kept and secure facility with beautiful decor. The suite is spacious, well equipped, quiet, and comfortable. There is a lovely private pool surrounded by an amazing array of plants in large ceramic pots. There is a nearby grocery store that is easily walkable in under 10 minutes. The proprietor is very hospital and helpful in arranging transportation. The breakfasts were superb with generous portions and a variety of options. The location is well situated for daily excursions to the north of Trinidad. We loved our 4-night stay and would return in a heartbeat.
• Thomas (10/5): - In 45 years of travel, we never stayed at a better place. If there is ever the need for a blueprint of a Bed & Breakfast, look no further. Our suite was spacious and meticulously clean. It provided the highest of comfort, was furnished in style and offered a great view of the rising sun, the surrounding neighborhood and the hills to the north. All original art on the walls throughout the house is testament to the owner's dedication for detail. The clean and well sized pool was an added bonus which we enjoyed every morning before our admirable host served a delicious Trinidadian breakfast to the highest standards. She turned this into an experience of a live time! If you think the photos look great - they are no match to the original! Should we ever return to Trinidad, and we hope we do, we will definitely stay at the Willard's Bed & Breakfast again.

• Lena (10/5): - Our experience at Willard's was incredible. The photos do not do this space justice. The pool is surrounded by an array of beautiful plants and comfortable seating. It is sparklingly clean and the perfect temperature. The entire property is so clean and well taken care of. The room was comfortable and nice. Best of all was the service and breakfast. The hosts are friendly and funny. When you go to breakfast you are brought to a table that has already been set. Though the menu changes every day, we had two courses and three plates of food brought to us both mornings of our stay. We enjoyed fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruit, and delicious homemade local cuisine. They asked us our allergies and aversions the night before and ensured breakfast was appropriate for our taste. We will be going back and recommending this to all of our friends!

We were a little late for checking in, finally found it as our maps app took us to the wrong part of the street, on arrival rang the doorbell dozens of times before the host arrived. We were getting a little worried but it was all good in the end though

• Brian (10/5): - Eutrice and Claire were wonderful hosts! Each morning we enjoyed a gourmet traditional Trinidad breakfast - exactly what we were hoping for. The breakfasts were large, filling and delicious. In fact, they provided so much food for breakfast, that we didn't eat lunch. It just wasn't necessary. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had in the room was that the shower rod fell down. However, Eutrice made sure that it was replaced quickly. The back porch is beautiful! Eutrice and Claire have put dozens and dozens of beautiful plants all around their property and on their back porch. The result is a very peaceful and lovely place to spend time. My wife and I would sit back there and have our daily Bible readings together. I also enjoyed swimming in the pool during the day. Eutrice takes really good care of her guests. I tried driving in Trinidad, but gave up after a few attempts. I was just not skilled enough to tackle driving there. When I told Eutrice I was going to return our rental car, she suggested that we hire a local driver to take us around to some place. We did, and it worked out great! The price was very reasonable. All in all, I highly recommend Willard's Bed and Breakfast. You won't go wrong here!

The compound is engulfed is different species of flower, palms and trees. Breakfast during our time was delectable. It was comprised of a fresh fruit bowl followed by the breakfast of the day. We felt at home and we’re able to enjoy every aspect of the house. This is our new hidden little gem. 10/10

• Jessica (10/5): - We stayed at Willards for a week in December and fell in love with the place and the host, Eutrice. We initially booked only a two night stay and when we arrived we were greeted by Eutrice and she graciously upgraded our room. Everything about Willards was perfect. The house is spotlessly clean and very attractive. Our room was more of an apartment with a small kitchen, dining room, and living space in addition to the king sized bed and full bath. We felt at home and were able to cook some meals to save money. Every morning we were treated with a delicious home-cooked breakfast -- sometimes an "American style" and sometimes a typical Trinidad breakfast. Eutrice provides everything to the smallest detail and we will surely miss her cooking! As things happen, my boyfriend injured his back and we sought advice about the local hospital from Eutrice. She immediately phoned her personal physician and made an appointment for him to visit that afternoon. The doctor visit saved our trip. Because of the injury, our plans changed and we ended up staying our entire time in Trinidad at Williards. Eutrice was very understanding and accommodating and worked with our schedule. We were happy to stay here as our home-base and do day trips around the island. The house is very secure with a security gate and we parked on the street right in front of the house. We've stayed in many places all over the world and Williards is one of our favorites. I hope to return one day.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Returning home I wanted to feel at home, I wanted the amenities Ive grown accustomed to living abroad like the hot and cold water and air condition but I wanted to be in a house where I could take in the beautiful landscape of Trinidad. I loved the house layout, it was cozy, clean and tropical. I loved the plants, freah air, mango trees and outside living space. Nothing could beat a good home made breakfast like bake and buljol, freshly squeezed orange juice and the sweet pineapple, mango, papaya, watermelon and bananas that are all grown locally. The pool was an added bonus, very clean and well kept that would help you to cool down on a hot tropical day. Last but not least I felt safe. The security system, cameras, gated compound and burglar proof helped me feel at ease. Parking was available for my rental vehicle directly in front for ease of getting in and out with luggage. Its location was prime, not far from the airport, close proximity to bus route, highway, malls, stores and shopping area. I would definitely recommend Willard and will return there in my next visit home.

But Eutrice was very accommodating and the driver for her guests, Carlton, was awesome! He schlepped my husband back and forth every day, maybe more than once. I wish everything had gone according to plan, because it really is a nice place with a nice pool.

• Verified traveler (10/5): A Hidden Gem - Very accommodating: The owner is super nice. She waited for my late arrival. On my last day, the owner even let me use the shower after checking out before heading to the airport later. If guests need anything, the owner is readily available on the phone. Good location: within 15 mins drive to the airport and same distance into downtown Port of Spain. The hotel locates in a safe neighborhood with automatic fence. Plenty of parkings inside the hotel or on the street. Hospitality: During my stay, I was looking forward to the breakfast. It was freshly made with local ingredients. The juice was to die for. The owner also gave me some good advice on what to do etc.

The service was excellent and the staff was willing to please, After my stay there I have recommended Willards to my friends and family, and they are looking forward to visiting there one of these days.
• Helen (10/5): A gem in Tunapuna - An artistically decorated B&B with access to buses that take you to Port of Spain. Eutrice Carrington prepared healthy, original and delicious breakfasts and was a gracious host.
• AJ (10/5): Central to everything. Safe area. Walkable. - Amazing little Oasis in only half hour away from centre of town. Tunapuna is a little suburb of Port if Spain and we were able to get Taxis from the main road-priority bus lane- every 5 minutes. Breakfasts are fresh and made with passion for cooking. Eutrice made us feel welcome and more important Home. Arrive flight was delayed 5 hours and unfortunately no way to let her know. She was very gracious about it. She is well traveled and full of tips and information about the area. Highly recommend Willard’s! The only negative is not too many options for Dinners in Tunapuna. So better to have your meals elsewhere.
