• Katarzyna (6/5): A pleasant stay, but could be better... - The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice touch to get the breakfast served in the room. You can even get a simple dinner in the price, but we opted to go out. There was a great view of the mountain from the top balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Parking on site close to the bungalow. The small pool area is cute and nice for relaxing. The two air conditioners in the kind bungalow didn't work well, and they sounded like their filters are really clogged up. The shower was either cold or scalding hot, so we had to shower with cold water, otherwise we'd get burned. On our second day just as we were served breakfast in the room, the staff started mowing the lawn just outside our bungalow making lots of noise. I understand that this needs to be done, but they could have waited until we finish breakfast and go out for day. It ruined a peaceful morning. The towels looked more grey than white with old stains. There was construction rubble below the balcony next to the stream. The balcony has two bar-type stools and lacks comfortable sitting. We had our camping chairs with us, so that helped a lot.

Un grande piscine entre les chambres magnifique. La vue également superbe.Le super petit dejeuner est servi sur la terrasse, La piscine ouvre trop tot, une sportive avait decider de faire des longueurs à 7h du matin, ce qui nous à reveillés puisque la piscine est devant la chambre, je l'ai signalé, peut etre deciderez vous d ouvrir la piscine un peu plus tard dans la matinée. Il faut une voiture, l hotel est un peu difficile à trouver.

Kun tulimme moottoripyöräretkiltämme, laitoimme sen päivällä päälle vähäksi aikaa, jotta auringon lämmittämä teltta viileni. Teltassa oli todella hyvä nukkua, hyvä sänky! Majoitukseen kuului teltalle oma wc- ja suihkurakennus, missä oli myös kylpyamme. Uima-altaalta on upea näkymä vuorelle! Hintaan kuului aamupala ja illallinen. Aamupala tarjoiltiin päärakennuksessa ja illallinen katettiin teltan edessä olevalle pöydälle, missä saimme syödä tähtitaivaan alla. Majoituspaikka oli todella rauhallinen! Kylässä on lähellä kauppa.

• Pierre (7/5): Beautiful place, poorly managed - Small hotel settled in a beautiful environment. Large bedroom nicely decorated. Good breakfast. Smiling staff. And a very good restaurant next to the hotel (closed on Tuesday). We also loved walking in the unspoiled countryside. Alas, the management seem to be absent and the place is poorly maintained : - the door handle of the room was broken (photo). - the doors creak. - chipped painting in the shower (photo). - the hot water was interrupted because the replacement gas bottle had not been changed ! There is also a very insufficient lighting in the room, which is rather gloomy (photo). For example, no light above de bathroom mirror. And no manager on site. The employees arrive in the morning and then leave. No one to contact if you need to have breakfast earlier. All this specified, it remains nonetheless a beautiful place.

• Jemima (10/5): - A very pleasant stay! The tent has a large bed, which was very comfortable to sleep in. The private seating area in front of the tent made the "private space" feel even bigger. The separate bathroom is new and clean. The grounds in general are beautiful and the views are magnificent. The owners are really friendly. Dinner is included in the price and a delicious homemade breakfast is prepared for you and served at the table. The tent heats up as soon as the sun starts to warm it up in the morning. However, there is an air conditioner inside the tent for cooling.

• ian (9/5): Great Chiang Dao layover between Chiang Mai or Pai, en route to Chiang Rai. - Located in small rural village setting with fabulous views of mountain. Select deluxe king for best experience. Pool was lovely, almost felt like a private one. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially when we were let down with our pre booked taxi to Chiang Rai. There is a lovely family run restaurant on site for all residents, including those in the more ambitious and rustic/glamping tent offerings (not quite for us!) (100tbh meal discount with booking) We didn't book long enough, we should have had at least 1 or 2 nights more to really appreciate it.

• Jean-Philippe (10/5): 2nd stay at The Wes Village :) - Second time coming (king room again), it was as nice as the first time. We rented a scooter on site (250 bhat) and explored the area (waterfalls & hotsprings up north - ticket valid for both places, etc) but also temples. On tuesday and saturday nights, there’s a bar with live music (Marabai Bar & Restaurant) ! Even not on those nights, its a cool close-by place, a few minutes walk and you can stargaze on the way. If you can, visit on a new moon to have the best sky conditions. Its been also great to tan and enjoy the sunset by the pool. I strongly suggest staying at The Wes. Didn’t break anything this time so no complaint haha

• Jean-Philippe (9/5): Don’t believe some the bad reviews, very nice and beautiful place !!! - Beautiful scenery, even from the king room, yes there are now tents in front of it (compared to the pictures) but it doesn’t take away the beauty from it all. The view from the pool is amazing, beautiful sunsets and clean pool. Reading some of the bad reviews, I had little expectations, but from the staff’s friendliness to the comfortable bed, most of the bad reviews I read are wrong. The breakfast is good, the unhappy customers must have been expected a buffet? It’s a small hotel... You can have dinner cooked for you each night, it was delicious. I don’t ride a motorbike but I was still able to go walk around (there’s a nice bar with a pool table not far away, and you can stargaze on the way - see Marabai Bar & Restaurant on google maps). By the time I left, I already booked the room again for another time :) The only negative thing I can say is that I broke a glass by accident and I was charged 200 bhat for it. Clearly the owner took advantage of the situation to charge a ridiculous price for it, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the staff on site, she didn’t decide the cost of replacement. It was a normal glass, and it’s not worth that at all :( too bad, would have been a perfect score.

