Colazione buona Avrei gradito la colazione con tavoli ognuno associato alla propria camera e non un tavolo per quanto bello condiviso con gli altri ospiti. • Shi Yu (10/5): - Very cute farm stay with very nice and helpful hosts - made us breakfast in the morning (and left out food for us on the morning we had to leave earlier than their serving time). They also recommended us scenic drives and towns/things to do around the area. There are a few restaurants in the town if one prefers not to drive out at night. Their dogs were so sweet and energetic and we spent some time playing with them! Wish we could have stayed longer. Parking space was quite tight for our rented SUV although still possible.
• Alexis (9/5): Our stay was relaxed and comfortable. Our hosts were accommodating and kind. - Michela and her brother were gracious hosts. Our room in the main house was clean and well ventilated. I was grateful for the screens on the windows so the mosquitos stayed out! The AC was much appreciated for the hot late afternoon. Our bed was comfortable, and had a nice quilt for the cool nights. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Eggs cooked to our taste were offered every morning, along with wonderful fresh fruit that they grow, select meats and cheeses, bread, yogurt, sweet pastries, excellent juices. We did not go away hungry! We had access to a shared refrigerator with our own container for our items. Great idea! The location was a short walk to the town of Castelnuovo Berardenga, for several fabulous restaurants and a CoOp market. Only about 25k to Siena, and a reasonable and beautiful drive to Montalcino and San Quirico d'Orcia. We were given several suggestions for other possible towns for day trips. So hard to choose! The convenience for these kind of day trips make Podere San Quirico the perfect location to "base" out of. There was a swimming pool (not heated) and towels available. I used it as it was hot during our stay. We had a minor medical emergency during our stay, and our hosts were extremely proactive in helping us get the proper care. They called a local doctor, who gave appropriate advice. In this case we had to drive at 8pm on a Sunday night to Emergency Room in Seina. Michela explained the Italian signage to look for as we neared the hospital, so we could make our way there. All worked out just fine. We loved their dogs, and other visitors' dogs! Glad they were welcome here! I was unaware of use of a safe for valuables. There was no safe in our room. Some of the sun chairs were a bit old and a few not functioning well. The parking is "cramped", so a larger SUV may not fit very well. The seating on the patio was uncomfortable. 2 tables under the awning had the chairs turned up, discouraging use. I would have enjoyed more time sitting outside if it were more inviting.

Je kan 's avonds eenvoudig te voet naar het centrum, waar een paar verschillende restaurants zijn. Goede uitvalsbasis voor de regio's Val d'Orcia en Chianti. Hele vriendelijke eigenaars, mooie tuin met een klein zwembad. Het ontbijt is verzorgd. Enig minpuntje: de temperatuur van het zwembad, dat was echt wel aan de frisse kant. De eigenaars hebben twee hele lieve honden, waarvan er één los rondloopt op het domein. Dat heeft ons niet gestoord, als hondenliefhebbers, maar ik kan mij voorstellen dat niet iedereen fan is van een loslopende hond op het domein.

• Tom (10/5): Exceptional - A great agriturismo in Castelnuovo Berardenga, a cute little Tuscan town in the Chianti region. It was exactly the type of getaway we were looking for, and Francesco was so hospitable and helpful -- he helped us get reservations, gave us great tips for our day trips out to Siena and Piensa, and made breakfast for us every morning. It's a beautiful historic farmhouse that's also very comfortable to stay at. I'd recommend it to anyone.

