- Wei Liang (10/5): - Good

- Michael (6/5): Value for money. - Location and the coffee shop downstairs. Staff were helpful. Small windowless room.

- Kuang Yee (10/5): - Ya .I like it much..👍self check-in system
- Jessy James (10/5): -
- Pour (8/5): - Nice staff Quiet
- Paul (9/5): - The location, the big seperat bathrooms and a good working AC. It can be a lil bit noisy but only if you are a really light sleeper.
- Bran (8/5): Simple but pleasant room - Good value for money, simple but pleasant. There’s a nice coffee spot on the ground floor with quality house-roasted coffee. We worked/studies here on a laptop. The staff are friendly and let us store our bags after checkout. The room was small but sufficient, the bed was comfortable. I’d happily stay here again. As it’s a historic building with wooden floors, footsteps can be quite audible. If you’re sensitive to noise, this may be a bit uncomfortable for you.

- Daniel (6/5): - Gute Lage Empfang recht unfreundlich

- Zehra (10/5): Comfortable and cute with lovely staff - Really clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Staff were super nice. Well located and safe. Its a heritage building with lots of cool character which I loved. I am a solo female traveller and I would recommend staying at this hostel. Since its an old building with a Cafe downstairs, it can get quite noisy so best to wear ear buds to sleep.

- Kiel (8/5): 5D4N stayed. - Everything's almost perfect for me , for that kind of price , i must say it's worth every penny. They provide a good body wash n shampoo . Room also comfortable. Well since it's a hostel , you can expect like a rude "hostelmates" who can't read the sign that clearly said "mind ur.step n lower down ur voices" . glad i bring my earphones otherwise i can't sleep through the whole night . Some of them can't even close the door gently . If only they weren't girls , i'll smack that chick already. Hopefully, u guys always remind ur customers to follow the rules cause some people can't read these days.
- Kamila (2/5): No contact with the owner when our keycard stopped working!!!! - Good location! Beds were also comfortable but everything else was poor Our key card for the main entrance stopped working one evening, we messaged the owner to say we can’t get into the building and he told us he can come at 11:30pm to let us in. This wasn’t an issue for us, so we came back at 11:30 and waited outside, I sent him a message saying we’re waiting outside, then tried to call after 20 minutes he didn’t pick up. There was no contact with the owner at all!!!!
Very dangerous situation to put 2 young girls in with nowhere to go. Don’t recommend staying here for this reason.
The bed sheets also had stains on them when we arrived, the walls are incredibly thin so you can hear all the people around you all night, and the owner also has a cafe right below the rooms and puts on loud music from 8am so you basically can’t sleep longer than that.
Not the best place, it would be fine for the price of there weren’t any issues with the owner.
- Nur Sheryana (3/5): - 1. There was an unpleasant smell from the kitchen exhaust that entered the room and caused discomfort.
2. Parking is very limited, and the paid parking area is quite far, making it inconvenient to walk.
3. The pantry on the top floor was very dirty and poorly maintained. There was no water dispenser, and no cutlery or plates provided, even though guests are allowed to order food from outside.
I hope the management will take the necessary improvements. Thank you.

- Clémence (9/5): Great stay - His location near to the main attractions, bars, restaurants, groceries and bus stop.
The kitchen with ustensils, fridge and kettle, the complimentaty tea, washmachine and everything you need in the bathroom. Bathroom could be cleaned everyday because there are 7 rooms to use it everyday.
- Fasihatull Hasnaa Binti Mohamed Sapeai (1/5): -
- Ahmad (10/5): - I will repeat next time,place was good
- Boukje (6/5): - Room is clean Bathroom is not clean and hasnt been cleaned since our whole stay (3 nights)
- Giuseppe (8/5): Ok - Nice location, very central to find everything. Staff very friendly. Bathroom isn't so much clean.
- Azhar (5/5): Passable -
- Miroslava (9/5): Affordable cozy accommandation in the centre of George town. - It is very affordable place to stay in the centre of George town. The building is very similar to other buildings in this area. It is well maintained and it feels very cozy. Internet is stable and fast (we work online, so it was a must). Bathroom is clean ans spacious. There is toilet paper, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel and more stuff for use. Upstairs is balcony with kettle and elctric stove. The room is older but it makes it very interesting and there are paitings all around so it is really welcoming and home feeling place to stay. Downstairs they have their own restaurant and cafe. You can walk to love lane in 5 minutes, three doors from this accomandation you can find cafe with puppies, lizards, snakes and so on. On the corner there is AMAZING restaurant too. Choose this for your stay ! You will not regret it !
- Charlotte (9/5): Great! - Comfy pillows!
Great having a private room Bathroom could be checked more often. Random hairs all over the sink for a couple of days, and lack of toilet roll.
Building is quite noisey
- Folland (7/5): Good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriela (10/5): Wonderful Georgetown - clean and spacious room, tidy and clean shared bathroom, on the top floor there is a balcony where you can drink coffee and smoke a cigarette, extremely friendly and helpful staff who help with various practical information, good wifi, good location and neighborhood close to everything interesting, close to restaurants and shops, very good value for money
- Yim (8/5): Very good -
- Farah (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chris (5/5): Passable -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Someone might be the worker entered the room
- Hadi (7/5): Good -
- Terence (10/5): Room above great coffee - Great location with a cafe downstairs, old building had plenty of character and room was a decent size to have our large bags open without being cramped. Night life was only a block away and plenty to see on the area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location- comfort beds - Good location, clean relatively but gave dirty towels and dirty bed linen.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Was good, stayed one night in their large room which was enormous and great, the second night we stayed in their normal which was good just small
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel with good location - Everything is good but the floor seems like didn't clean enough as we were not allow to wear shoes to our room and we can feel the dust while walking upstairs
- Stephanie Yueyan (8/5): Cheap, cheerful, convenient - For the price we paid, it was quite comfortable and generally clean. The beds were a bit harder than what my friends and I are used but cheap and cheerful and convenient is how I would describe this place. The place is old, so expect sounds on the floor or from the ceiling above (unless you're on the top floor like us) because a lot of it is made of wood.
The biggest negative is that the owner wasn't expecting us as the place changed hands in March. So our booking which we made early was made in January with the old owner and for whatever reason, they don't receive your booking under hotels.com but under expedia. So I had to make some calls before the whole problem was sorted out. But aside from that, everything was dandy and the new owner still allowed us to check in and stay a night despite not having received a cent yet.