• didi (9/5): Price/Quality top - Not the warmest welcome, but the couple who run the restaurant more than make up for it. The food is also particularly tasty and you can linger over a drink by the campfire 🙏 The swimming pool is beautifully situated and has a magnificent view! The bungalow is very tastefully decorated with a terrace large enough for two. Upon arrival, it smelled rather chemical, mothballs? Floor wax? We immediately opened the windows and put all the air fresheners outside, which made a big difference after an hour 🙃 Breakfast was included and very tasty, perhaps a little sparse, but considering the price we paid for our stay, we're not complaining! We rented a moped on site for 300 baht, which was fine.
• Ping Hung (3/5): 爛! 不會再訂 - 服務員態度不錯，很親切，但房間硬件實在有點爛! 早餐是好吃，是套餐，不會飽 可能是最低的房價，被分配到最細、距離主大樓最遠的房間 房間是獨立小木屋，走每一步地板都好像快要下陷似的 洗手間內設備大部份都很破舊，洗臉盤下面漏水，蓮蓬頭支架是破的，洗澡全程要用手拿著 最可怕是熱水器是燃氣的，使用時就聞到怪味，窗又被紗網封著，每次都怕會氣體中毒，只好開著廁所門洗，快快完事。 水壓也極之弱，熱水器也不夠熱(清道12月只有20多度，早上只十多度) 最奇怪是要打開所有燈，熱水器才會點火 (天才設計的電路)，如果是早上，房間內的其他人就一定被燈光弄醒。 不建議住 (除非訂更貴的房型)

Breakfast is very good-love the mini banoffee pie. Staff were lovely and went out of their way to prepare us some fried rice as their restaurant was close. The hot water wasn’t working properly. I found the smell of the air freshener and defusers in the room was too strong had to remove them from the room.

• DAVID (7/5): המיקום מושלם החדר גדול אבל הניקיון לוקה בחסר - המיקום לא פחות ממטורף הבריכה, ארוחת הבוקר שמוגשת לחדר והצוות אדיבים כמו גם מטבח גדול שמאפשר בישול. הניקיון בחדר היה פשוט לא טוב, נמלים מתות מההדברה בחלונות, אבק בארונות והמיטה גם כן מלאה באבק למרות שביקשנו שינקו הייתה איזו אי הבנה וזה לא קרה, מבאס.

• Ines (7/5): - Wir hatten einen Bungalow mit Blick auf die Berge. Leider werden gerade weitere Hütten, direkt vor den Bungalows gebaut. Das Frühstück war lecker und der Pool war sehr angenehm. Der kühle und emotionslose Empfang und die absolut unbequemen Stühle auf der Terrasse.
• Theunissen (10/5): Excellent - Very nice and comfortable stay, the room was excellent and we had a very nice talk with the owner. Good view on the mountain!
• Rafael (10/5): - La relación calidad precio. La habitación era rustica y acogedora, limpia, bonita, unas vistas increíbles, silenciosa, no se puede pedir más. Tienes un restaurante que preparan unas burguer deliciosas. Todo el complejo hotelero tiene mil comodidades y es como el paraíso. Volvería sin dudarlo Nada

• Ute (9/5): - Ruhige Anlage mit schönem Blick und Pool. Leider lag das gebuchte Zimmer (Bungalow) nicht, wie von den Bildern zu erwarten, am Poolbereich, sondern 180 m weg, sogar außerhalb der Anlage..Bessere Information in Bild- und Textform zu den Zimmervarianten wäre wünschenswert.
• pharsai (9/5): Very nice restaurant inside hotel - The location is nearby chiang dao mountain which we planned to trekking. They also provide us 100 bath voucher for a very nice restaurant (Inter steak house). The dinner is very delicious and the price is reasonable for us. Wish we could have a second dinner there. Nothing. Unlnless you drive to there by yourself and arrived late, the entrance to place is quite dark.
• Lauren (8/5): Beautiful view but loud music from down the road - I stayed here a second night because it was lovely. Again, the breakfast was excellent. The view is beautiful. Both nights I stayed there was quite loud music playing from a bar further down the road. The music went until after 11pm. I had ear plugs, but I could still hear it. I'm not sure if the noise is temporary or permanent. I'm also not sure if the rooms have better sound proofing and the tent allows more noise.

• Lauren (8/5): Gorgeous view - Lovely view of the mountain. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The tent had everything, including a kettle. There is a restaurant on site that has a wide selection of foods (and was delicious). The bed was really comfortable, and there were several pillows to choose from. Parking was easily available on site. I heard the staff helping another guest to arrange a taxi. The tent was perfect for a December night. I didn't need the air conditioner. But by 9am, the tent was hot! It would not be nice to rest in the tent during the day.
• Michael&Elena (10/5): Atemberaubend - Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal dort. Die Lage ist einfach Top. Verhungern tut hier niemand. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere nächste Aufenthalt ist bereits gebucht.
• Vanessa (9/5): - Endroit paisible et relaxant, avec vue magnifique, personnel serviable et chambre confortable. La piscine et le petit restaurant de burger à proximité immédiate sont également appréciables. Le petit-déjeuner est malheureusement insuffisant, tant en terme de quantité que de qualité. Dommage, c'est le seul bémol de notre séjour.