• Cosmin (10/5): Second year in a row coming here - There is nothing that you can’t love about this property. The villa is kept in the family for generations, it is very old, from the 13th century, but they renovated some parts of it so nicely. It’s 5min walk from the village but still in the middle of the nature. In the morning you’ll see the nice sunrise over the Tuscan hills, at night you’ll hear the crickets and see the stars. The owners are the most kindest people and we liked that it’s still owned by the family, you can see that they do it with passion. Plus, the location of the villa is perfect to reach most part of Tuscany. We visited the whole Tuscany from Chianti down to Montalcino, Montepulciano and the whole Val d’Orcia. We’ll go back again next year for sure and mostly to see the cute dogs again ❤️
• Dudley1 (9/5): Podere San Quirico, warm welcoming and a lovely place to relax. - What a beautiful part of Italy and such a lovely place to stay was Podere San Quirico. Our hosts with their 3 super friendly Setter Dogs made us feel welcome and made sure we had all we needed in this out of town country property. The one aspect which really did complete our stay was sitting outside of an evening enjoying our own simple meal with a glass of wine, amongst the garden lighting and a visit from the dogs. Each morning we would go to the kitchen area where we were provided a wonderful choice for breakfast (scrambled eggs & bacon was the best) with coffee & juice. Sitting there with the other guests was a lovely way to say hello to others and hear their stories. If you are looking for that safe, country style stay where you were cared for but also left to enjoy the surrounds, this is the place to stay. Really hard to say anything negative about this property. They really did ensure all you may require was available, even could not complain about the weather as it was warm and without mosquitos. Can I complain about the 3 flies that hung around - so no negatives from us.

• Isabel (10/5): Exceptional - This is a nicely decorated traditional building with plenty of charm in a well kept rural property. The swimming pool has a nice view over the Tuscany hills, and helped to cool down! To wake up in the morning and see the Tuscany hills from our window was amazing! This said, I would like to emphasize firstly the sympathy and availability of the hosts, Michaela and Francesco, which gave us very good tips on our visit to Tuscany, and secondly, the personally served breakfast, which was very good! Only one aspect occurs: the extra bed provided (sofa bed/sleeper sofa) could be more comfortable!

The owners were very knowledgeable - gave us many recommendations on the places to visit and welcoming… not to mention the dogs! The room was clean, great pool to cool down in the hot weather and breakfast was served with organic food, special shout out to Francesco’s scrambled eggs! The location was perfectly placed to visit tourist hotspots such as Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni. We will definitely make a return visit! Niente.

• Galadriel (10/5): Absolutely dreamy farm in Tuscany! - I can't say enough about this place! We had a wonderful time and felt like we had a true Tuscan experience. We loved being on a farm. Breakfast every morning was exceptional. The views from our room were dreamy. There were even three sweet dogs on the property. It is in a small town, that is an easy walk. We ate at two of the local restaurants and they were both really good. The farm is an easy drive up into the Chianti region. There is a beautiful castle that is less than 20 minutes from the farm. Our host gave us the best tips on places to go. I would 100% stay here again. I have nothing negative to say.

There is a shared kitchen in the guest area that is very clean and you can have place in the fridge if you want. The breakfast is really nice too ! La ville de Sienne est à 20min en voiture maximum, vous êtes au départ de la route des crêtes pour admirer les paysages magnifiques de la Toscane, des domaines vinicoles tout autour et plein de petits villages à moins de 40min en voiture (San Giminiano, Colle d’Elsa, Monterigioni, mais aussi Montalcino, San Quirico etc..). • Serdal (10/5): A superb Tuscan experience - We loved everything! The location was great, very close to known Tuscan villages, to iconic Siena and the village itself was really nice to walk around. Michele and Francesco are the nicest hosts, so helpful with suggestions for our day trips, so attentive to details and just very lovely to talk to. We had delicious breakfasts every morning, with lots to choose from and fresh cakes every day! Everything was sparkling clean and our room was refreshed every day. There are a few restaurants in the village, very close to the accommodation, and the food is delicious. Definitely try any dish with porcini 😀 We had a great experience at Podere San Quirico and all we want is to go back ❤ thank you Michele & Francisco, for making our stay absolutely wonderful! The water temperature was PERFECT for us to cool off (we are from Switzerland and enjoy/are used to cold water temperature). The area was beautiful and there was a small grocery store nearby.

• Adria (10/5): Excellent! - Francesco and Mikaela are treat their guests with the best service. They are kind, helpful, generous and a pleasure to have shared our vacation with. They are great at recommending what’s best and they even went out of their way to pick us up and drop us off after our stay which was not necessary at all! Their property is serene, beautiful and quiet in the countryside. The breakfast in the AM is delicious and Francesco is there to help you with whatever you need. They are a close walk to this beautiful winery and a small village town. We’ll definitely be back!
